Quality Control Analysis on Frozen Pelagic Fish Processing PT Perikanan Nusantara (Persero) Branch Benoa Bali PT Perikanan Nusantara (Persero) Branch Benoa Bali since 1972, has implemented a quality control. But in reality, there is pelagic fish damage in 2014 with a percentage of 2.74%. The aim of this research are determining the implementation of quality control at frozen pelagic fish processing and quality control systems using statistical quality control approach with controlling map and quality cost. Results of this research is the implementation of quality control in processing frozen pelagic fish viewed from good manufacturing practices meets the standards of the company, it is evidenced by the statement of the customer. When monitoring using the map control, quality control that occurs has not been implemented properly, because of a lot of damaged fish are out of the control limits. Quality control using quality cost that implemented by the company is still loose, because the real quality cost incurred for quality control cost are 48,801,869 IDR, quality assurance fee of 441,122,00 IDR, and the total cost for the quality of 489,923,869 IDR with the level of damage 40,102 kg, it is greater than the should quality cost with 146,727,587 IDR for quality control cost, quality assurance fee of 147,718,000 IDR, and the total cost for the quality level is 293,445,587 IDR with level of damage 13,338 kg. Thus, companies need to increase intensively on ship handling and processing as well as quality control

Background: Gall bladder is among the most common surgically resected organs with various neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions. Chronic chocystitis is the most commonly encountered lesion in India and worldwide and 78-90% are associated with calculi. Gall bladder cancer constitutes 0.5% to 1.09% including both suspected and incidental diagnosis. The objective of present study was to evaluate the various lesions of Gall bladder and the importance of grossing and histopathological examination of every cholecystectomy specimen in order to diagnose the incidental gall bladder cancer (IGBC).Methods: A Retrospective study of cholecystectomy specimens for a period of one year, May 2015 to June 2016 was carried out. 252 Cholecystectomy specimens were received and all of them subjected for histopathological examination and the sections stained with routine Hematoxylin and Eosin stain. Results: Commonest age group being 21-40years (41%) followed by 41-60years (40%). Gall bladder (GB) lesions are more common in females 175 (70%) and M:F ratio 1:2.2.Most commonest lesions were Chronic calculous cholecystitis constituting 155 cases (61%) followed by chronic cholecystitis 52 cases (21%). Cholelithiasis was associated with both Acute and Chronic Cholecytitis constituting 67%. Acute calculous cholecystits constitute 13 cases (5%) and Acute cholecystitis constitutes 10 cases (4%). In Congenital anomalies, 3 cases (1.2%) of Biliary atresia and 4 cases (1.2%) of choledochal cyst were diagnosed. 4 cases (1.6%) of Gall bladder carcinoma was diagnosed. Among these 3 cases were incidental gall bladder carcinoma (IGBC).Conclusions: cholecystectomy specimens should be subjected for histopathological examination to study various lesions of GB and to detect unsuspected incidental gall bladder cancer as cholecystectomy itself is the treatment for gall bladder cancer and also other lesions of GB associated with cholelithiasis

    Orbital order-disorder transition in La(1-x)Nd(x)MnO(3) (x = 0.0-1.0) and La(1-x-y)Nd(yx)Sr(y)MnO(3) (x = 0.1; y = 0.05,0.1)

The nature of orbital order-disorder transition has been studied in the La(1-x)Nd(x)MnO(3) (x = 0.0-1.0) series which covers the entire range between two end points - LaMnO(3) and NdMnO(3) - as well as in La(0.85)Nd(0.1)Sr(0.05)MnO(3) and La(0.8)Nd(0.1)Sr(0.1)MnO(3). It has been observed that the first-order nature of the transition gives way to higher order with the increase in "x" in the case of pure manganites. The latent heat (L) associated with the transition, first, drops with a steeper slope within x = 0.0-0.3 and, then, gradually over a range 0.3<x<0.9. This drop could, possibly, be due to evolution of finer orbital domain structure with "x". In the case of Sr-doped samples, the transition appears to be of higher-order nature even for a doping level 5 at%. In both cases, of course, the transition temperature T(JT) rises systematically with the drop in average A-site radius or rise in average Mn-O-Mn bond bending angle while no apparent correlation could be observed with doping induced disorder sigma^2. The cooperative nature of the orbital order, therefore, appears to be robust.Comment: 15 pages including 4 figures; pdf onl

In the title compound, C26H12FNO6, the central pyran ring and both benzopyran systems are nonplanar, having total puckering amplitudes of 0.139 (2), 0.050 (1) and 0.112 (2) Å, respectively. The central pyran ring adopts a boat conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by C—H⋯O, N—H⋯O, N—H⋯F and C—H⋯π interactions

Quantum Dissension: Generalizing Quantum Discord for Three-Qubit States

We introduce the notion of quantum dissension for a three-qubit system as a measure of quantum correlations. We use three equivalent expressions of three-variable mutual information. Their differences can be zero classically but not so in quantum domain. It generalizes the notion of quantum discord to a multipartite system. There can be multiple definitions of the dissension depending on the nature of projective measurements done on the subsystems. As an illustration, we explore the consequences of these multiple definitions and compare them for three-qubit pure and mixed GHZ and W states. We find that unlike discord, dissension can be negative. This is because measurement on a subsystem may enhance the correlations in the rest of the system. This approach can pave a way to generalize the notion of quantum correlations in the multiparticle setting.Comment: 9 pages 6 figures typo fixed and some arguments adde

Thermal Stability of Zirconia-coated Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes

Sol-gel method has been used to coat multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with zirconia at room temperature and the coated tubes were sintered at high temperature. The samples were characterised by Raman spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, environmental scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive x-ray analyses. The performance of the coated-MWCNTs was investigated as a function of temperature. The TGA studies indicated that sintering of coated-MWCNTs has improved its oxidation resistance and this improvement is related to the proper selection of sintering temperature.Defence Science Journal, 2010, 60(3), pp.337-342, DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.14429/dsj.60.36
