Orthogonal Ramanujan Sums, its properties and Applications in Multiresolution Analysis
Signal processing community has recently shown interest in Ramanujan sums
which was defined by S.Ramanujan in 1918. In this paper we have proposed
Orthog- onal Ramanujan Sums (ORS) based on Ramanujan sums. In this paper we
present two novel application of ORS. Firstly a new representation of a finite
length signal is given using ORS which is defined as Orthogonal Ramanujan
Periodic Transform.Secondly ORS has been applied to multiresolution analysis
and it is shown that Haar transform is a spe- cial case

Wireless Controlled Door-Bell
Now-a- day\u27s wireless control of appliance is in practice, because of its advantage like no wire is needed, multiple controlling is less complicated. The controlling range of wireless doorbell is 100M.
As the wireless doorbell is wireless based project, it is divided into two major section i.e. transmitter and receiver.
Transmitter: This transmitter section is designed around oscillator transistor (BF194B) T2 followed by two transistor (BC148) T1 and T3. Transistor T2 generate special radio frequency determined by trimmer (variable capacitor) and coil. Transistor T1 is used as pulse generator. The output from transistor T3 is given to emitter of transistor T2 in order to get radio frequency from its collector. Trimmer VC1 is used to adjust the transmitter frequency.
Receiver: The receiver section is further divided into two main sections i.e. RF amplifier section and bell trigger section. An aerial is used to receive the transmitted frequency from remote which is further amplified by amplifier and trigger circuit. The whole receiver circuit utilizes seven transistors
KINETIC ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM (KERS)
Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) is a system for recovering the moving vehicle's kinetic energy under braking and also to convert the usual loss in kinetic energy into gain in kinetic energy. When riding a bicycle, a great amount of kinetic energy is lost while braking, making start up fairly strenuous. Here we used mechanical kinetic energy recovery system by means of a flywheel to store the energy which is normally lost during braking, and reuse it to help propel the rider when starting. The rider can charge the flywheel when slowing or descending a hill and boost the bike when accelerating or climbing a hill. The flywheel increases maximum acceleration and nets 10% pedal energy savings during a ride where speeds are between 12.5 and 15 mph

These ferroelectric thin films guide light at 532 and 633 nm and have a single domain structure that can be written with permanent, submicron, anti-parallel domains
Prevalence and Genotypes of Mycobacterium Avium Subspecies Paratuberculosis in Large Ruminants of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, North India
Uttar Pradesh is the fourth largest, most populous and leading milk and meat producing state in India. Despite the huge livestock population, information on the status of paratuberculosis homogeneity and heterogeneity of Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP) isolates of eastern Uttar Pradesh is non-existent. Present study was aimed to estimate the presence of MAP in large ruminants (Cattle and Buffaloes) of eastern Uttar Pradesh. A total 108 fecal samples were collected from farmer's herds of large ruminants (cattle and buffaloes) from different geographical regions (Chandauli, Mughalsarai, Gazipur, and Naugarh) of eastern Uttar Pradesh and screened for the presence of MAP infection using microscopic examination, direct IS900 PCR and culture on Herrold egg yolk (HEY) medium. The isolates recovered on HEY medium were subjected to molecular identification and genotyping using IS900 PCR and IS1311 PCR-REA method, respectively. Of the 108 fecal samples, 25 (23.14%) and 11 (10.18%) samples were positive for the presence of acid-fast bacilli and growth on HEY medium, respectively. Species-wise, 17.5, 7.5% and 26.5, 11.7% fecal samples from cattle and buffaloes were found positive for the presence of acid-fast bacilli and growth on HEY medium, respectively. Isolates recovered on HEY medium with mycobactin J were positive for IS900 sequence and genotyped as Bison Type using IS1311 PCR-REA method. Present study is the first report on the presence of MAP infection and ‘Bison Type' genotype of MAP in eastern Uttar Pradesh. These findings will be useful for the intervention of effective control measures in order to reduce the prevalence of MAP infection in domestic livestock species and prevent its spread to the human population in the regions
Near-infrared Study of the Carina Nebula
We have carried out near-infrared (NIR) imaging observations of the Carina
Nebula for an area of ~400 sq. arcmin. including the star clusters Trumpler 14
(Tr 14) and Trumpler 16 (Tr 16). With 10 sigma limiting magnitudes of J ~ 18.5,
H ~ 17.5 and K_s ~ 16.5, we identified 544 Class II and 11 Class I young star
candidates. We find some 40 previously unknown very red sources with H-K_s > 2,
most of which remain undetected at the J band. The red NIR sources are found to
be concentrated to the south-east of Tr 16, along the `V' shaped dust lane,
where the next generation of stars seems to be forming. In addition, we find
indications of ongoing star formation near the three MSX point sources,
G287.51-0.49, G287.47-0.54, and G287.63-0.72. A handful of red NIR sources are
seen to populate around each of these MSX sources. Apart from this, we
identified two hard Chandra X-ray sources near G287.47-0.54, one of which does
not have an NIR counterpart and may be associated with a Class I/Class 0
object. The majority of the Class II candidates, on the other hand, are seen to
be distributed in the directions of the clusters, demarcating different
evolutionary stages in this massive star-forming region. A comparison of the
color-magnitude diagrams of the clusters with pre-main sequence model tracks
shows that the stellar population of these clusters is very young (< 3 Myr).
The K_s band luminosity function (KLF) of Tr 14 shows structure at the faint
end, including a sharp peak due to the onset of deuterium burning, implying an
age of 1-2 Myr for the cluster. The KLF of Tr 16, in contrast, is found to rise
smoothly until it turns over. The slopes of the mass functions derived for the
clusters are found to be in agreement with the canonical value of the field
star initial mass function derived by Salpeter.Comment: Accepted for publication in ApJ; 45 pages, 18 figures, and 3 tables.
