    Peran guru dibutuhkan dalam membentuk salah satu aspek kepribadian yang penting bagi siswa yaitu kemandirian. Kemandirian adalah keinginan seseorang untuk melakukan segala sesuatu secara mandiri. Ada banyak jenis kemandirian yang kita ketahui salah satunya ialah kemandirian belajar. Kemandirian belajar bisa dibentuk melalui pembiasaan perilaku yang diterapkan disekolah dan di rumah. Salah satu pembiasaan yang dilakukan disekolah dan di rumah adalah bertanggung jawab dalam pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran guru kelas dalam membentuk kemandirian siswa kelas III di SDN Jati 1 Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah di SDN Jati 1 Kota Tangerang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai sumber belajar, fasilitator, pengelola, demonstrator, dan motivator sudah berjalan dengan baik dalam membentuk kemandirian siswa

    The low creative thinking skills of students with conventional learning models. The research was conducted to determine the improvement of students' creative thinking skills. Especially in grade 5 elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to improve students' creative thinking skills. The model used is the PAIKEM model. PAIKEM is a learning approach which means Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective and Fun Learning. The application of the PAIKEM approach is expected to be able to overcome the problems experienced by teachers and students in learning and make the learning carried out more meaningful for students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, documentation, and observation. The research instrument consists of an assessment rubric and the development of creative thinking skills using the PAIKEM model. The results showed an increase in students' creative thinking skills using the PAIKEM model. This is evidenced by the average percentage obtained by students from the pre-cycle stage with a percentage of 28.6% in the very creative category, in the first cycle it increased to 33.3% in the very creative category and in the second cycle increased to 61.9%. Thus, the application of the PAIKEM model is very helpful for students in improving creative thinking skills in casting new ideas

    This study aims to determine students' curiosity about social studies subjects. Curiosity is needed by students to encourage students to be interested in learning and exploring information in teaching and learning activities. Curiosity is needed by students to encourage students to be interested in learning and exploring information. Social studies learning which is one of the subjects at the level of basic education focuses its studies on human relations and the process of helping the development of capabilities in human relations. This research was conducted at Karawaci 4 Elementary School with a population of 250 Karawaci Elementary School students. The sample for this study used grade VI with a total of 36 students. Furthermore, class teachers and principals of Karawaci 4 Elementary School were also used as information to get as much data and information as possible to see how students curiosity about social knowledge. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research analysis uses descriptive qualitative form of exposure or explanation of the data from observations and interviews. Although this social studies lesson a lot of material that demands to memorize and provide insights about social knowledge that shows knowledge about culture, diversity, and art.     Analisis Kesulitan Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Operasi Hitung Pecahan di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

    This study aims to describe (1) Learning fraction counting learning in class V, (2) the difficulty of students in completing fraction counting operations in class V SDN BENCONGAN VI, (3) Factors of students difficulty in completing fraction counting operations, and (4) Solutions that can be given to overcome the difficulties of students in completing fraction counting operations. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The sample of this study amounted to 6 people drawn from the population of all fifth grade students of SDN BENCONGAN VI. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed (1) The learning of classical count operations is included in either category. (2) The average test result completing the fractional count operation is classically very low. (3) The factors of students' difficulties in completing fraction counting operations are the difficulties of students when solving fraction story problems, the factors of students' difficulties when completing addition and subtraction problems of the mentioned fractions are not the same, then the factors of students' difficulties in simplifying fractions. (4) The solution to overcome is how to teach teachers to be further improved both in the use of more varied methods and the use of media or teaching aids in learning, the need for the role of the family in guiding children to learn at home
