Objective: Linear and Mass attenuation coefficients are two quantities used, their strategies of measurement had been evolved by many peoples for stable and aqueous solutions. we have tried to broaden an equation for direct dimension of linear attenuation coefficient of water soluble sulphates at one of a kind energys. This approach is useful in measuring the absorption coefficient of sulphate without obtaining them in pallet form. Materials and Methods: Water soluble sulphates were collected from study sites. Here we have given Ammonium sulphate((NHâ‚„)â‚‚SOâ‚„), Sodium sulphate (Naâ‚‚SOâ‚„), Copper (II) sulphate( CuSOâ‚„â‚“), Zinc sulphate( ZnSo4) and water. Results: linear and mass attenuation coefficient of water soluble Sulphate for distinct concentrations and anticipated from them the attenuation coefficient for compound through the use of the aggregate rule developed via Teli (1998) hooked up the validity and utility of the solution technique. This approach is simple and avoids the need of training of pure crystalline compound for experiment there via saving time and expenditure. The version of awareness of answer is made easy by using adding water to solution without changing the compound quantity in it. Conclusion: This saves the compound amount and thus in addition economizes the experiment

Tribbles-1 expression and its function to control inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin-8 levels are regulated by miRNAs in macrophages and prostate cancer cells

The pseudokinase TRIB1 controls cell function in a range of contexts, by regulating MAP kinase activation and mediating protein degradation via the COP1 ubiquitin ligase. TRIB1 regulates polarization of macrophages and dysregulated Trib1 expression in murine models has been shown to alter atherosclerosis burden and adipose homeostasis. Recently, TRIB1 has also been implicated in the pathogenesis of prostate cancer, where it is often overexpressed, even in the absence of genetic amplification. Well described TRIB1 effectors include MAP kinases and C/EBP transcription factors, both in immune cells and in carcinogenesis. However, the mechanisms that regulate TRIB1 itself remain elusive. Here, we show that the long and conserved 3’untranslated region (3’UTR) of TRIB1 is targeted by miRNAs in macrophage and prostate cancer models. By using a systematic in silico analysis, we identified multiple “high confidence” miRNAs potentially binding to the 3’UTR of TRIB1 and report that miR-101-3p and miR-132-3p are direct regulators of TRIB1 expression and function. Binding of miR-101-3p and miR-132-3p to the 3’UTR of TRIB1 mRNA leads to an increased transcription and secretion of interleukin-8. Our data demonstrate that modulation of TRIB1 by miRNAs alters the inflammatory profile of both human macrophages and prostate cancer cells

[EN] Nutritional evaluation of Coastal Bermuda grass as a sole feed was undertaken in adult male N"Z>N rabbits. There was a constant decrease (- 18g/day) in body weight of rabbits during_ the three weeks experimental period. Daily DM intake was very low (31g). Digestibilig of all the nutrients especially that of cruda protein CP) and structural carbohydrates was low : DM 52.6 %, P 48.9 % and crude fibra 26.4 %. For rabbits, digestible CP content was 5.7g in 1 OOg of DM of Coastal Bermuda grass, and calculated DE content was 2.11 Mcal/kg DM. The results of the study indicate that Coastal Bermuda grass had very poor nutritiva value for adult rabbits and could not supply adequate nutrients even for maintenance.[FR] L 'évaluation nutritionnelle du gros chiendent a été faite avec des lapins NZW adultes máles. Deshmukh, S.; Pathak, N.; Randhe, S.; Deshmukh, S. No full text
A key result giving inter-connection amongst Bernstein function, completely monotone function and Stieltjes transform is established and used to derive sufficient conditions for the closure of the class of renewal processes under inverse renewal thinning. It is further proved that the class of Cox and renewal processes is closed under inverse renewal thinning for Bernoulli thinning, truncated negative binomial and truncated Poisson thinning.

Anaesthetic management of neonate with giant occipital meningoencephalocele: Case report

    Get PDF
Meningoencephalocele is herniation of cerebrospinal fluid, brain tissue and meninges through the skull defect. The anaesthetic management of occipital meningoencephalocele is challenging because of the difficulty in securing airway, prone position, blood loss and, perioperative care. The two major aims of the anaesthesiologists while caring for children with occipital encephalocoele intraoperatively are to avoid premature rupture of the encephalocoele and to manage a possible difficult airway due to restricted neck movement and inability to achieve optimal position for intubation of the trachea. We report a case of giant occipital meningoencephalocele presented for surgical excision. Perioperative management of patients with giant meningoencephalocele may be challenging for both anaesthesiologist and neurosurgeon. These patients must be managed closely with an interdisciplinary approach

Different grape varieties in relation with leaf thickness were selected. A positive correlation was observed between biochemical changes in grape berries and yield and quality of grapes. Among the different biochemical parameters thin leaf varieties found highest reducing sugar in Maro Seedless followed by E12/2 (BB-CLB) where as the least reducing sugar was recorded in Madhu Angur. Highest protein content was recorded in Maro Seedless and least amount protein content was recorded in Kishmish, Rozavis. The phenol content in thin leaf varieties were varied significantly and highest phenol was recorded in Kishmish, Rozavis and least total phenolic recorded in Maro Seedless grapes while the highest starch content in the varieties in Maro Seedless followed by E 12/2 (BB-CLB) variety, However the Tas-A-Ganesh exhibited lower amount (2.1 mg/g) of starch. The significant differences were recorded to acidity and total soluble solids in relation to leaf thickness in different varieties. It was also observed that with increase in reducing sugar of berries and the total soluble solids in berries increased but total acidity was decreased. The highest TSS and maximum reducing sugar was recorded in variety Pearl of Csaba and Least TSS in E5-4 variety. TSS in the berries positively correlated with reducing sugar while negatively correlated with total acidity. Considering the above results, it can be concluded that the variety Pearl of Csaba (seeded, medium leaf size) were found to be superior for reducing sugar, average bunch weight, T.S.S. and yield per vine while Saperavi (seeded, thick leaf size) seems to be better in maximum phenolics, starch and yield per vine. Pearl of Csaba (seeded, medium leaf size) variety can be used as breeding line for increasing bunch weight and yield per vine. Not Availabl

The trial was conducted during the season 2016-17 in grower’s vineyard located at Pandharpur (M.S.), India. The experiment was performed on Manik Chaman grape variety which was grafted on Dogridge rootstock. Different treatments of Gibberellic acid tablets (GA3 93%) and powders (GA3 90%) were applied at flowering, 3-4 mm berry stage and 6-8 mm stage of berry development. The observations of bunch weight, 100 berry weights, berry length, TSS, Acidity and yield parameters were taken at harvest. The data showed significant differences in mean bunch weight, berry size, quality and yield parameters. The mean bunch weight was recorded maximum in GA3 tablets when applied @ 40 ppm (372 g) treatments whereas it was found lowest in no application of GA3 (235.7 g). The berry sizes, skin thickness and yield per vine were also recorded significantly highest in GA3 applied plants. No symptoms of any abnormality, toxicity were found either on the leaves, canes, shoot or in grapes berries with the application of GA3 tablets up to 80 ppm concentration. Not Availabl

Not AvailableBerry cracking, a disorder where fruit surface cracks mainly due to heavy irrigation or rain after long dry spell resulting in significant commercial losses in the table and wine grapes production. A research experiment was conducted under field conditions during the session 2016-17 at National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune to evaluate the effect of Silixol (OSA) on berry cracking in Fantasy Seedless grapes. The experiment was performed in the randomised block design, with five replications. Foliar spraying of Silixol in combination of different chemicals was applied thrice at an interval of 10 days before veraison stage. Total rainfall, temperature and humidity were also recorded timely during the experiment. Among the all treatments, T6 (Si + Ca gluconate + Boron) showed significantly lowest percentage of berry cracking followed by T8 (Si Powder + Ca gluconate + Boron) as compared to control. The quality parameters such as T.S.S. and acidity were greatly influenced by the application of Silixol. The highest total soluble solid (21.5 °β) was recorded with the application of T1 (Silixol @ 4 ml/l). Yield per hectare (20.43 t/ha) and Brix yield (234.6 t/ha) were found highest in treatment T1 (Silixol @ 4 ml/l). This approach demonstrated the ability of Silixol to reduce the berry cracking and also improve the quality of grapes. Not Availabl

International audienceGraphene Nanoribbons (GN), being an important class of next-generation carbon materials, are of immense interest and find innumerable applications in diverse fields. A variation of the generalized Lambert W function, called the Offset Logarithm function, has been found to have important applications in fields such as physics, engineering and nanotechnology. We study the electronic properties of zigzag GN and use the generalized Lambert W function to study the eigenvalue equations of the massless Dirac equation applied to zigzag GN. We have studied the effects of nanoribbon width and determined the parameters that significantly affect the obtained solutions
