The paper presents a report that discuss the experience of participation of the authors in the EduHack, an online course designed to train university teachers in the use of digital techniques and learning strategies. This study highlights two issues of great interest in pandemic times. The first one is the structure and the organization of the EduHack course with some suggestions related to its improvement; the second one is Drag&Fly, the project idea of an eLearning web platform developed by the authors during the collaborative part of the course. The experience of participation to EduHack course has been analyzed by authors using concepts and categories of analysis widespread in thecpragmatic theoretical tradition, enhancing the possibility of changing the teachers’ approach to thedesign and the implementation of a higher education e-learning course

At present e-learning courses have increased their importance but only a few universities use them, so it is crucial to explore the best ways of using this method for education. This paper is the result of a collaboration among some university teachers that recently have taken part to the EduHack course. The article aims to share their experience with a wider scientific community in order to promote a reflection on e-learning tools and methods specifically reserved for university teaching. This study highlights the structure and the organization of the EduHack course and presents Drag&Fly, the project idea developed by the authors during the collaborative part of the course, called EduHackathon. Some proposals to enhance the experience of participation are discussed by answering the following questions: What feelings did the EduHack course convey? What were its main strengths? What could be improved? Using concepts and categories of analysis widespread in the pragmatic theoretical tradition and adopting a qualitative analysis method based on the reconstruction of the experience through the participants’ observation, the Authors will analyze the learning generated by participating in the EduHack course. Its transformative potential will be investigated, as well as the possibility of changing the teachers’ approach to the design and implementation of a higher educational e-learning course

In this paper; we intend to demonstrate how Machado de Assis “translates” foreign sources into his literary system, particularly in the tale “As academias de Sião” In that case, the source is The Prince, by Machiavelli, which — although not directly referred to — functions as an essential reference for this tale, which can be ultimately considered as a fable on the nature of powerCom este artigo quer se mostrar de que forma Machado de Assis “traduz” para seu sistema literário as fontes estrangeiras, em particular no conto “As academias de Sião”. No caso a fonte é O príncipe, de Maquiavel, que, embora não aludido diretamente, serve de referência nuclear para essa história, a qual, em última instância, pode ser vista como uma fábula a respeito da natureza do pode

Role of fetal MRI in the evaluation of isolated and non-isolated corpus callosum dysgenesis: results of a cross-sectional study

PURPOSE: The aims of this study were to characterize isolated and non-isolated forms of corpus callosum dysgenesis (CCD) at fetal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and to identify early predictors of associated anomalies. METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed 104 fetuses with CCD undergoing MRI between 2006 and 2016. Corpus callosum, cavum septi pellucidi, biometry, presence of ventriculomegaly, gyration anomalies, cranio-encephalic abnormalities and body malformations were evaluated. Results of genetic tests were also recorded. RESULTS: At MRI, isolated CCD was 26.9%, the rest being associated to other abnormalities. In the isolated group, median gestational age at MRI was lower in complete agenesis than in hypoplasia (22 vs 28 weeks). In the group with additional findings, cortical dysplasia was the most frequently associated feature (P = 0.008), with a more frequent occurrence in complete agenesis (70%) versus other forms; mesial frontal lobes were more often involved than other cortical regions (P = 0.006), with polymicrogyria as the most frequent cortical malformation (40%). Multivariate analysis confirmed the association between complete agenesis and cortical dysplasia (odds ratio = 7.29, 95% confidence interval 1.51-35.21). CONCLUSIONS: CCD is often complicated by other intra-cranial and extra-cranial findings (cortical dysplasias as the most prevalent) that significantly affect the postnatal prognosis. The present study showed CCD with associated anomalies as more frequent than isolated (73.1%). In isolated forms, severe ventriculomegaly was a reliable herald of future appearance of associated features

The article provides an overview of recent production focused on the historicization of sounds and listening, present in the texts that compose the dossier História e Cultura Sonora. In general, it is possible to indicate that three major currents prevail in these works: the anglophone Sound Studies, the History of Sensibilities of French tradition and Latin American studies, which, although inspired by the previous two, strive not to confine themselves to classical discussions but to reflect on the specificities of sound production and modes of listening within their cultures. The text also evaluates the impact of phonography and the digitization of sound collections on historiographical production in the field of Sound Culture.
