Islamic Banking and Empowerment of Small Medium Enterprise

This study explores the effectiveness of developing SMEs with role of Islamic Banking in Indonesia. The study also want to prove the role of Islamic banking to help SMEs in Indonesia based on data and research. Data analysis and methods that used in this study is descriptive statistical methods. Descriptive statistics will elaborate with some explanation data and can be figured by frequency distribution and center of distribution data. The result shows that development of SMEs regarding both the number of business units, employment, and financing from Islamic banking indicates a positive direction or increased significantly. In addition, the interaction between SMEs and Islamic banking is quite close relatively but need to be upgraded. The study only gives general overview and description about positive impact from Islamic banking mechanism to stimulate SMEs in Indonesia. Pengaruh Kepemilikan Saham Manajer, Kepemilikan Saham Institusi Dan Leverage Terhadap Diversifikasi Bisnis (Studi Pada Perusahaan Property and Real Estate Di Bei Periode Tahun 2013 - 2015)

This research have purpose is to explain and determine the effect of managerial share ownership, institutional share ownership, and leverage to business diversification. The data used in the study is secondary data obtained from site www.idx.co.id. The sample selection using purposive sampling, there are 47 companies listed in this sector but selected only 39 companies, 8 others are not eligible for sampling. The independent variables used are (MNJR) Manager Ownership, (INST) Institutional Ownership ,(DER) and using the dependent variable is Herfindahl Index (HERF). The result of the research shows that the ownership of managers\u27 shares and institutional ownership has not significantly affectt in business diversification. But DER shows different results that significantly affect with the direction of the negative relationship to diversification.
