Upotreba AHP modela i rezultata ankete pri odluÄivanju o proizvodnom programu u industriji namjeÅ”taja
The paper presents a case study in which a potential investor wanted to invest into a furniture store in the part of the Republic of Croatia named Dalmatia. In four Dalmatian counties (Split, Zadar, Å ibenik and Dubrovnik counties), 220 randomly selected persons (180 answered) were asked by telephone what kind of furniture they would like to buy in the next two years and how much they were prepared to pay for the purchase. Based on the results of a consumer survey, fi ve possible alternatives (product lines) were selected and the priorities determined, i.e. which product line was the most profi table taking into account criteria of successful business operations using the multi-criteria model.U radu je prikazan studij sluÄaja na osnovi kojega potencijalni ulagaÄi mogu ulagati u prodajna mjesta namjeÅ”taja na podruÄju Dalmacije. Contribution to Research on Virtual Production in Wood Processing and Furniture Manufacturing
Virtualni organizacijski oblici poduzeÄa (strateÅ”ki savezi, partnerstva, mrežne i outsourcing veze, virtualni timovi i poduzeÄa) u suvremenom globalnom poslovanju postaju dominantni. Virtualne organizacije jedinstvenoga hijerarhijskog ustroja omoguÄuju racionalizaciju troÅ”kova poslovanja, efikasnije iskoriÅ”tenje postojeÄih kapaciteta i fleksibilnost u odgovorima na izazove tržiÅ”ta.
Ako žele opstati u globalnom okruženju, hrvatska se poduzeÄa za preradu drva i proizvodnju namjeÅ”taja moraju specijalizirati za podruÄja u kojima mogu postiÄi vrhunske svjetske rezultate i na njima temeljiti daljnje zajedniÄko poslovanje, razvijajuÄi i njegujuÄi partnerske odnose s komplementarnim poslovnim partnerima. Proces transformacije (virtualizacije) hrvatskih poduzeÄa za preradu drva i proizvodnju namjeÅ”taja teÄe sporo i uz dosta strateÅ”kih
pogreÅ”aka koje dovode do kriznih situacija i propasti poduzeÄa. Znatnija primjena koncepta virtualne organizacije na mikrorazini omoguÄila bi bržu i bezbolniju transformaciju klasiÄnih poduzeÄa, dok bi na makrorazini poveÄala konkurentnost cijeloga drvnog kompleksa.Virtual organizational forms of enterprises (strategic alliances, partnerships, networks and outsourcing connections, virtual teams and enterprises) become dominant in a modern global business world. Virtual organizations of unique hierarchy structure can provide the rationalization of business costs, more effective use of the existing capacities and flexibility in responding to market demands. If the Croatian wood processing and furniture manufacturing enterprises want to survive on a global market they
have to get specialized in areas in which they can achieve top world results and based on such results develop their further business activities focusing their interest on partnerships with complementary business partners. Transformation process (virtualization) of the Croatian wood processing and furniture manufacturing enterprises is slow and accompanied with a lot of strategic errors, which can often cause crisis situations and closing of enterprises. Significant use of virtual organization concept would provide quicker and less painful transformation of traditional enterprises at a micro-level and increase competitiveness of the whole wood sector at a macro-level
Analiza uporabe drvnih proizvoda u Sloveniji i Hrvatskoj
In this paper, we compare consumer perceptions and attitudes in the wood products sectors in Slovenia and Croatia presenting them on the basis of a random sample of Slovenian and Croatian citizens between the age of 25 and 65. Data were collected using the computer assisted telephone interviewing method (CATI). The results suggest that, generally, there is a positive perception regarding the use of wood in both countries. The study results can potentially be a good basis for creating awareness-raising campaigns on the advantages of using wood in both countries.U ovom su radu usporeÄene percepcije i stajaliÅ”ta potroÅ”aÄa u sektoru drvnih proizvoda Slovenije i Hrvatske, a prikazane su na temelju sluÄajnog uzorka slovenskih i hrvatskih državljana u dobi izmeÄu 25 i 65 godina. Prikupljanje podataka provedeno je uz pomoÄ raÄunala primjenom metode telefonskog intervjuiranja (CATI). Rezultati pokazuju da, opÄenito, postoji pozitivna percepcija o uporabi drva u obje zemlje. Rezultati istraživanja potencijalno mogu biti dobro polaziÅ”te za kampanju podizanja svijesti o prednostima uporabe drva u Sloveniji i Hrvatskoj
Insurance Models of Wood Sector Companies
Ciljevi istraživanja bili su utvrditi kako su osigurane tvrtke drvnog sektora i od kojih se opasnosti osiguravaju. Promatrani su parametri bili: struktura osiguranja, veliÄina tvrtki, tehnoloÅ”ke moguÄnosti s odreÄenom potrebom njihova osiguranja te ukupna sigurnost tvrtki drvog sektora koja se odnosi na imovinu i imovinske interese. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako se drvne tvrtke koriste uslugama osiguravajuÄih druÅ”tava, ali ne dovoljno. Pokazalo se kako osigurane tvrtke koje su pretrpjele velike Å”tete imaju veÄe izglede za sanaciju Å”teta te kako je poželjno da se primjene odreÄeni modeli osiguranja jer je troÅ”ak premije osiguranja u strukturi ukupnih troÅ”kova gotovo zanemariv i nije poželjno na tome Å”tedjeti jer osiguranje donosi potrebnu sigurnost, koja je nužna u tvrtkama drvnog sektora. Analizom i usporedbom dobivenih rezultata predstavljeni su i obrazloženi modeli osiguranja koji Äe biti najuÄinkovitiji.The research goals were to determine how the wood sector companies were insured and which risks were covered by insurance. The following parameters were studied: the structure of insurance, company size, technological capabilities requiring insurance coverage, and the overall security of wood sector companies with respect to property and property interests. The results have shown that the wood sector companies use the services of insurance companies but not to a suffi cient extent. It has been shown that companies that had suffered great damage have greater security for the recovery of damage. It has also been shown that insurance models should be applied since the share of insurance premium costs in the total cost structure is almost negligible and that saving on these costs is not desirable taking into consideration that it brings the necessary security to the wood sector companies. By analyzing and comparing the obtained results, insurance models that would be the most effective have been presented and elaborated
