    Netnography Studies in Indonesia and International Youtube Community at 411 Rallies in Jakarta

    This study aims to find how online users interpret the 411 rallies in Indonesia either from international or national community in YouTube. The long-term goal of this study is to discover how the characteristics of meaning and commentary on the international and national community. While the specific target in this research is to find how the construction of opinions constructed by the campaign team of Jakarta governor’s candidates and the citizen’s response to 411 rallies. The study is using netnography analysis from Robert Kosicki, because netnography is able to dissect the meaning of the existing community in online media. The data comes from the YouTube selected based on the title of the demonstration case on 4 november 2016 in Jakarta. The data is titled "Documentary 411, Jakarta - Indonesia" and "Indonesia: Thousands rally against blasphemy in Jakarta". After going through the process of data selection, then the data will be analyzed using Kosick’s netnography method to find out how the Youtube community define rallies from the impressions on YouTube. The results of this study are expected to add insight in the field of meaning object in the online media, especially on netnography method

    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pemasaran Kementerian Pariwisata Republik Indonesia terkait dalam mempromosikan 10 Destinasi Pariwisata Prioritas, berdasarkan teori strategi humas Elvinaro Ardianto dan strategi komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata Burhan Bungin. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus, dilengkapi dengan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini membahas menganai strategi komunikasi pemasaran Kementerian Pariwisata Republik Indonesia dalam mempromosikan 10 Destinasi Pariwisata Prioritas kepada wisatawan mancanegara dari strategi humas yaitu Publikasi, Event, dan News. Selain itu juga ada strategi pull dimana strategi ini menggunakan kampanye Explore Futher Wonderful Indonesia  melalui media elektronik, cetak, dan media sosial, untuk strategi push  dimana strategi ini Kementerian Pariwisata menerbitkan brosur, booklet, leaflet, dan calendar of event. Dari hasil penelitian, bahwa pelaksanaan Asisten Deputi Strategi dan Komunikasi Pemasaran 1 dalam mempromosikan 10 Destinasi Pariwisata Prioritas sudah cukup baik, namun harus di tingkatkan

    People in the modern age are accustomed with the internet. Media social begin evolve directly proportional with the development of the internet. User is easy to comment in every moment from social media. This research aims to compare the comment between Indonesia and international in Youtube community for the panama paper cases. The research used qualitative approach with Netnography method. There are two source for this research which is from indonesia video Youtube with title “inilah nama – nama pejabat RI dalam panama papers” and international video Youtube with title “The Panama Papers: Victims of Offshore”. From those source, the research select comment from user and compare between both of them. The result of the research is indonesia user connecting panama papes cases with Jakarta governor election while international user connecting panama papers with the Syria war and corruption nation which is UK and USA

    Media Convergence of Indonesian House Representative Television

    The development of media convergence affects almost all the publication and broadcasting practices, including special media managed by the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR). This article explores the practices of media management and communication patterns in DPR News Bureau. The research uses Dailey's media convergence model, namely the convergence of continuum model. Using case study method, we observe closely how staff's behavior and communication patterns among the media divisions of DPR. Interview conducted to find out how the editors run media management in providing information to the audience. The results showed that the editorial management of DPR media has applied the integrated media convergence; from collecting information, producing news to distributing the content.
