    Komposisi bentuk tanpa keanekaragaman dapat menimbulkan kemonotonan. Keanekaragaman tanpa aturan menimbulkan kekacauan. Sehingga diperlukan prisip-prinsip desain sebagai acuan dasar dalam mengkomposisikan bentuk agar sebuah bangunan terarah penyusunannya. Beberapa prinsip desain untuk menghasilkan komposisi yang baik antara lain kesatuan, proporsi, keseimbangan, irama dan titik berat.Masjid Noor adalah salah satu bangunan yang berada di kawasan perdagangan pusatkotaBanjarmasin. Prinsip-prinsip desain yang diterapkan pada masjid Noor adalah :Prinsip kesatuan dicapai dengan elemen-elemen visual tekstur, warna, pengarahan, padat dan rongga, bentuk dan wujud yang dikomposisikan tanpa menimbulkan kekacauan.Prinsip proporsi dicapai melalui perbandingan antara dimensi qubah dan jendela dengan badan bangunan yang secara visual keseluruhan terlihat proporsional.Prinsip keseimbangan pada masjid Noor berupa keseimbangan formal (simetris)Prinsip irama dicapai dengan Perulangan bentuk jendela yang diakhiri dengan Perubahan bentuk jendela dengan kemiripan untuk menghilangkan kemonotonan, dan juga dicapai dengan garis yang tidak terputus dari susunan jendela pada fasade bangunan.Prinsip titik berat dicapai dengan dimensi qubah yang besar sehingga kelihatan mencolok pada bagian atas tengah bangunan dan artikulasi pada sudut badan bangunan yang dijadikan penekana

    Drawing studio at Program Study of Architecture of UNLAM at this moment was felt unsupported the studying process if evaluated from the available space concerning the moving space requirement, equipment of support facility ( for example the drawing desk, desk, locker, etc.), the furniture arrangement situation regarding the human being movement circulation. This study conducted in order to get a good drawing studio condition evaluated from equipment of furniture facility, moving space requirement and the furniture arrangement situation move and location arrange the furniture situation to amenity the circulation movement of people.Data analysing will be using comparison method and rule about equipment of furniture facility, the furniture arrangement and space between furniture in the standard regulation become the reference to be compared to existing condition. Data obtained by this study was the form of qualitative data and quantitative data will be analysed qualitative in the form of studio layout drawing.Base to the conducted study hence obtained the conclusion that equipment of furniture facility was lack in number, the existing furniture arrangement of drawing studio at this moment did not support the good atmosphere needed, and existing moving space available for circulation in this time did not reach the standard regulation requirement. Overall evaluation concerning the equipment of furniture facility, the furniture arrangement, and standard moving space circulation compared to the existing moving space, and also number of student, hence obtained the conclusion that wide of drawing studio at this moment cannot served the comfortable activity needed

    Identifikasi Entomopatogen Bakteri Merah Pada Wereng Batang Coklat (Nilaparvata Lugens Stål.)

    Indentification of Entomopathogenic Red Bacterial fromBrown Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stål.). Tri P.Priyatno, Yohana A. Dahliani, Yadi Suryadi, I MadeSamudra, Dwi N. Susilowati, Iman Rusmana, Baskoro S.Wibowo, and Cahyadi Irwan. Red bacteria isolated frombrown planthopper (BPH) has been proven pathogenicagainst BPH and others insects. Application of 106 to 107cells/ml of red bacteria caused 65.6-78.2% mortality of BPH.The 50% effective concentration (EC50) and lethal time of redbacteria against BPH is 2.8 x 105 cells/ml and 6.8 days,respectively. Based on phenotypic characters tested on GNMicroPlateTM Biolog kit and 16S rRNA sequneces analysis,red bacteria was identified as Serratia marcescens with 99%similarity. Red pigmen produced by S. marcescens strainBPH is secondary metabolite determined as prodigiosinshowing bactericidal activities against Xanthomonas oryzaepv. oryzae. We concluded that S. marcescens did not onlypotent as biocontrol agent to BPH, but also it can be used tocontrol plant pathogenic bacteria
