The Degree of Using Authentic Evaluation by International Schools Teachers in the Middle Schools from Their Viewpoint in Aljama ‘a District
This study aimed to identify the degree of using of authentic evaluation by teachers of international schools in the middle school from the viewpoint of the teachers themselves in Aljama ‘a district. The study used the descriptive approach, through the development of the study tool, which is a questionnaire consisting of 50 paragraphs distributed in (5) fields, after confirming its sincerity and consistency. The sample of the study consisted of 360 male and female teachers of the middle school, who were chosen from international schools in Aljama ‘a district. The results of the study showed that the degree of use of international school teachers to realistic evaluation in the middle school from the point of view of the teachers themselves was high, as it showed the presence of a statistically significant difference in the degree of use of international school teachers due to the gender variable in favor of females, and the absence of a statistically significant difference attributed to the variable (experience) and the interaction between the two variables (gender and experience), and the absence of statistically significant differences attributed to the variable for academic specialization. The study suggested several recommendations, the most important of which is to enhance and encourage teachers to use realistic evaluation as an alternative to traditional evaluation because it has a great impact in increasing the interaction between the teacher and the student and thus increasing the desired results from the education process. Productivity and Meat Quality with Meat Goat Management
The growth of kid meat goats and their carcass and meat characteristics with monensin sodium or decoquinate coccidiostats in feed were studied. Seventy-three goats of various breeds were divided into six groups with the treatments of control, monensin and decoquinate. Half of the goats were harvested at day 45 and the rest at day 60. The second harvest monensin group had a larger percentage of the goat carcass as the hind leg (P

Ensaios sobre relatórios de biodiversidade na contabilidade
Over the years, biodiversity reporting has received increasing interest due to its
importance in understanding our environmental impact. The loss of biodiversity has
garnered attention from the accounting academic community, especially where
accounting for biodiversity is of concern. Considering the present research gap on
biodiversity accounting, this thesis aims to investigate companies' biodiversity
accounting reporting practices to address the looming threat of biodiversity loss faced by
the world.
The first essay carried out a bibliometric analysis of emerging and relevant publications
on biodiversity reporting in accounting. This study synthesized previous works of
literature on biodiversity reporting in accounting using bibliometric analysis and covering
the period of 1996-2023. The data was collected using Scopus and Web of Science
(WoS) databases to ascertain the publications, countries, authors, keywords, and
journals that have contributed to the body of knowledge. VOSviewer and Biblioshiny
were both used as visual output for ascertaining relevant data points and interpretations.
The findings showed that biodiversity reporting in accounting is still an emerging topic,
with continued maturing interests. This study concluded by highlighting the main trends
in research on biodiversity reporting and offered potential opportunities for future
research on this research topic.
The second essay examined the biodiversity reporting practices of the top 100
manufacturing companies within the European Union (EU). This study used content
analysis to explore and investigate the disclosure themes in the sustainability (and its
equivalents) reports for the period of 2019-2021. The results showed that reporting on
biodiversity is still limited but nascent. There has been an increased reporting on
biodiversity from 2019 to 2021 - during the COVID-19 pandemic - with more uptake in
disclosures from the sampled companies. Contrary to expectations, companies with
larger operating revenue within the sample did not demonstrate significant reporting
compared to those trailing in operating revenue. To the best of our knowledge, this study
was the first to explore biodiversity reporting and disclosure practices of the
manufacturing sector in the EU. The findings contributed to the discussion on
biodiversity reporting practices, especially in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The
results are helpful for policymakers, academic researchers, and stakeholders seeking to
promote biodiversity reporting in organisations.
The third essay explored the corporate reports published by companies to investigate
the extent of species disclosures by the top Fortune Global companies. This study used
content analysis to explore and investigate the level of species disclosures in the reports
for the reporting year of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic era, by the top 250 Fortune
Global companies. The results revealed that species reporting still needs to be improved
by the top companies across different regions and sectors. Furthermore, the companies'
reports were found to be riddled with preferences for highly charismatic and popular
species aligning with the impression management theory. Moreover, the results showed
a positive correlation between companies from high biodiversity risk sectors and the
extent of species published within the reports. The findings contributed to the discussion
on biodiversity reporting practices, especially in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, and
the importance of businesses working with the environment to prevent species
extinction.
Scopus e Web of Science (WoS) para verificar as publicações, países, autores, palavras-chave e
Tanto quanto é do
