Environnements sédimentaires des quartz de la série paléocène du dôme de Diass (Sénégal oriental)

L'exoscopie des quartz à la base de la série paléocène du Dôme de Diass a permis, d'une part de reconstituer leurs milieux d'évolution et d'autre part d'avoir une idée sur les conditions climatiques qui ont présidé à leur dépôt. Les traces d'action mécanique montrent que ce sédiment est d'origine éolienne. Au cours de la transgression paléocène, il a évolué vers les domaines inter et infratidaux. Etude de l’activité antioxydante des extraits des feuilles de Vitex doniana (Verbenacea)

L’objectif de la présente étude était d’évaluer l’activité antioxydante des extraits des feuilles de Vitex doniana par spectrophotométrie en utilisant les méthodes de piégeage des radicaux libres 2,2-diphényl-1- picryl-hydrazyle (DPPH•) et acide 2,2’-azino-bis-(3-éthylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonique) (ABTS+•). Une extraction éthanolique des feuilles de Vitex doniana a été effectuée au Soxhlet. L’extrait sec recueilli a été redissout dans de l’eau puis fractionné en utilisant successivement de l’hexane, du dichlorométhane et de l’acétate d’éthyle. Les propriétés antioxydantes de l’extrait éthanolique et celles de ses différentes fractions ont été évaluées aux concentrations de 2,5 ; 10 ; 100 et 200 μg/mL. Les pourcentages d’inhibition (PI) expriment l’effet antioxydant mesuré. L’extrait éthanolique et ses différentes fractions ont présenté une activité de piégeage des deux radicaux libres. Lors des tests d’inhibition de l’absorbance du radical DPPH•, les PI ont varié de (18,15±0,01)% pour la fraction hexanique (2,5 μg/mL) à (92,45±0,01)% pour la fraction d’acétate d’éthyle (100 μg/mL). Avec le radical ABTS+•, les PI ont varié de (52,76±0,05)% pour la fraction hexanique (2,5 μg/mL) à (98,27±0,12)% pour la fraction d’acétate d’éthyle (100 μg/mL). Ainsi, l’extrait éthanolique des feuilles de Vitex doniana et ses différentes fractions possèdent un pouvoir antioxydant significatif.Mots clés : Activité antioxydante, DPPH, ABTS, Vitex doniana

In the title compound, (C12H24N)[Sn(CH3)3(C6H6O3P)2], the SnMe3 residues are axially coordinated by two monodentate [PhPO3H]− anions, leading to a trigonal–bipyramidal geometry for the SnIV atom. The two [SnMe3(PhPO3H)2]− anions in the unit cell are associated into infinite chains along the a axis by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving the hy­droxy group of the hydrogen phenyl­phospho­nate ion. The chains inter­act with one another via O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds along the c axis. Development and validation of a simple and economical spectrofluorimetric method for estimation of quinine in pharmaceutical dosage forms

A new simple, sensitive, precise, economic and “green” spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of quinine both as a bulk drug and in tablet formulations was developed and validated using water as solvent. At a predetermined excitation wavelength (330 nm) and emission wavelength (380 nm), it was proved linear in the concentration range of 50-500 ng/mL, exhibited good correlation coefficient (R2= 0.999) and excellent mean recovery (97.5-103%). The results of the recovery studies showed that the method was not affected by the presence of common excipients. The method was applied for the analysis of the drug in the pure, tablet and injectable forms. The method was validated for precision, accuracy and recovery studies. Limit of Detection and Limit of Quantification for quinine were found to be 16.6 ng/mL and 19.8 ng/mL respectively. Associative islamic movement in Ile-de-France - The growth of religious organisations has become a new issue as far as migrants' groupings are concerned in France. The former defined themselves as the bulk identity makers of the muslim migrant populations, and thus try and set the line, by using various types of policy, either in the cultural field or in the political, say, symbolic ones, when negociating with the authorities at every rung of the ladder. By acting in such a way, are they building barriers between the muslim migrant populations and the native population, or rather, are they are trying to find ways and means in order to make the muslims cope with the guest society ? The paper deals with different aspects of muslim organisations: history and reasons of creation of the organisations; structuring of belongings; ways of communicating culture, language, religion; discourse on islam and its perception: relationships at local and national level.L'émergence de regroupements investissant dans le champ du sacré constitue une nouvelle donne dans l'espace associatif immigré. Ceux-ci se définissent comme sites des ressources identitaires, et, dans leur transaction avec les instances de la société d'accueil, élaborent et mettent en chantier de nouveaux schèmes d'expression culturelle, politique, symbolique. Les dirigeants de ces associations, en s'arrogeant le rôle d'« entrepreneurs identitaires », amorcent-ils une politique de marginalisation voire de repli des populations musulmanes, ou favorisent-ils un modèle d'intégration sociale ? L'article, après avoir retracé la genèse et les raisons de création de ces associations, analyse la structuration des appartenances, s'interroge sur les stratégies amorcées en vue de la transmission de la culture, langue et religion, et, d'autre part, rend compte des différents types de discours et des rapports entretenus au niveau local et national
