This monograph aims to study the application of the joint custody/shared parenting as rule, after the Law n. 13.058/2014 came into force guaranteeing parental equality. It uses the method of monographic procedure, the inductive approach method and the indirect research technique, with bibliography, documentary and jurisprudential study. Initially, it presents the custody types existint in brazilian law. Afterwards, the study relies specificly on Law n. 13.058/2014, specifying which constitucionals principles are assured by its arrival and the most important reflexions that it brings: parental alienation and obligation of maintenance. Following, the joint custody/shared parenting is examined as being necessarily applied casuistically. At last, it was delved how Santa Catarina's Court was applying the new law, verifying if the lessons of the very best researchers were respected
On the Sum of Fisher-Snedecor F Variates and its Application to Maximal-Ratio Combining
Capitalizing on the recently proposed Fisher-Snedecor F composite fading
model, in this letter, we investigate the sum of independent but not
identically distributed (i.n.i.d.) Fisher-Snedecor F variates. First, a novel
closed-form expression is derived for the moment generating function of the
instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio. Based on this, the corresponding
probability density function and cumulative distribution function of the sum of
i.n.i.d. Fisher- Snedecor F variates are derived, which are subsequently
employed in the analysis of multiple branch maximal-ratio combining (MRC).
Specifically, we investigate the impact of multipath and shadowed fading on the
outage probability and outage capacity of MRC based receivers. In addition, we
derive exact closed-form expressions for the average bit error rate of coherent
binary modulation schemes followed by an asymptotic analysis which provides
further insights into the effect of the system parameters on the overall
performance. Importantly, it is shown that the effect of multipath fading on
the system performance is more pronounced than that of shadowing.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure
Tunable pseudogap Kondo effect and quantum phase transitions in Aharonov-Bohm interferometers
We study two quantum dots embedded in the arms of an Aharonov-Bohm ring
threaded by a magnetic flux. The system can be described by an effective
one-impurity Anderson model with an energy- and flux-dependent density of
states. For specific values of the flux, this density of states vanishes at the
Fermi energy, yielding a controlled realization of the pseudogap Kondo effect.
The conductance and transmission phase shifts reflect a nontrivial interplay
between wave interference and interactions, providing clear signatures of
quantum phase transitions between Kondo and non-Kondo ground states.Comment: Published versio

From Stochastic Differential Equations to Quantum Field Theory
Covariant stochastic partial (pseudo-)differential equations are studied in
any dimension. In particular a large class of covariant interacting local
quantum fields obeying the Morchio-Strocchi system of axioms for indefinite
quantum field theory is constructed by solving the analysed equations. The
associated random cosurface models are discussed and some elementary properties
of them are outlined.Comment: 11 pages, Latex, to appear in: Reports On Mathematical Physics No.X

Control of polymorphism in coronene by the application of magnetic fields
Coronene, a polyaromatic hydrocarbon, has been crystallized for the first
time in a different polymorph using a crystal growth method that utilizes
magnetic fields to access a unit cell configuration that was hitherto unknown.
Crystals grown in magnetic field of 1 T are larger, have a different appearance
to those grown in zero field and retain their structure in ambient conditions.
We identify the new form, beta-coronene, as the most stable at low
temperatures. As a result of the new supramolecular configuration we report
significantly altered electronic, optical and mechanical properties.Comment: 32 pages, 17 figure
Transmission in double quantum dots in the Kondo regime: Quantum-critical transitions and interference effects
We study the transmission through a double quantum-dot system in the Kondo
regime. An exact expression for the transmission coefficient in terms of fully
interacting many-body Green's functions is obtained. By mapping the system into
an effective Anderson impurity model, one can determine the transmission using
numerical renormalization-group methods. The transmission exhibits signatures
of the different Kondo regimes of the effective model, including an unusual
Kondo phase with split peaks in the spectral function, as well as a
pseudogapped regime exhibiting a quantum critical transition between Kondo and
unscreened phases.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures; Submitted to Physica E (EP2DS-17 proceedings,

The Survey of Lines in M31 (SLIM): The Drivers of the [CII]/TIR Variation
The ratio of the [CII] 158m emission line over the total infrared
emission (TIR) is often used as a proxy for the photoelectric (PE) heating
efficiency () of the far-ultraviolet (FUV) photons absorbed
by dust in the interstellar medium. In the nearby galaxy M31, we measure a
strong radial variation of [CII]/TIR that we rule out as being due to an
intrinsic variation in . [CII]/TIR fails as a proxy for
, because the TIR measures all dust heating, not just the
contribution from FUV photons capable of ejecting electrons from dust grains.
Using extensive multiwavelength coverage from the FUV to far-infrared (FIR), we
infer the attenuated FUV emission (), and the total attenuated
flux (). We find [CII]/TIR to be strongly correlated with /, indicating that, in M31 at least, one of the
dominant drivers for [CII]/TIR variation is the relative hardness of the
absorbed stellar radiation field. We define ,
[CII]/ which should be more closely related to the actual PE
efficiency, which we find to be essentially constant () in all
explored fields in M31. This suggests that part of the observed variation of
[CII]/TIR in other galaxies is likely due to a change in the relative hardness
of the absorbed stellar radiation field, caused by a combination of variations
in the stellar population, dust opacity and galaxy metallicity, although PE
efficiency may also vary across a wider range of environments.Comment: 19 pages, 16 figures, accepted for publication in Ap
