Intuitionistic Partition based Conceptual Granulation Topic-Term Modeling

    Get PDF
Document Analysis represented in vector space model is often used in information retrieval, topic analysis, and automatic classification. However, it hardly deals with fuzzy information and decision-making problems. To account this, Intuitionistic partition based cosine similarity measure between topic/terms and correlation between document/topic are proposed for evaluation. Conceptual granulation is emphasized in the decision matrix expressed conventionally as tf-idf. A local clustering of topic-terms and document-topics results in comparing dependent terms with membership degree using cosine similarity measure and correlation. A preprocessing of documents with intuitionistic fuzzy sets results in efficient classification of large corpus. But it depends on the datasets chosen. The proposed method effectively works well with large sized categorized corpus

Despite the fact that there are many applications for analyzing and recreating the audio through existinglip movement recognition, the researchers have shown the interest in developing the automatic lip-readingsystems to achieve the increased performance. Modelling of the framework has been playing a major role inadvance yield of sequential framework. In recent years there have been lot of interest in Deep Neural Networks(DNN) and break through results in various domains including Image Classification, Speech Recognition andNatural Language Processing. To represents complex functions DNNs are used and also they play a vital rolein Automatic Lip Reading (ALR) systems. This paper mainly focuses on the traditional pixel, shape and mixedfeature extractions and their improved technologies for lip reading recognitions. It highlights the mostimportant techniques and progression from end-to-end deep learning architectures that were evolved duringthe past decade. The investigation points out the voice-visual databases that are used for analyzing and trainthe system with the most common words and the count of speakers and the size, length of the language andtime duration. On the flip side, ALR systems developed were compared with their old-style systems. Thestatistical analysis is performed to recognize the characters or numerals and words or sentences in English andcompared their performances

ANTIPROLIFERATIVE EFFECTS OF PSIDIUM GUAJAVA LEAF EXTRACT ON ORAL SQUAMOUS CARCINOMA CELLS

Objective: Cancer is the major cause of mortality affecting population irrespective of age. Oral cancer is one among the various cancers affecting major population in India. To overcome toxicity of chemotherapy and disfiguration by surgical procedures, researchers are targeting phytochemicals for their anticancer properties. This study evaluates the antiproliferative effects of Psidium guajava leaf extract against OSC cells. Methods: KB cells were purchased from NCCS, Pune. Extract from leaves of P. guajava was prepared with ethanol and evaluated with high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC). Antiproliferative effects of the extract were assessed with 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl--tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay and flow cytometry. Results: HPTLC revealed the presence of quercetin in the extract. MTT assay showed decreasing pattern in cell viability with the increasing dose of extract. Flow cytometry revealed the seizing of cycle by the extract. Conclusion: The study results conclude the presence of antiproliferative properties in the leaf extract of P. guajava

Proline-catalysed asymmetric ketol cyclizations: the template mechanism revisited

    Get PDF
A modified template mechanism based on modelling studies of energy minimised complexes is presented for the asymmetric proline-catalysed cyclization of triketones1,2 and3 to the 2S,3S-ketols1a,2a and3a respectively. The template model involves a three-point contact as favoured in enzyme-substrate interactions. Our minimisation studies are in agreement with the divergent behaviour of the 6,5-, 6,6-and 6,7-bicyclic systems. They support the high 93.4%ee observed with the 6,5-bicyclic ketol and the lower 73%ee found with the 6,6-bicyclic ketol. The calculations also explain the lack of asymmetric induction with the 6,7-bicyclic system

CSRR Loaded 2x1 Triangular MIMO Antenna for LTE Band Operation

    Get PDF
A 2´1 (two-element) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) patch antenna system is designed and fabricated for (2.43 – 2.57) GHz LTE band 7 operation. It uses comple-mentary split -ring resonator (CSRR) loading on its ground plane for antenna miniaturization. This reduces the single-element antenna size by 76%. The total board size of the proposed MIMO antenna system, including the GND plane is 50´50´0.8mm3, while the single-patch antenna element has a size of 18.5 ´16mm2. The antenna is fabricated and tested. Measured results are in good agreement with simulations. A minimum measured isolation of 10 dB is obtained given the close interelement spacing of 0.17λ
