    The Relationship Analysis between Service Performances of Milk Producer Cooperative with the Dairy Farm Performance of Members

    The main objective of Milk Producers Cooperative (MPC) is to provide services to the members and improve the performance of dairy farm of MPC members. The purposes of this study were: (1) to analyze dairy farm performance of MPC members, (2) to analyze performance of MPC services, and (3) to analyze the relationship between service performance of MPC with dairy farm performance of MPC members. The main data used were primary data. The analytical methods used included: descriptive analysis, profit analysis and R/C Ratio, and Chi-Square. The study showed that productivity and profitability of large-scale dairy farm was higher than small-scale. The performance of small-scale dairy farm of MPC members was relatively low both in terms of productivity and profitability. Most members judged that the performance of MPC services was good. There was a positive relationship between the MPC service performance (milk marketing, finance, technical assistance, and education/training) with the performance of dairy farm of MPC members. Coaching and more intensive services should continue to be given by the MPC to the members, especially the members with the small-scale dairy farms

    Variation Of Concentration On Viability Probiotics Powder Coating Effervescent Tablets

    Efforts to increase shrimp production one through the use of probiotics. To maintain the viability of probiotic bacteria it is necessary need to protect bacteria by coating maltodextrin. Next will be molded into effervescent tablets to more intensive in the protection of probiotic bacteria. This study aimed to test the viability (the number of bacteria and soluble) probiotic that has been modified into effervescent tablets with variation in the concentrations of the coating. The method used is an experimental method in which samples of shrimp pond water will be increased 4 effervescent tablets (Formula I, II, III, IV) with 3 coating concentrations of 20%, 30%, and 40% maltodextrin. Each treatment be repeated two times. To determine the concentration of effervescent tablet coating formula is most effective test TPC (Total Plate Count) and the test of time to dissolve. Based on the test showed that the viability (number of bacteria and soluble time) probiotics in effervescent tablets with a coating of maltodextrin the best and the most effective in maintaining the stability of bacteria is of formula IV with a concentration of 30% by number of bacteria of 6.46 log CFU / mL and soluble within 20 menit. tatistical tests, the coating concentration factor (P) and the effervescent tablet formula (Q) has significant effect (p <0.05)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi serangan hama kepik hijau (N. viridula) dan kepik coklat (R. linearis) pada tanaman kacang kedelai di rumah kassa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara pada bulan September sampai dengan Desember 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok nonfaktorial yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu Kontrol, R. linearis dan N. viridula dengan 9 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas serangan hama R. linearis lebih tinggi dibanding N. viridula. Hal ini terlihat dengan persentase serangan tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan R. linearis yaitu 81,36%. Jumlah populasi telur dan nimfa tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan R. linearis dengan rata-rata 16,00 butir dan 8,11 ekor. Tingkat produksi pada perlakuan R. linearis sebesar 13,92 g. Sedangkan pada perlakuan N. viridula dan kontrol, persentase serangannya sebesar 51,66% dan 0,00%. Jumlah populasi telur dan nimfa pada perlakuan N. viridula dan kontrol sebesar 10,22 ; 0,00 butir dan 5,00 ; 0,00 ekor. Tingkat produksi pada perlakuan kontrol dan N. viridula sebesar 26,41 g dan 16,73 g

    PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of financial services the largest and has the most extensive network in Indonesia. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia has also been successfully serving the financial needs of the Indonesian people's for 119 years. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk in providing services to their customers should be as optimal as possible so that they are satisfied. But in reality there is no indication of customer dissatisfaction over the quality of services provided by BRI Unit Ngesrep Semarang.The purpose of the research was to determine the extent to which the level of customer satisfaction BRI Unit Ngesrep Semarang on the quality of services provided to customers. The type of this research is descriptive analytical. The sample in this research were 98 respondents who are customers of savings simpedes at PT. BRI (Persero) Tbk Unit Ngesrep Semarang. The research data was collected using interview techniques, while the research instrument using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Importance and Performance Analysis. Based on the Importance and Performance Analysis, then be conclusion that the average total for the dimension of quality of service is 86,27 % include in the category are satisfied.Advice can be given for the company is to maximize the suggestion box, improving the condition of the parking BRI Unit Ngesrep Semarang, increase comfort lounge area and increase the speed of the queuing system

    Keragaan Produksi Susu dan Efisiensi USAha Peternakan Sapi Perah Rakyat di Indonesia

    The main issue in the dairy farm business managed by the communities is the relatively low efficiency level of the businesses run by some of the farmers. The research objectives were to analyze the performance of dairy farm business, factors that influence dairy production, and technical efficiency level of the community dairy farm businesses in Indonesia. The research was conducted by surveys so that the primary data from the samples of farmers\u27 households were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The analytical method used in this study was the stochastic frontier production function. The results of the analysis showed that the number of the lactating cows raised in small-scaled farm businesses decreased from the previous year; on the other hand, the number of the lactating cows in large-scaled farm businesses increased. Meanwhile, the average milk productions have declined in both small and large-scaled farm businesses. The results of the analysis of the stochastic frontier production function showed that forage fodder input (HMT), concentrates, employment and number of lactating cows are influential factors on milk production.Thus, the efficiency analysis suggests that the level of technical efficiency of large-scaled farm businesses is higher than that of the small-scaled farm businesses, while the efficiency distribution is predominantly in the range of 0,80 to 1,00, which means that most farm businesses have achieved a high level of technical efficiency. The individual factors from the farmers which are influential in decreasing business inefficiency include age and education level; on the contrary, the influences of experience and ownership of the garden affect the efficiency in the opposite way

    The aim of this research was to know effective concentrationof M. anisopliae and HaNPV to Helicoperva armigera in the field. This research was carried out in Desa Tanjung Makmur Subdistrict Tandem Hulu 1 District Deli Serdang. This research used sampling random technique non factorial with seven treatments and four replications. They were the result showed that the highest larvae population was control (1.35) and the lowest was HaNPV 6g/liter of water (0.10). The highest of attacked intensity was control (38.75% ) and the lowest was HaNPV 6g/liter of water (2.50%). The highest production was HaNPV 6g/liter of water (261.09 g) and the lowest was M. anisopliae 4g/liter of water(234.45 g)
