Baryon and Antibaryon production at RHIC energies in the Dual Parton Model
We compute the mid-rapidity densities of pions, kaons, baryons and
antibaryons in -- collisions at = 130 GeV in the Dual Parton
Model supplemented with final state interactions, and we present a comparison
with available data.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures. Talk given at XXXVII Rencontres de Moriond, Les

Monte Carlo model for nuclear collisions from SPS to LHC energies
A Monte Carlo model to simulate nuclear collisions in the energy range going
from SPS to LHC, is presented. The model includes in its initial stage both
soft and semihard components, which lead to the formation of color strings.
Collectivity is taken into account considering the possibility of strings in
color representations higher than triplet or antitriplet, by means of string
fusion. String breaking leads to the production of secondaries. At this point,
the model can be used as initial condition for further evolution by a transport
model. In order to tune the parameters and see the results in nucleus-nucleus
collisions, a naif model for rescattering of secondaries is introduced. Results
of the model are compared with experimental data, and predictions for RHIC and
LHC are shown.Comment: LaTeX, 48 pages, 6 tables, 15 postscript figures included using

On the Nonlinear Impulsive --Hilfer Fractional Differential Equations
In this paper, we consider the nonlinear -Hilfer impulsive fractional
differential equation. Our main objective is to derive the formula for the
solution and examine the existence and uniqueness of results. The acquired
results are extended to the nonlocal -Hilfer impulsive fractional
differential equation. We gave an applications to the outcomes we procured.
Further, examples are provided in support of the results we got.Comment: 2
Scale insects (Hemiptera: Coccoidea) of ornamental plants from Sao Carlos, Sao Paulo, Brazil
A list of 35 scale insects collected from 72 ornamental plant species in Sao Carlos, Sao Paulo, Brazil is provided. Regarding host specificity, 30 scale insects were polyphagous, 4 oligophagous, and 1 monophagous. A total of 102 coccoid/plant associations are recorded, 29 of which are new host records for the species; 60 are new host records for the species in Brazil. Pulvinaria urbicola Cockerell, 1893 (Coccidae), Phenacoccus similis Granara de Willink, 1983 (Pseudococcidae), and Orthezia molinarii (Morrison, 1952) (Ortheziidae) are recorded for the first time in Brazil. In addition, we describe the injury caused by scale insects on ornamental plants
