This study aims to determine how the effects work conflict and work stress on job satisfaction on PT Indah logistic branch of Pekanbaru. The population in this study were employees of PT Indah logistic branch of Pekanbaru, the sampling using census method in order to get 63 votes. The data collection of primary data research, using questionnaires as the instrument research and secondary data turned away company archives, data analysis used is by using multiple linear regression, determination test, t test and f SPSS.From the results of data analysis include validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression, the results showed the calculation of the t (5.667)> t table (2,001) and Sig. (0.000) t table (2,001) and Sig. (0.000) <0.05. This means that variable significant effect on the Job Stress Job Satisfaction and based on the simultaneous test concluded that the work conflict and work stress together significant effect on employee satisfaction with the influence of 64.3%

Complete Phase Diagram of DNA Unzipping: Eye, Y-fork and triple point

    Get PDF
We study the unzipping of double stranded DNA (dsDNA) by applying a pulling force at a fraction ss (0s1)(0 \le s \le 1) from the anchored end. From exact analytical and numerical results, the complete phase diagram is presented. The phase diagram shows a strong ensemble dependence for various values of ss. In addition, we show the existence of an ``eye'' phase and a triple point.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures; revised version: misprints corrected. References corrected/added. This study aims to determine whether there are positive influence between supervision with Employee Performance At Kutai regency Bappeda office. The population in this study are all Employees who number as many as 20 people, given the relatively small amount taken, this study used census method, the entire population as a respondent. Based on the description above, the analysis tools used in this study is the product moment correlation coefficient. From the calculation results indicate a significant influence of supervision on employee performance in the Office of Regional Development Planning Agency Kutai it is based on the calculation results stating that rhitung greater than rtabel namely 0.982> 0.561 for the critical value of n = 20 the rate significance = 0, 01. For n = 20 then the two variables have a very strong relationship level. After the count r is obtained, then the next authors conducted hypothesis testing using t test of the results of testing this hypothesis, tcount of 22.058 while that for the prices keritis of ttable value is 2,552 which means that the t-test> t table ie 22.058> 2.552 the critical value n -20 with a significance level of 0.01 means that by doing so. It can be said that there is a very strong influence from variable to variable employee performance monitoring in Kutai regency Bappeda office

On the form of growing strings

Patterns and forms adopted by Nature, such as the shape of living cells, the geometry of shells and the branched structure of plants, are often the result of simple dynamical paradigms. Here we show that a growing self-interacting string attached to a tracking origin, modeled to resemble nascent polypeptides in vivo, develops helical structures which are more pronounced at the growing end. We also show that the dynamic growth ensemble shares several features of an equilibrium ensemble in which the growing end of the polymer is under an effective stretching force. A statistical analysis of native states of proteins shows that the signature of this non-equilibrium phenomenon has been fixed by evolution at the C-terminus, the growing end of a nascent protein. These findings suggest that a generic non-equilibrium growth process might have provided an additional evolutionary advantage for nascent proteins by favoring the preferential selection of helical structures.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures. Interactive Multimedia Applications "Know Your Computer Components" Using the Swish Max

Nowadays with the advancement of science and technology and advances in the computer world in particular, many people utilization of computer technology in all areas of life, as in the field of medical science, education and others. Computer is not just another luxury item for the middle class and above, but has become an important need in life. An ordinary computer users sometimes can only use the computer in general, they did not know more about the components in a computer. Usually to get to know more about their components in a computer search of existing books. Sometimes in a book less attractive appearance to his readers so that readers are less interested in reading. Therefore, in order to increase the interest our readers, we need a renewal, ie make a program familiar with the interactive multimedia application components of a computer, so that readers are more interested to know the ins and outs of a computer

Force-induced unfolding of a homopolymer on fractal lattice: exact results vs. mean field predictions

We study the force-induced unfolding of a homopolymer on the three dimensional Sierpinski gasket. The polymer is subject to a contact energy between nearest neighbour sites not consecutive along the chain and to a stretching force. The hierarchical nature of the lattice we consider allows for an exact treatment which yields the phase diagram and the critical behaviour. We show that for this model mean field predictions are not correct, in particular in the exact phase diagram there is {\em not} a low temperature reentrance and we find that the force induced unfolding transition below the theta temperature is second order.Comment: 15 pages, 5 eps figure

Collapsing lattice animals and lattice trees in two dimensions

We present high statistics simulations of weighted lattice bond animals and lattice trees on the square lattice, with fugacities for each non-bonded contact and for each bond between two neighbouring monomers. The simulations are performed using a newly developed sequential sampling method with resampling, very similar to the pruned-enriched Rosenbluth method (PERM) used for linear chain polymers. We determine with high precision the line of second order transitions from an extended to a collapsed phase in the resulting 2-dimensional phase diagram. This line includes critical bond percolation as a multicritical point, and we verify that this point divides the line into two different universality classes. One of them corresponds to the collapse driven by contacts and includes the collapse of (weakly embeddable) trees, but the other is {\it not yet} bond driven and does not contain the Derrida-Herrmann model as special point. Instead it ends at a multicritical point PP^* where a transition line between two collapsed phases (one bond-driven and the other contact-driven) sparks off. The Derrida-Herrmann model is representative for the bond driven collapse, which then forms the fourth universality class on the transition line (collapsing trees, critical percolation, intermediate regime, and Derrida-Herrmann). We obtain very precise estimates for all critical exponents for collapsing trees. It is already harder to estimate the critical exponents for the intermediate regime. Finally, it is very difficult to obtain with our method good estimates of the critical parameters of the Derrida-Herrmann universality class. As regards the bond-driven to contact-driven transition in the collapsed phase, we have some evidence for its existence and rough location, but no precise estimates of critical exponents.Comment: 11 pages, 16 figures, 1 tabl

This research type is explanatory research. The population in this research is the undergraduate student and POLITICAL SCIENCE UNDIP Semarang. The number of samples in the study amounted to 100 students. Sampling techniques in the study using a purposive sampling. Engineering data collection using the questionnaire and the study of the literature. The scale of measurement using Likert scale. On data analysis using simple linear regression test and test multiple regression with application programs SPSS 16.0. Results of the study suggested that there is a positive influence and strong brand image among variables of a purchase Blackberry, indicated by the coefficient of the correlation coefficients and regression 1,246 0,718 and contributing 51,67 51,67%.In addition there is a very strong and positive influence of the variable quality of products towards purchasing decision Blackberry, indicated by the coefficient of the correlation coefficients and regression 0,302 0,943 and contributes 89,0. While together the brand image and product quality has a positive influence on the buying decision of linear regression coefficients shown duality of the brand image and product quality 0,292 0,072, besides its influence is very strong, brand image and product quality together affects the purchasing decisions of the correlation coefficient is shown by the 0,944 and contributing 89.1
