Abstract. — We have measured the energy spectra of the alpha particles frcm the reactions p + B11 and d + B10, using the Saclay tandem accelerator. The energy spectra of the first reaction can be quantitatively explained if we assume that the reaction goes through the first excited state of Be8. For the second reaction, we get agreement if we take into account the first and the second excited states of Be8.Nous avons mesuré les spectres en énergie des particules alpha provenant des réactions p + 11B et d + 10B avec le tandem de Saclay. Le spectre de la première réaction peut être expliqué quantitativement en supposant une réaction en deux étapes qui passe par le premier niveau de 8Be. Pour la deuxième réaction, on obtient un accord si l'on tient compte des premier et deuxième niveaux de 8Be

Observation des réactions nucléaires. produites par des ions de lithium-6 à 5 Mev

We have studied the reaction Li6 + Li6 from 1 to 5 MeV. We find that only one cluster state with the d + Li6 structure is formed in this energy region. We have also studied the reaction Li6 + B10. We find the groups α0, α 1, α2 and α3 and a continuous spectrum with a high intensity. This seems to come from the decay of an excited state of 12C with a d + B10 structure.Un seul état d'agrégat à structure d + 6Li a été observé dans la réaction 6Li + 6Li de 1 à 5 MeV. Dans la réaction 6Li + 10B, α0, α1, α 2 et α3 ont été observés de même qu'un spectre continu très intense. Celui-ci semble provenir de la désintégration d'un état très excité de 12C à structure d + 10B

Determination of the bond strength of some microns coatings using the laser shock technique

High power laser shocks with a 0.6 ns pulse duration have been used to study the debonding of coatings electrolytically deposited on the opposite face of the substrate than the one shocked. Experiments have been carried out on various substrate/coating systems such as stainless steel/copper or nickel and hastelloy X/platinum. Experimentally, a lower intensity debonding threshold has been determined for each of these systems. On the other hand, an upper threshold above which a systematic removal of the coating is obtained has been evidenced. By the numerical simulation of these experiments, a traction range for debonding at the interface has been determined for the three systems. A significant difference for the adhesion levels of these systems has been evidenced using this method. Thus, the possibility to use the laser shock technique as a non destructive adhesion test for coatings of some tens microns is clearly demonstrated

Sur l'éclatement dissymétrique des complexes activés nucléaires produits par 6Li

We have studied the continuous spectra of alpha particles coming from the reactions 6Li + 6Li, 6Li + 7Li and 6Li + 10B. We infer that the 6Li makes with the target an activated complex which decays via the dissymetric breakup. We can explain all the measured spectra quantitatively.Les spectres continus des particules alpha produites dans les réactions 6Li + 6Li, 6Li + 7Li et 6Li + 10B ont été étudiés. On a supposé que le projectile forme avec la cible un complexe activé qui se désintègre par éclatement dissymétrique. Au moyen de ces deux hypothèses on peut expliquer quantitativement tous les spectres mesurés
