A Study on Ranking Method in Retrieving Web Pages Based on Content and Link Analysis: Combination of Fourier Domain Scoring and Pagerank Scoring

Ranking module is an important component of search process which sorts through relevant pages. Since collection of Web pages has additional information inherent in the hyperlink structure of the Web, it can be represented as link score and then combined with the usual information retrieval techniques of content score. In this paper we report our studies about ranking score of Web pages combined from link analysis, PageRank Scoring, and content analysis, Fourier Domain Scoring. Our experiments use collection of Web pages relate to Statistic subject from Wikipedia with objectives to check correctness and performance evaluation of combination ranking method. Evaluation of PageRank Scoring show that the highest score does not always relate to Statistic. Since the links within Wikipedia articles exists so that users are always one click away from more information on any point that has a link attached, it it possible that unrelated topics to Statistic are most likely frequently mentioned in the collection. While the combination method show link score which is given proportional weight to content score of Web pages does effect the retrieval results

Macroeconomic Tools for Ensuring Resilience of the Financial Corporations Sector

Research the tools for ensuring resilience of the financial corporations sector is relevant, given the fact that the development of the world economy is increasingly subject to the shock influences, to which financial crises are imposed. The aim of the article is to identify and justify macroeconomic tools according to the directions for ensuring resilience of the financial corporations sector. The theoretical-methodological base of the article is scientific works of scientists and reports of International organizationsfor directions and tools for ensuring resilience of the financial corporations sector and the economy in general. The general approaches and research methods have been used at preparing the article: theoretical generalization, analysis, synthesis and system method. The use of these methods allowed to consider approaches of leading International audit companies to understand the concept “resilience of the financial corporations”. On this basis, there was suggested the author\u27s definition of the concept “resilience of the financial corporations sector” and defined it essential characteristics. It was explained, that the process of ensuring resilience of the financial corporations sector involves the implementation of macroeconomic tools in accordance with the following areas: the introduction of economic stimulus packages, attractive lending conditions, tax and investment benefits, promoting innovation, development of compensation mechanisms, International financial support. The important attention in the study was paid to the role of the state in the process of implementing macroeconomic tools for ensuring resilience of the financial corporations sector. Attention is focused on the fact, that under shock influences the state should implement macroeconomic tools in line with current problems in the development of the financial corporations sector. This in turn will ensure its profitability at a level sufficient for normal functioning

How Should Clinicians Weigh the Benefits and Harms of Discussing Politicized Topics that Influence Their Individual Patients\u27 Health?

Health implications of politically charged phenomena are particularly difficult for physicians to discuss with their patients and communities. Addressing climate change and its associated health effects involves trade-offs between health and economic prosperity, necessitating that physicians weigh the potential benefits and risks of discussing climate change health effects. We argue that the potential benefits of physician communication and advocacy ultimately outweigh the potential risks. Therefore, physicians should be supported in their efforts to educate their patients and communities about climate change health effects. Furthermore, democratic deliberation could prove helpful in addressing disagreements among physicians within a practice about such politicized health topics

On the renormalization procedure for quantum fields with modified dispersion relation in curved spacetimes

We review our recent results on the renormalization procedure for a free quantum scalar field with modified dispersion relations in curved spacetimes. For dispersion relations containing up to $2s$ powers of the spatial momentum, the subtraction necessary to renormalize $$and$$ depends on $s$. We first describe our previous analysis for spatially flat Friedman-Robertson-Walker and Bianchi type I metrics. Implementasi Metode Dempster Shafer dan Desain Basis Data pada Sistem Pakar Diagnosa Penyakit Mata

Limited knowledge of the patient against eye disease becomes a problem and make the patient difficult to predict the eye disease he suffered. In this case, the patient will need an expert who can early diagnose eye disease in order to prevent early. The existence of an expert system can be used as a consultation medium, where expert knowledge has been transferred into the computer system can be used as the basis by the expert system in answering user questions. The steps used are state assessment, knowledge acquisition and design. This research is focused on designing rule rules and database design. The Demspter Shaffer method is used for designing rule rules and relational database used as the database model. Analisis dan Perancangan Basis Data dan Aplikasi Pegadaian pada PT Langitan Segi Putera

This article contains analysis and design of pawnshop database systems and its application design that can be used by PT Langitan Segi Putera for acquiring information about pawn goods, decision making in pawnshop system, how to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of employee performance as well as how to reduce error in data input. The methodology used in this research consists of literature study, survey, and analysis and design. The result obtained is a conceptual, logical and physical database design for pawn process in PT Langitan Segi Putera and its application that is suitable with the design. The design of database and its application meets the company requirement and improves company performance due to the availability of accurate and timely information, improvement in data security, and reduction of data redundancy

Kajian terhadap Perilaku Pengguna Sistem Informasi Menggunakan Model Utaut

This research, review of behavioral intention and use behavior of users of information systems by using UTAUT Model. Respondents were employees in the city of Palembang males (63.3%) and females (36.66%) from 120 respondents. The questionnaire has a scale of 1 to 5 (five-point Liker scale), as a means of gathering data to see relationships influence of independent variables and the dependent variable. Independent variables are performance expectancy, effort expentancy, social influence and facilitating condition. Then, dependent variable are behavioral intention and use behavioral. The result, performance expectancy, effort expentancy has a positive and significant correlation with behavioral intention , while social influence has no correlation. F test show performance expectancy, effort expentancy and social influence has a correlation to behavioral intention. Facilitating condition and behavioral intention of partially and simultaneously correlated to use behavioral. Simultaneously to test behavioral intention and use behavioral are 53% and 64.3%.
