O Upgrade do CĂ©rebro: Neuroplasticidade e Neurotecnologia
Unraveling the mysteries of the brain is to explore the frontiers of knowledge, where plasticity meets technology to redefine the limits of the human mind. Thus, this article investigates the intersection between cerebral neuroplasticity and neurotechnology, exploring the enhancement potential offered by this synergy. Neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to reorganize its structure and function in response to environmental stimuli and experiences, is examined alongside advances in neurotechnology, including neurofeedback, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and brain-computer interfaces. The main objective of this study is to critically analyze the scientific literature to understand how neuroplasticity and neurotechnology can be combined to promote innovative therapeutic interventions in the brain. Specifically, we aim to identify the opportunities and challenges associated with this convergence and provide relevant insights for researchers and healthcare professionals interested in this field. To achieve the proposed objectives, a critical and synthetic literature review was conducted using academic platforms and search engines such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science. Specific terms related to neuroplasticity, neurotechnology, and their various techniques were employed, delimiting the search parameters to ensure the careful selection of studies. Additionally, specific research was carried out to elucidate complex issues, following an approach grounded in scientific and epistemological principles. The combination of neuroplasticity and neurotechnology offers vast potential for developing innovative therapies and interventions in the brain, providing significant benefits for the health and well-being of individuals. However, it is important to consider the ethical, technical, and scientific challenges associated with this approach, emphasizing the continuous need for research and development to fully harness this promising convergence of science and technology applied to the brain.Desvendar os mistĂ©rios do cĂ©rebro Ă© explorar as fronteiras do conhecimento, em que a plasticidade encontra a tecnologia para redefinir os limites da mente humana. Assim, o presente artigo investiga a interseção entre neuroplasticidade cerebral e neurotecnologia, explorando o potencial de aprimoramento oferecido por essa sinergia. A neuroplasticidade, a capacidade do cĂ©rebro de reorganizar sua estrutura e função em resposta a estĂmulos ambientais e experiĂȘncias, Ă© examinada em conjunto com avanços na neurotecnologia, incluindo neurofeedback, estimulação magnĂ©tica transcraniana e interfaces cĂ©rebro-computador. O objetivo principal deste estudo Ă© analisar criticamente a literatura cientĂfica para entender como a neuroplasticidade e a neurotecnologia podem ser combinadas para promover intervençÔes terapĂȘuticas inovadoras no cĂ©rebro. Especificamente, busca-se identificar as oportunidades e os desafios associados a essa convergĂȘncia e fornecer insights relevantes para pesquisadores e profissionais de saĂșde interessados nesse campo. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos, realizou-se uma revisĂŁo bibliogrĂĄfica crĂtica e sintĂ©tica, utilizando plataformas acadĂȘmicas e motores de busca como Google Scholar, Scopus e Web of Science. Foram empregados termos especĂficos relacionados Ă neuroplasticidade, neurotecnologia e suas diversas tĂ©cnicas, delimitando os parĂąmetros da busca para garantir a seleção criteriosa dos estudos. AlĂ©m disso, pesquisas especĂficas foram realizadas para elucidar questĂ”es complexas, seguindo uma abordagem fundamentada em princĂpios cientĂficos e epistemolĂłgicos. A combinação de neuroplasticidade e neurotecnologia oferece um vasto potencial para desenvolver terapias inovadoras e intervençÔes no cĂ©rebro, proporcionando benefĂcios significativos para a saĂșde e o bem-estar dos indivĂduos. No entanto, Ă© importante considerar os desafios Ă©ticos, tĂ©cnicos e cientĂficos associados a essa abordagem, destacando a necessidade contĂnua de pesquisa e desenvolvimento para aproveitar ao mĂĄximo essa promissora convergĂȘncia entre ciĂȘncia e tecnologia aplicada ao cĂ©rebro
Pesca do apaiari, Astronotus ocellatus (Agassiz, 1831), e perfil socioeconĂŽmico dos pescadores artesanais de uma regiĂŁo da AmazĂŽnia brasileira
The artisanal fishery is an important economic and subsistence activity among traditional populations in the Amazon Region. Therefore, the aim of this study was to characterize the fishery of apaiari, Astronotus ocellatus (Agassiz, 1831), and to present a socioeconomic profile of artisanal fishermen in the region lakes of PracuĂșba, AmapĂĄ, Brazil. From May to August 2011 interviews were conducted using standardized forms with fishermen selected by "snowball" method and aged above 18 years old. A total of 68 fishing workers were interviewed, of which 55 were men and 13 women. It was possible to observe that fishing workers have a wide knowledge of fishery in the Region, including apaiari fishery, and that social and economic lives of the PracuĂșba population depend totally of the artisanal fishery
