Cette tude a pour but danalyser lvolution du monstre dautrefois en monstre moderne au sein de la socit dans La trilogie de Mallaig de Diane Lacombe : La chtelaine de Mallaig, Sorcha de Mallaig et Lhermine de Mallaig. Une tude sociale et mythologique a dmontr comment la socit interagit avec cet tre qui bouleverse le microcosme. La figure de ltranger et Dionysos sont essentiels au dsordre social, au chaos. Le processus victimaire, qui comporte les tapes de la transgression, de la crise, de la rparation et de la rdemption, a permis de comprendre que la socit dsire retrouver lordre perdu par la prsence de ltrange monstre dionysiaque. The objective of this study is to analyse the evolution of erstwhile monster into modern monster within the society in La trilogie de Mallaig of Diane Lacombe: La chatelaine de Mallaig, Sorcha de Mallaig, and Lhermine de Mallaig. A social and mythological study has demonstrated how society interacts with this creature who shatters the microcosm. The figure of the stranger and Dionysus are essential to social disorder, to chaos. The victimization process, which includes the steps of transgression, crisis, reparation, and redemption, has made it possible to understand that society wishes to re-establish the order that it once lost by the presence of the strange Dionysian monster

Burundi program implementation workshop, 3–5 June 2014: Link Up meeting report

Link Up is a global consortium of international and local nongovernmental organizations led by the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Link Up aimed to improve the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people in Bangladesh, Burundi, Ethiopia, Myanmar, and Uganda who are living with HIV or are affected by the HIV pandemic. At a workshop held in Burundi, 3–5 June 2014, the Population Council, Alliance Burundaise contre le SIDA, and local partners in Burundi identified successful activities, highlighted important challenges and best practices, and found innovative ways to improve Link Up programming. This document contains a selection of the most salient information generated during the workshop, and is organized in two sections. The first section describes the overarching sexual and reproductive health needs of Burundi’s young people and key populations, summarizes ongoing Link Up activities in Burundi, and provides general recommendations to improve programming. Section 2 examines the specific needs of each of the three key populations in greater detail. An annex provides topical recommendations for future research in Burundi

107 Care management of heart failure in elderly patients in France. Results from the DEVENIR study

RationaleThe part of elderly patients (pts) in heart failure (HF) population is growing. They might pose specific problems due to the greater proportion of HF with preserved LVEF, more frequent comorbidities or contra-indications to recommended HF treatment.Objectivesto describe the care management of pts > 80-year treated for HF in France.MethodsCross sectional observational survey with retrospective collection of data at hospital discharge. Pts must have been diagnosed with CHF and have been hospitalised for CHF within the previous 18 months. Pts are classified according to the LVEF at hospital discharge.Results412 French outhospital cardiologists entered 1 452 pts meeting the inclusion criteria. FEVG at hospital discharge was known for 1408 pts. 355 (25%) were more than 80-year-old. 088 Prescription of beta blockers at hospital discharge and beyond, in patients with heart failure. Results from the DEVENIR study

RationaleBeta blockers are a corner stone treatment of heart failure (HF) in patients with altered systolic function (LVEF<40%). Guidelines are less clear for HF patients with preserved systolic function (LVEF>50%) or for patients belonging to the “grey zone” (LVEF 40-50%).Objectivesto describe the prescription rate of beta-blockers in HF patients.MethodsCross sectional observational survey with retrospective collection of data at hospital discharge. Patients must have been diagnosed with CHF and have been hospitalised for CHF within the previous 18 months. Patients are classified according to the LVEF at hospital discharge.Results1 452 patients were included by 412 French outhospital cardiologists. 1137 with known LVEF at hospital discharge have had at least one visit by the cardiologist between hospital discharge (mean delay 5.76±4.51 months). UMA BREVE REFLEXÃO SOBRE A ATUAL APROPRIAÇÃO NO BAIXIO DO VIADUTO TANNEL ABBUD EM PRESIDENTE PRUDENTE/SP.

The production of discontinuities, such as viaducts, roundabouts and centrals, has been a mistake since the early twentieth century. The controls reproduced by the control of structures have influenced the contemporary planning. The present article has as reference the case of the Tannel Abbud Viaduct, located in the city of Presidente Prudente - SP, in search of analysis as having occurred in the lowlands, by the population. For such, it makes bibliographical, documentary and on-site observations. The results were those, while the applied atmospheres were in accordance with the space offerings, as well as the possibilities of using the resources for marginal use.A produção de descontinuidades, tais como viadutos, rotatórias e canteiros centrais, tem se tornado algo comum desde o começo do século XX. Os aspectos reproduzidos pela inserção dessas estruturas tiveram influências ao planejamento contemporâneo. O presente artigo tem como estudo de caso o Viaduto Tannel Abbud, localizado na cidade de Presidente Prudente –SP, em busca de analisar como tem ocorrido a apropriação no baixio do mesmo, por parte da população. Para tanto faz-se necessário levantamentos bibliográfico, documental e observações in loco. Os resultados obtidos foram que, as atmosferas criadas vão de acordo com que o espaço oferece, dessa forma foi possível perceber que quando não há diretriz adequada unificando as diversidades, esses locais tornam-se ociosos e propícios para uso marginal
