The Comparative Interpretation of Rural, Urban and Regional Ethnicity in Romania

In different forms which reflect the thematic objectives of anthropologicalresearch, there are several criteria of ethno-cultural belonging (namely language, ethnohistory,territoriality, sociality, economy, ethos and the vision of the world) whichmaterialize ethnicity in its factual and process-related meanings. With respect to thecultural variability of ethnic groups or minorities in Romania, this work seeks todescribe and construe the implications of the empiric and methodological location ofethnicity, in rural, urban and regional contexts, based on the comparative analogicaland homological properties of cultural patterns of behaviour

Geological and ecological assessment of the exposure degree of the Zăton-Bulba karst system (Mehedinţi Plateau) to anthropogenic hazards: intrinsic vulnerability and biodiversity study

The Mehedinţi Plateau represents an area highly marked by the intensity of the karst processes and by the diversity of the exokarst and endokarst features. The analyzed area includes two parallel limestone bars, developed on the Carpathian structures direction (NNE-SSW). The geological and geomorphological research, guided by a working protocol similar to that of the EPIK method, highlighted the role played by the lithology, structure, tectonics, epikarst and protective cover, related to the infiltration conditions, flow parameters and impact area of a potential contamination event; also, we carried on microtectonic studies on the Bulba Valley, Peşterii Hill, Podul Natural Cave and Bulba Cave. In addition to the results obtained following the EPIK method protocol, we bring forward data concerning the water quality, performing hydrogeochemical analyses on water samples collected from the main sources in the region. Our research has been focused on TDS, on cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, NH4+) and on anions (HCO3-, Cl-). We conclude by modelling the cumulative abundance and the species richness of the harvestmen (Opiliones) in the studied area, under different degrees of human impact on habitat

SUSTAINABLE NUCLEAR DEVELOPMENT IN ROMANIA

The paper presents the development of the nuclear power sector in Romania from the perspective of sustainable development. The current state is analysed and the expected future development is investigated. The implementation of ALFRED LFR demonstrator in Romania (reference site: nuclear platform Mioveni) is approached from the point of view of the current stage of RDI and implementation and the contribution to sustainable development in Romania and Europe

CURRENT STATE CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF ORGANIC COMPOST EQUIPMENT. A REVIEW

Globally, in recent years, attempts have been made to move towards organic farming by eliminating the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. To increase soil fertility, more and more natural, biodegradable fertilizers are used. Composting is a naturally controlled process, in which beneficial microorganisms, bacteria, and fungi, turn waste into a finite, fertilizer and soil hardener, which can be considered the enemy of soil pathogens. By decomposing and stabilizing organic substances during fermentation under the action of microorganisms, by biological degradation, the organic material is transformed into a humus-like material. The main purpose of waste composting technologies is to reduce the amount of biodegradable waste, to store it in environmentally friendly conditions and, finally, to reintroduce the finished product, which is compost, into the economic circuit.This paper aims to present the current state concerning the construction of organic compost equipment, but also the advantages and disadvantages of each equipment /machinery.

Травматолого-ортопедическая служба – неотделимый компонент в комплексе мер защиты здоровья населения (доктринарный синтез)

A doctrinaire synthesis of the founding and development of Traumatology and Orthopedy service in Republic of Moldova are presented. Prof. N. Testemitanu as a director of the Republican Clinical Hospital, later Rector of the Medical Institute, Minister of Health contributed directly: to opening of the first specilaized department (1959), to inauguration of Traumatology and Orthopedy Chair (1962), to the establishing of the Republican Clinical Hospital of Traumatology and Orthopedy (1964), to the training of specialists in the field, etc.Представлен синтез доктрины создания и развития травматолого-ортопедической службы в Республике Молдова под эгидой профессора Николае Тестемицану. Будучи главным врачом Республиканской клинической больницы, затем Ректором Кишиневского государственного медицинского института, министром здравоохранения республики последовательного открыл: первое травматолого-ортопедическое отделение (1959), кафедру по этой специальности (1962), строил Республиканскую клиническую больницу травматологии и ортопедии (1964), активно занимался вопросами подготовки специалистов по данной дисциплине и т.д

Research and Science Today Journal is a publication founded in 2011 and it is dedicated to the students of all levels (license, master and doctoral) of faculties in the country and abroad. We want to offer the participants the opportunity to present their scientific works in the following areas: Social Sciences, Economic Sciences, Legal Sciences, Humanities, Education Sciences, Engineering, Medicine and Sport. This journal provides students the opportunity to create and / or to improve their abilities to write scientific papers. So each appearance (two appearances per year at which we can add supplements) contains a number of papers written by students, masters and doctoral from the faculties from the country or / and abroad. The journal promotes original studies contributing to the progress of knowledge and it is motivated by the need to address issues of theory and practice in the areas mentioned above. The Journal is a training means of the factors involved in the conceptualization, development, implementation and evaluation , aiming the formation of creative personalities who could be able to adapt through the changing conditions of life. Journal wants to be a forum for debates disciplinaries and interdisciplinaries theoretical topics, to become a research support, to leverage this work at regional, national and international levels. We believe that this gathering will enjoy the support from both parts of the researchers and of the practitioners, and will provide appropriate training sources held professional through the current problems
