Container Number Recognition Method Based on SSD_MobileNet and SVM
Aiming at how to realize the recognition of the container number on the container surface at the entrance and exit of the port, a method based on image affine transformation and SVM classifier is proposed. The main process includes truck target detection, box number area detection, text correction stage, image preprocessing stage and segmentation detection and recognition stage. Firstly, a kind of container truck detection program based on frame difference method and decreasing sequence of connected domain is proposed; secondly, a method of container number area detection based on SSD_MobileNet is proposed; in the case number recognition stage, a text correction method based on image affine transformation is proposed, and different processing methods are proposed for vertical sequence box number and horizontal sequence box number in image preprocessing stage In the stage of segmentation detection and recognition, a character segmentation algorithm based on connected domain segmentation and a segmentation detection and recognition algorithm based on SVM classifier are proposed. Through the detection and recognition of container images in the field monitoring video, the accuracy rate of regional detection can reach 97%, and the accuracy rate of character recognition can reach 95%, and it can achieve good real-time performance
Compact, Efficient, and Wideband Near-Field Resonant Parasitic Filtennas
As a hybrid component in RF front-end systems, filtennas possess the distinctive advantages of simultaneously combining filtering and radiating performance characteristics. Consequently, filtennas not only save space and costs but also reduce transmission losses. In this chapter, three sorts of filtennas have been proposed: the first sort is band-pass/band-stop filtennas, which are mainly realized by assembling band-pass/band-stop filters and antennas to achieve the combined functions; the second sort is multi-resonator-cascaded filtennas, which are obtained by altering the coupled-resonators in the last stage of the filters to act as the radiating elements; and the third sort is near-field resonant parasitic, bandwidth-enhanced filtennas, which are accomplished through organically combining radiator and filtering structures. For the second and third sorts, it is worth noting that the design methods witness significant electrical size reduction without degrading the radiation performance of the filtennas in general
MRI Image Segmentation System of Uterine Fibroids Based on AR-Unet Network
Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumors in female reproductive organs. The segmentation of uterine fibroids is crucial for accurate treatment. This paper proposes a new uterine fibroids MRI T2W image segmentation network AR-Unet (Attention Resnet101-Unet), which uses the deep neural network ResNet101 as the front end of feature extraction, extracts image semantic information, and combines U-net design ideas to build a network structure. The attention gate module is added before the upsampling and downsampling feature maps are spliced. We tested a total of 123 uterine fibroids MRI T2W images from 13 patients. The segmentation results were verified with expert-defined manual segmentation results. The average Dice coefficient, IOU value, sensitivity and specificity of all segmented images were 0.9044, 0.8443, 88.55% and 94.56%, the performance is better than ResNet101-Unet and Attention-Unet models, and finally the network is encapsulated into an auxiliary diagnostic system

Metabolic Pathways Enhancement Confers Poor Prognosis in p53 Exon Mutant Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
RNA-Sequencing (RNA-Seq), the most commonly used sequencing application tool, is not only a method for measuring gene expression but also an excellent media to detect important structural variants such as single nucleotide variants (SNVs), insertion/deletion (Indels), or fusion transcripts. The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) contains genomic data from a variety of cancer types and also provides the raw data generated by TCGA consortium. p53 is among the top 10 somatic mutations associated with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The aim of the present study was to analyze concordant different gene profiles and the priori defined set of genes based on p53 mutation status in HCC using RNA-Seq data. In the study, expression profile of 11 799 genes on 42 paired tumor and adjacent normal tissues was collected, processed, and further stratified by the mutated versus normal p53 expression. Furthermore, we used a knowledge-based approach Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) to compare between normal and p53 mutation gene expression profiles. The statistical significance (nominal P value) of the enrichment score (ES) genes was calculated. The ranked gene list that reflects differential expression between p53 wild-type and mutant genotypes was then mapped to metabolic process by KEGG, an encyclopedia of genes and genomes to assign functional meanings. These approaches enable us to identify pathways and potential target gene/pathways that are highly expressed in p53 mutated HCC. Our analysis revealed 2 genes, the hexokinase 2 (HK2) and Enolase 1 (ENO1), were conspicuous of red pixel in the heatmap. To further explore the role of these genes in HCC, the overall survival plots by Kaplan-Meier method were performed for HK2 and ENO1 that revealed high HK2 and ENO1 expression in patients with HCC have poor prognosis. These results suggested that these glycolysis genes are associated with mutated-p53 in HCC that may contribute to poor prognosis. In this proof-of-concept study, we proposed an approach for identifying novel potential therapeutic targets in human HCC with mutated p53. These approaches can take advantage of the massive next-generation sequencing (NGS) data generated worldwide and make more out of it by exploring new potential therapeutic targets
Requirement of focal adhesion kinase in branching tubulogenesis
We previously demonstrated that α3β1 integrins are essential to hepatocyte growth factor (HGF)-independent branching tubulogenesis in Mardin-Darby Canine Kidney (MDCK) cells. However, the involvement of integrin downstream signaling molecules remains unclear. In the present study, we successfully isolated cell lines possessing different tubulogenic potentials from the MDCK cells; cyst clones (CA4, CA6) forming cystic structures when cultured in 0.3% type I collagen gel and mass clones (M610, M611, M612) forming aggregated masses. Cyst clones maintained cystic structure in 0.1% collagen gel, whereas mass clones spontaneously developed into tubules. Both clones exhibited various morphologies when cultured on a dish: cyst clones formed aggregated islands, while mass clones were more scattered and exhibited higher migration capacity. Among several focal adhesion machinery proteins examined, only the expression and phosphorylation level of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) in mass clones was higher than in cyst clones, while other proteins showed no obvious differences. However, overexpression of wild type FAK in CA6 cells did not facilitate branching tubule formation in 0.1% collagen gel. Targeted decrease in the expression level of FAK in M610 cells with the application of antisense cDNA resulted in a marked reduction of branching tubule formation in 0.1% collagen gel and showed a down-regulation of fibronectin assembly, which is known to promote tubulogenesis. In contrast, overexpression of wild type FAK in CA6 cells had no effect on fibronectin assembly. Taken together, our data demonstrates that FAK is required, but not sufficient for HGF-independent branching tubulogenesis in MDCK cells
Saliency Detection Gradient Preservation for Bayer Image Color Reconstruction
Image color reconstruction is a necessary process to recover high quality full color images from Bayer images. In view of the existence of image texture and edge blurring in color reconstruction algorithms, a four-direction joint gradient weighted residual interpolation algorithm is proposed, which uses four-direction weights obtained from RGB pixel gradients and residual gradients in Bayer images, linearly combined with the color difference estimation to effectively obtain the full G image. Aiming at the color cast phenomenon of the image after color interpolation, a saliency detection gradient-preserving color correction algorithm is proposed based on the RGB image captured under natural light. Firstly, the saliency detection method is used to segment the interpolated image and the RGB image into two regions, then carrying out the region correspondence for gradient-preserving color correction, and finally the weighted fusion method is used to obtain the final color reconstructed image. The experimental results show that the reconstructed image texture and edges are clearer and the colors are closer to RGB images

Prognostic value of vitamin D in patients with pneumonia: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Purpose: To investigate the prognostic role of vitamin D in pneumonia patients through meta-analysis.Methods: PubMed and Embase were systematically searched for relevant studies that assessed the impact of vitamin D on the risk of adverse outcomes among patients with pneumonia. Risk ratios (RR) with 95 % confidence intervals (95 % CI) were pooled using meta-analysis. Q-test and I2 statistics were used to evaluate between-study heterogeneity. Results: Six studies were finally included in the meta-analysis. The results of meta-analysis of these studies indicated that low vitamin D status was associated with higher risk of mortality among pneumonia patients (RR = 2.59, 95 % CI = 1.32-5.08; p = 0.005). Results from meta-analysis of studies with adjusted estimates suggest that low vitamin D status was independently associated with higher risk of mortality among pneumonia patients (RR = 3.15, 95 % CI 1.54-6.44, p = 0.002). There was no significant risk of bias in the meta-analysis.Conclusion: This study demonstrates that low vitamin D level is associated with a higher risk of adverse outcomes in patients with pneumonia. Keywords: Pneumonia, Vitamin D, Prognosis, Meta-analysis, Systematic revie
