    Effect of use of water, supersaturated with air, to reduce the severity of the cvonsequence of laboratory animals oxidative stress. I. The influence of water, supersaturated with air, on the bioelectrical mobility of the isolated cells

    The objects of the study were erythrocytes and buccal epithelium cells. Hemolysis of erythrocytes and microelectrophoretic mobility of cells in artesian water supersaturated with nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide and oxygen were investigated. It was experimentally established that water with gas nanobubbles has a cytoprotective and membrane-resistant effect in the conditions of osmotic and toxic effects on both red blood cells and epithelial cells of the buccal epithelium, while having an activating effect on the cell, its compartments (core) and plasma membrane. The intensity of cell response depends on the nature of the gas phase nanomaterialy: nanomaterialy phase Ar activates cells to a lesser extent than the phase of air and O2. This dependence correlates with the solubility of gases.     Under fusemide-induced hypomagnesemia in animals, the hydroxy form of magnesium orotate shows a higher rate of compensation for magnesium deficiency in the blood compared to the oxo form. Furosemide load is accompanied not only by hypomagnesia, but also by the development diselementosis of the body. Changes in elemental status are different depending on the organ. The amount of magnesium in the furosemide load decreases in serum, does not change in the heart, rises in the spleen and thymus. The injection of the hydroxy form of magnesium orotate levels the ratio of micro- and macronutrients in blood plasma and organ tissues. Magnesium deficiency is accompanied by signs of immuno-inflammatory reaction, leuko- and lymphocytosis, eosinophilia, a decrease in the number of erythrocytes and a decrease in the level of hemoglobin.     The objects of the research were erythrocytes and lymphocytes of humans and rats and human buccal epitheliocites. The hemolysis of erythrocytes and microelectrophoresic cell mobility in solutions of saline with the orotate magnesium tautomers was studied. The mobility of erythrocytes in the solution with the dihydroxy-form showed negative dynamics (the number of active erythrocytes decreased in 2 times), the activity of cells increased in hydroxy-forms solutions: the amplitude of vibrations of the erythrocyte membrane increased more than in 2 times. Moreover, in solutions with hydroxy- and dihydroxy-forms the active forms of lymphocytes appeared. In oxo-form solution this effect was not observed. Buccal epithelium cells react in a similar way. The amplitude cytolemma and the nuclear membrane vibrations is higher in solution with hydroxy-form magnesium orotate. Activation of nucleated buccal cells in solutions of hydroxy-form are more pronounced than activation of red blood cells.     Effect of mechanoactivation of creatine and creatinine on buccal epithelium cells and erythrocytes electrokinetic activity

    The influence of ball milling on the structure and biological activity of creatine and creatinine in relation to buccal epithelial cells and erythrocytes was studied. Mechanoactivation of creatine and creatinine does not change the type of crystal lattice, thus changing the lattice parameters. When creatine is mechanically activated, the steric position of the nitrogen-containing part of the molecule changes. The new structural state of the creatine molecule is unstable and breaks down after a few days in the powder sample, and the aqueous solution after 15 minutes. Ball milling leads to tautomeric transformation of a molecule of creatinine.     The influence of water with gas nanobubbles on the condition and biochemical parameters of blood of rats in conditions of hypercaloric diet and experimental diabetes was studied. The beneficial effect of water with gas nanobubbles on rats in conditions of a reduced-calorie diet and streptozocin and experimental alloxan diabetes is observed. In rats, which were on an unbalanced diet, including excess fat and carbohydrates, the use of water with nanobubbles maintains a balance in terms of glycosylated hemoglobin, helps to reduce the weight and amount of cholesterol in the serum. In rats with experimental diabetes, the intake of treated water by rats, in the absence of hypoglycemic therapy, leads to a decrease in glucose levels and glycosylated hemoglobin. The effect of water intake is more pronounced in rats with alloxan diabetes.     Sendo o movimento de cidades/municΓ­pios saudΓ‘veis uma estratΓ©gia de promoção da saΓΊde, elaborou-se um trabalho de atualização de informaçáes com o objetivo de contextualizar o debate da avaliação no campo da promoção da saΓΊde, apontando os princΓ­pios que devem nortear o estabelecimento de um processo avaliativo e problematizar este tema quanto aos projetos de cidades/municΓ­pios saudΓ‘veis. PropΓ΅e-se uma tipologia que classifica os artigos indexados nas bases de dados MedLine e Lilacs, entre 1985 e 2000, sobre o tema "cidades/municΓ­pios saudΓ‘veis" de acordo com a Γͺnfase de cada artigo analisado. Os artigos que enfatizam iniciativas de avaliação de projetos sΓ£o analisados com maior detalhamento, tabulando-os em função da metodologia utilizada, dos instrumentos aplicados, dos indicadores produzidos, dos resultados obtidos e da anΓ‘lise crΓ­tica do modelo adotado. Destacam-se iniciativas de avaliação de "cidades/municΓ­pios saudΓ‘veis", que se aproximariam mais dos princΓ­pios da "promoção da saΓΊde", e que adotam a avaliação, mas como instrumento de construção de capacidades e fortalecimento de grupos populacionais envolvidos com projetos nessa temΓ‘tica.<br>Since the Healthy City movement is a health promotion strategy, an update study was carried out to put into context the health promotion evaluation debate stressing the principles to be considered in an evaluation initiative and in the problematic of Health Cities projects. A literature review of "Healthy Cities" was conducted. A typology based on of Healthy Cities papers found in MEDLINE, LILACS and published in the "Health Promotion International" between 1985 and 2000 was proposed taking into consideration the main focus of each paper. Articles on evaluation were analyzed in more details according to stressing methods, research tools, indicators, study results, and critical appraisal of their models. Finally, it is highlighted initiatives that would come close to the principles of "Health Promotion" and adopt evaluation as a tool for building up capabilities and the empowerment of community groups involved with Healthy Cities initiatives
