    Addressing the clinical unmet needs in primary Sjögren's Syndrome through the sharing, harmonization and federated analysis of 21 European cohorts

    For many decades, the clinical unmet needs of primary Sjögren's Syndrome (pSS) have been left unresolved due to the rareness of the disease and the complexity of the underlying pathogenic mechanisms, including the pSS-associated lymphomagenesis process. Here, we present the HarmonicSS cloud-computing exemplar which offers beyond the state-of-the-art data analytics services to address the pSS clinical unmet needs, including the development of lymphoma classification models and the identification of biomarkers for lymphomagenesis. The users of the platform have been able to successfully interlink, curate, and harmonize 21 regional, national, and international European cohorts of 7,551 pSS patients with respect to the ethical and legal issues for data sharing. Federated AI algorithms were trained across the harmonized databases, with reduced execution time complexity, yielding robust lymphoma classification models with 85% accuracy, 81.25% sensitivity, 85.4% specificity along with 5 biomarkers for lymphoma development. To our knowledge, this is the first GDPR compliant platform that provides federated AI services to address the pSS clinical unmet needs. © 2022 The Author(s

    187 σ.Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η διαστασιολόγηση και ο έλεγχος επάρκειας μιας υφιστάμενης μεταλλικής κατασκευής χρησιμοποιώντας ένα πρόγραμμα του εμπορίου για την ανάλυση και διαστασιολόγηση του φορέα. Συγκεκριμένα χρησιμοποιήθηκε το SAP2000V.15. Για τον υπολογισμό των φορτίων χρησιμοποιήθηκε ο Ευρωκώδικας 3. Πιο αναλυτικά : στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια περιγραφή της κατασκευής. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο υπολογίζονται τα φορτία της κατασκευής. Στο κεφάλαιο τρία γίνεται η καταγραφή των απαιτούμενων συνδυασμών φορτίσεων. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο ελέγχεται η σεισμική απόκριση της κατασκευής. Εν συνεχεία γίνονται οι ελέγχοι επάρκειας και οι ικανοτικοί έλεγχοι. Τέλος, ανάλυση και διαστασιολόγηση των δομικών στοιχείων συνδέσεων της σύμμικτης πλάκας. Στο κεφάλαιο εγτά εξάγονται τα συμπεράσματα.The aim of this diploma is the study and design of a seven-storey steel structure using a software package. Specifically we used SAP2000V.15. For the load's computing we used Eurocode 1 and for the adequacy control Eurocode 3 was used. More analytically: in the first chapter there is the structure's define. In the second chapter we calcuate the structure's loads. In the third chapter there is the booking of the necessary load's combination. In the 4th chapter we check the seismic response of the structure. Then the adequacy controls of the structural elements. Finally, the capacity design of the diagonial rigidity bond is checked. In the 6th chapter there is the analysis and design of the structural elements, of the joints and the composite slab.
