Fast Arithmetics Using Chinese Remaindering
In this paper, some issues concerning the Chinese remaindering representation
are discussed. Some new converting methods, including an efficient
probabilistic algorithm based on a recent result of von zur Gathen and
Shparlinski \cite{Gathen-Shparlinski}, are described. An efficient refinement
of the NC division algorithm of Chiu, Davida and Litow
\cite{Chiu-Davida-Litow} is given, where the number of moduli is reduced by a
factor of
Nonperturbative Vertices in Supersymmetric Quantum Electrodynamics
We derive the complete set of supersymmetric Ward identities involving only
two- and three- point proper vertices in supersymmetric QED. We also present
the most general form of the proper vertices consistent with both the
supersymmetric and U(1) gauge Ward identities. These vertices are the
supersymmetric equivalent of the non supersymmetric Ball-Chiu vertices.Comment: seventeen pages late

Eccrine poromatosis following chemotherapy and radiation therapy
Eccrine poroma presents as a single, symptomless erythematous papule in areas with a high density of eccrine sweat glands. Although rare, eccrine poromas can present as multiple lesions, otherwise known as eccrine poromatosis. The etiology of eccrine poromatosis is unclear. We present two cases of eccrine poromatosis in patients who had undergone chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and stem cell transplant. This case report serves to raise awareness of this condition and highlight its association with malignancies and their treatment
Chiral Anomaly and Index Theorem on a finite lattice
The condition for a lattice Dirac operator D to reproduce correct chiral
anomaly at each site of a finite lattice for smooth background gauge fields is
that D possesses exact zero modes satisfying the Atiyah-Singer index theorem.
This is also the necessary condition for D to have correct fermion determinant
(ratio) which plays the important role of incorporating dynamical fermions in
the functional integral.Comment: LATTICE99(chiral fermion), 3 pages, Latex, espcrc2.st
Quark Mass Matrices with Four and Five Texture Zeroes, and the CKM Matrix, in terms of Mass Eigenvalues
Using the triangular matrix techniques of Kuo et al and Chiu et al for the
four and five texture zero cases, with vanishing (11) elements for U and D
matrices, it is shown, from the general eigenvalue equations and hierarchy
conditions, that the quark mass matrices, and the CKM matrix can be expressed
(except for the phases) entirely in terms of quark masses. The matrix
structures are then quite simple and transparent. We confirm their results for
the five texture zero case but find, upon closer examination of all the CKM
elements which our results provide, that six of their nine patterns for the
four texture zero case are not compatible with experiments. In total, only one
five-texture zero and three four-texture zero patterns are allowed.Comment: 15 pages, 3 table
