The study explored the relationships between athletes’ perception of coaching behaviours and satisfaction towards coaches’ leadership. The path-goal theory (House, 1971) and a multidimensional model of leadership (Chelladurai, 1990) were used as the theoretical base. A stratified random sample of 234 males and 183 females adolescent school athletes were selected to answer a questionnaire which consists of personal data, Leadership Scale for Sports (Chelladurai & Saleh, 1980), and satisfaction scale towards leadership. The results indicate that training and instruction behaviour, and rewarding behaviour are often exhibited by coaches, and the autocratic behaviour is seldom portrayed. The results of Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation also show that the score of each dimension of the coaches' training and instruction, democratic, social support and rewarding behaviours has positive significant relation to athletes' satisfaction towards the leadership of coaches. Nevertheless, the “stepwise” multiple regression analysis reveal that training and instruction, democratic and social support behaviour of coaches show positive and significant contribution in relationship of athletes' satisfaction towards coaches' leadership. Furthermore, autocratic behaviour is also found to contribute significantly and negatively in relation to athletes' satisfaction towards coaches' leadership. Therefore, the study suggests that to increase atheletes’s satisfaction towards leadership, coaches should exhibit more training and instruction, social support and democractic behaviours, besides reducing the characteristics of autocratic behaviour

The purpose of this study is to identify the influences of attitude, self-efficacy,and motivation on leisure time physical activity participation in students at local public universities. The theories of planned behaviour and self-efficacy were used as a theoretical framework. The study sample is comprised of 551 males and 801 females who were selected by means of random cluster sampling.Questionnaires were utilised to collect data. The results of the study showed that there were positive correlations between leisure attitude, motivation, and self-efficacy and leisure time physical activity participation among undergraduate students. The results also revealed that motivation and self-efficacy were the best predictors of leisure time physical activity participation. This study suggests that, in the effort to encourage the student’s leisure time physical activity participation and involvement, university management should plan and organise programmes to develop positive attitudes among students, increasing their self-efficacy and motivation level for physical activity participation

It is a challenge for sport tourism providers to organize the exceptional demand of physically-disabled individuals.Analyzing the orientation of physically-disabled in sport tourism participation provides the basis for further theoretical recognition of constraints and negotiations in sport tourism in general, besides facilitating related providers and policy makers in understanding of strategies development to promote sporting events among individuals with disability. Majority of them are structurally constrained in sporting event participation. Although transportation is the main constraint factor, participations are possible through adoption of interpersonal coordination strategies, skill acquisition strategies, time management strategies, and financial resources strategie
