    Excitation of solitons in hexagonal lattices and ways of controlling electron transport

    This is a post-peer-review, pre-copyedit version of an article published in Philosophical Transactions A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences. The final authenticated version is available online at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s40435-017-0383-x.We construct metastable long-living hexagonal lattices with appropriately modified Morse interactions and show that highly-energetic solitons may be excited moving along crystallographic axes. Studying the propagation, their dynamic changes and the relaxation processes it appears that lump solitons create in the lattice running local compressions. Based on the tight-binding model we investigate the possibility that electrons are trapped and guided by the electric polarization field of the compression field of one soliton or two solitons with crossing pathways. We show that electrons may jump from a bound state with the first soliton to a bound state with a second soliton and changing accordingly the direction of their path.     In 2009 at the University Clinic of the Odessa National Medical University with minilaparoscopic and single-port technology we have operated 47 patients with cholelithiasis. 26 patients were performed minilaparoscopic cholecystectomy, 21 β€” laparoscopic cholecystectomy using a single laparoscopic access. All surgical interventions had no intraoperative complications. In 5 patients because of anatomic difficulties in removing the gallbladder, we were used to installing an additional trocar in the epigastric region. Time used for interventions ranged from 30 to 130 minutes. Patients were hospitalized after the surgery from 1 to 4 days. Technically, the performance of single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy was more difficult than the traditional laparoscopic or minilaparoscopic operations due to lack of conditions for the quality triangulation, visualization of anatomical structures in the area of operation and the small angle between the operating instruments. Particular attention was devoted to adequate closure of the abdominal wall defect after installing the port. Pain after use minilaparoscopic surgery was significantly less than with traditional laparoscopic approach. The intensity of pain after single-port operations, was comparable with that of conventional traditional laparoscopy. At follow-up of patients during the first months after surgery separated complications were not observed, marked by a beautiful cosmetic effect. 8 months after surgery 1 patient was diagnosed trocar-site hernia after a single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Π‘ 2009 Π³.     Organofluorines, as a pollutant, belongs to a group of substances which are very difficult to neutralize. They are part of many products of everyday use and for this reason they pollute the environment in large quantities. Perfluorinated carboxylic acids are entered into the list of the β€œStockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants” in order to minimize the load on the environment by significantly reducing their use, up to their complete rejection. The DD4 strain was isolated from the soil by the enrichment method and identified using 16S rRNA method as Pseudomonas plecoglossicida. It is able to metabolize perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) as the only carbon source in Raymond nutrient medium with a concentration of 1000 mg/l with the release of 132 mg/l fluorine ions. In tests conducted on the biological decomposition of perfluorooctanoic acid, it was possible to quantify its residues using tandem LCMS-IT-TOF. The presented results characterize the Pseudomonas plecoglossicida DD4 strain actively utilized PFOA as the sole carbon source, which characterizes it as a candidate for the creation of biological products aimed at the utilization of organofluorine pollutants
