Massive vector particles tunneling from Kerr and Kerr-Newman black holes
In this paper, we investigate the Hawking radiation of massive spin-1
particles from 4-dimensional Kerr and Kerr-Newman black holes. By applying the
Hamilton-Jacobi ansatz and the WKB approximation to the field equations of the
massive bosons in Kerr and Kerr-Newman space-time, the quantum tunneling method
is successfully implemented. As a result, we obtain the tunneling rate of the
emitted vector particles and recover the standard Hawking temperature of both
the two black holes.Comment: 14 pages, Acknowledgements added and typos corrected, Version

Recovering information of tunneling spectrum from Weakly Isolated Horizon
In this paper we investigate the properties of tunneling spectrum from weakly
isolated horizon(WIH). We find that there are correlations among Hawking
radiations from weakly isolated horizon, the information can be carried out in
terms of correlations between sequential emissions, and the radiation is an
entropy conservation process. We generalize Refs.[11-13]' results to a more
general spacetime. Through revisiting the calculation of tunneling spectrum of
weakly isolated horizon, we find that Ref.[12]'s requirement that radiating
particles have the same angular momenta of unit mass as that of black hole is
not needed, and the energy and angular momenta of emitting particles are very
arbitrary which should be restricted only by keeping the cosmic censorship of
black hole
Pilot-based channel estimation for AF relaying using energy harvesting
In existing channel estimators for amplify-andforward relaying, pilots are often sent from the relay to the destination which consumes the relay’s own energy. This limits the relay’s participation in the network. In this paper, several moment-based channel estimators for amplify-and-forward relaying are proposed that harvest energy from the source and using the harvested energy to send pilots to the destination for channel estimation. Both time-switching and power-splitting strategies are considered. Numerical results show that the two schemes that perform channel estimation only at the destination have worse performances than the two schemes that perform channel estimation at both the relay and the destination. They also show that the bit error rate performances of all schemes are close to the perfect case when exact knowledge of the channel state information is available such that there is no channel estimation error in the demodulation. The assumption that the two schemes only perform channel estimation at the destination makes them simpler, as they do not require channel estimation at the relay or feed the channel estimate back to the destination
Doubly resonant photonic crystal cavity using merged bound states in the continuum
In this work, a doubly resonant photonic crystal (PhC) cavity using the
merged bound states in the continuum (BICs) is proposed to obtain a higher
second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency. Firstly by scanning geometry
parameters the accidental BICs and a band-edge mode outside the light cone can
be obtained. Then as the lattice constant or the thickness of the slab is
adjusted the accidental BICs will merge. A supercell with large and small holes
is constructed and the band-edge mode outside the light cone can be
mode-matched with the merged BICs mode. Finally the heterostructure PhC cavity
is designed. The merged BICs show a high quality factor for the photonic
crystal with finite size. Consequently, the SHG efficiency of the lattice
constant near merged BICs of ~6000% W-1 is higher than the one of the isolated
BIC
Achievement of interventions on HIV infection prevention among migrants in China: A meta-analysis
In China, migrants with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) have become a serious problem in the field of AIDS prevention. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of interventions for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection prevention for migrants in China and to identify factors associated with intervention efficacy. A computerized literature search of the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wan Fang, and PubMed databases was conducted to collect related articles published in China. Only self-control intervention studies or studies containing sections regarding self-control interventions wherein the method of intervention was health education were included. Rev Manager 5.3 software was used to analyze the intervention effects in terms of knowledge, attitude, and behavior indexes. Relative to pre-intervention, the HIV interventions showed statistically significant efficacy in terms of sexual transmission of HIV, condom use for HIV prevention, change in attitude towards HIV/AIDS patients, incidence of commercial sex behavior, and recent condoms use during sex (P < .01). Moreover, the baseline rate of migrants, intervention time, peer education, region, and education background were factors influencing the efficacy of the intervention. Significant improvement in terms of knowledge of sexual transmission of HIV and attitudes and behaviors among migrants was observed; however, based on the findings of previous studies, the interventions should be customized for different people from different districts in China. Further research is needed to evaluate subgroups of migrants in China according to their baseline characteristics. Keywords: migrants, AIDS/HIV, intervention, meta-analysis, precision interventio
