Development of a Small Intelligent Weather Station for Agricultural Applications

    Get PDF
It is known that climate change causes a decrease in the profit gained from agricultural production. This work designs and establishes weather boxes equipped with functions of rainfall prediction, frosting forecast, and lightning detection. With the wireless connection and the build-in decision mode, weather boxes can deliver early-warning by sending texting messages to the users and actuating the corresponding action to response the extreme climate. To implement rainfall and frosting prognostication, two different datasets are analyzed by the technology of data mining. One of the datasets is acquired from the Central Weather Bureau, and the other is from the proposed weather box monitoring the agricultural environment. From the experimental results, the prediction model constructed from the data which is collected by the proposed weather box exhibits a higher accuracy in rainfall forecasting than those based on the Central Weather Bureau

With the rapid development of e-commerce logistics, the development of logistics in modern society is facing fierce competition. The expansion of scale and the overflow of waste packaging also increase the burden of the development of logistics enterprises. Based on 512 sample data collected from Mianyang, Yibin and other cities, this paper establishes regression equation by setting independent and dependent variables, and uses linear regression methods such as correlation coefficient, parameter estimation, SPSS regression analysis to analyze. Through the investigation and analysis of demand of light intelligent package in intelligent logistics system, this paper studies the logistics process. In terms of informationization, paperless, optimization of benefit and value of logistics enterprises, and packaging flooding caused by the development of e-commerce logistics, four suggestions are put forward to help the future development of logistics industry

In the title complex, [Cd(C2O4)(C12H8N2)]n, the CdII atom has a distorted octahedral coordination, defined by four O atoms from two symmetry-related oxalate ligands and by two N atoms from a bidentate 1,10-phenanthroline ligand. Each oxalate ligand bridges two CdII atoms, generating a zigzag chain structure propagating along [100]. The packing of the structure is consolidated by non-classical C—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions

Crystallization and preliminary X-ray diffraction analysis of Trap1 complexed with Hsp90 inhibitors

Hsp90 is a molecular chaperone responsible for the assembly and regulation of many cellular client proteins. In particular, Trap1, a mitochondrial Hsp90 homologue, plays a pivotal role in maintaining mitochondrial integrity, protecting against apoptosis in cancer cells. The N (N-terminal)-M (middle) domain of human Trap1 was crystallized in complex with Hsp90 inhibitors (PU-H71 and BIIB-021) by the hanging-drop vapour-diffusion method at pH 6.5 and 293 K using 15% PEG 8K as a precipitant. Diffraction data were collected from crystals of the Trap1-PU-H71 (2.7 A) and Trap1-BIIB-021 (3.1 A) complexes to high resolution at a synchrotron-radiation source. Preliminary X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that both crystals belonged to space group P41212 or P43212, with unit-cell parameters a = b = 69.2, c = 252.5 A, and contained one molecule per asymmetric unit according to Matthews coefficient calculations.open1
