    Metal Ti quantum chain-inlaid 2D NaSn2(PO4)3/H-doped hard carbon hybrid electrodes with ultrahigh energy storage density

    We report the development of a new hybrid electrode that allows for a reinforcing combination of different energy storage mechanisms, providing enhanced energy and power densities. This hybrid electrode is composed of chain-like metal titanium (zero valency state) quantum dots (<10 nm), two-dimension NaSn2(PO4)3 layer and H-doped hard carbon layer, and possesses unique sandwich and hierarchically meso-macroporous structures. These chain-like quantum dots are inlaid on the edge of ultra-thin NaSn2(PO4)3 nanosheets by using a convenient and economic method, enhancing its conductivity. This design takes advantage of the unique properties of each component and nanostructure, resulting in synergistic effects to improve the charge transfer and energy storage. The hybrid electrode not only shows high capacity, outstanding rate performance and long cycling stability, but also matches well with porous Na3V2(PO4)3 cathode. Remarkably, the Na/Li mixed-ion full battery exhibits significant improvements on the energy and power densities (555 Wh Kg-1/804 W Kg-1 at 1C). Detailed charge storage mechanism investigation reveals that the prelithiation reduces the pseudocapacitive of hybrid electrode and increases its battery behavior, resulting in an ultrahigh energy storage density. Our findings demonstrate that this hybrid electrode is a new potential candidate for high-performance mixed-ion batteries

    The impact of implicit theories on resilience among Chinese nurses: The chain mediating effect of grit and meaning in life

    Implicit theories refer to assumptions people hold about different domains, also known as mindsets. There are two implicit theories on the malleability of one’s ability: entity theory and incremental theory. They constrain and regulate people’s understanding and responses to an individual’s behavior, leading to different social cognitive patterns and behavioral responses. Resilience is a positive adaptation in highly stressful situations that represents mechanisms for coping with and transcending difficult experiences, i.e., a person’s ability to successfully adapt to change, resist the adverse effects of stressors, avoid significant dysfunction, and be chronically affected by considered a protective factor for mental health. Although previous studies showed that individuals’ implicit theories are associated with resilience, this relationship has received little attention in the nursing population. It is unclear which variables may contribute to explaining the relationship between implicit theories and resilience. Therefore, the current study aims to deeply explore the relationship between implicit theories and the resilience of Chinese nurses. In addition, we also seek to demonstrate the chain mediating effects of grit and meaning in life on this relationship. We surveyed 709 Chinese nurses through online questionnaires using the self-made demographic questionnaire, the Implicit Theories Scale, the Short Grit Scale, the Meaning in Life Questionnaire, and the 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale. After controlling for demographic variables such as age, gender, educational background, marital status, professional title, and working years, the results reveal positive associations between Chinese nurses’ implicit theories and their resilience, and grit and meaning in life play a partial mediating role in this relationship, respectively. Furthermore, grit and meaning in life play a chain mediating role between implicit theories and resilience. These findings contribute to understanding the psychological impact mechanism of implicit theories on nurses’ resilience and provide a theoretical basis for nursing managers to formulate strategies to improve nurses’ psychological resilience

    Bibliometric analysis of the 100 top-cited articles on immunotherapy of urological cancer

    Purpose To highlight the scientific progress in immunotherapy of urological cancer by identifying and analyzing the 100 top-cited (T100) articles from the last 15 years. Methods Papers in immunotherapy of urological cancer were identified from Clarivate Web of Science Core Collection database. Data of the T100 articles and papers published in recent 2 years, including citations, topic, year of publication, country of origin, institution and authorship, were extracted and analyzed. Results Of the T100 articles, the citation number ranged from 7387 to 183 with a mean of 590.66. The USA led the field with 80 T100 articles and 53097 citations. Pro Sharma P from MD Anderson Cancer Center was at the top of list with 8 T100 articles (3 as first author and 6 as corresponding author). Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center ranked first with 26 T100 articles and 22573 citations, followed by Johns Hopkins University with 21 T100 articles and 25095 citations. Forty-nine T100 articles were related to the renal cancer, followed by prostate cancer (29), bladder cancer (13) and urothelial cancer (13). According to the type of immunotherapy, most T100 articles were related to ICI (55 articles) and vaccine (19 articles). Conclusions It is the first bibliometric analysis to identify the T100 articles on immunotherapy of urological cancer. The USA made great contribution in the field of immunotherapy related to urological cancer. Renal, bladder and prostate cancers were the major organs treated by immunotherapy especially by ICIs and vaccines. The multiple aspects of ICIs research in renal and bladder cancer and the neoantigen-based vaccine therapy will be hotspots for future research

    Abstract Background There is no consensus on 3-dimensional (3D) quantification method for solid component within part-solid nodules (PSNs). This study aimed to find the optimal attenuation threshold for the 3D solid component proportion in low-dose computed tomography (LDCT), namely the consolidation/tumor ratio of volume (CTRV), basing on its correlation with the malignant grade of nonmucinous pulmonary adenocarcinomas (PAs) according to the 5th edition of World Health Organization classification. Then we tested the ability of CTRV to predict high-risk nonmucinous PAs in PSNs, and compare its performance with 2-dimensional (2D) measures and semantic features. Methods A total of 313 consecutive patients with 326 PSNs, who underwent LDCT within one month before surgery and were pathologically diagnosed with nonmucinous PAs, were retrospectively enrolled and were divided into training and testing cohorts according to scanners. The CTRV were automatically generated by setting a series of attenuation thresholds from − 400 to 50 HU with an interval of 50 HU. The Spearman’s correlation was used to evaluate the correlation between the malignant grade of nonmucinous PAs and semantic, 2D, and 3D features in the training cohort. The semantic, 2D, and 3D models to predict high-risk nonmucinous PAs were constructed using multivariable logistic regression and validated in the testing cohort. The diagnostic performance of these models was evaluated by the area under curve (AUC) of receiver operating characteristic curve. Results The CTRV at attenuation threshold of -250 HU (CTRV− 250HU) showed the highest correlation coefficient among all attenuation thresholds (r = 0.655, P < 0.001), which was significantly higher than semantic, 2D, and other 3D features (all P < 0.001). The AUCs of CTRV− 250HU to predict high-risk nonmucinous PAs were 0.890 (0.843–0.927) in the training cohort and 0.832 (0.737–0.904) in the testing cohort, which outperformed 2D and semantic models (all P < 0.05). Conclusions The optimal attenuation threshold was − 250 HU for solid component volumetry in LDCT, and the derived CTRV− 250HU might be valuable for the risk stratification and management of PSNs in lung cancer screening

However, the potential functions of SPARCL1 in the pan-cancer cohort have not been widely studied.Methods: We evaluated the transcriptional level and the prognostic value of SPARCL1 in 33 types of cancer and revealed the relationship between genetic alterations of SPARCL1 and the tumor mutation burden. Meanwhile, we assessed the correlations between SPARCL1 and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes across cancers.Results: The transcriptional level of SPARCL1 was inhibited in most cancers. Although SPARCL1 was down-regulated in most cancers, SPARCL1 might play a protective or detrimental role in different cancers. We demonstrated that mutation count was elevated in the altered SPARCL1 group in several cancers. Additionally, we found a significant positive correlation between SPARCL1 and macrophage infiltration levels in most cancers. Especially, marker sets of M2 macrophages were strongly related to SPARCL1 in cholangiocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, rectum adenocarcinoma, and pancreatic adenocarcinoma.Conclusion: Our study found that SPARCL1 might work as a biomarker for prognosis and immune infiltration in pan-cancer analysis.</p
