The Role of Linguistics Studies on the Political Debate
The paper is to find out the linguistics role contribution towards the political debate event at the election party. The presidential debate\u27s primary purpose is to sponsor and produce debates for the United States presidential and vice-presidential candidates and to undertake research and educational activities relating to the debates. A leaders\u27 debate or presidential debate is a public debate held during a general election campaign, where the candidates expose their political opinions and public policy proposals, and criticism of them, to potential voters. They are normally broadcast live on radio, television and the internet. Increasing learners\u27 confidence, poise, and self-esteem. Providing an engaging, active, learner-centered activity. Improving rigorous higher-order and critical thinking skills. Enhancing the ability to structure and organize thoughts
Computational structures for robotic computations
The computational problem of inverse kinematics and inverse dynamics of robot manipulators by taking advantage of parallelism and pipelining architectures is discussed. For the computation of inverse kinematic position solution, a maximum pipelined CORDIC architecture has been designed based on a functional decomposition of the closed-form joint equations. For the inverse dynamics computation, an efficient p-fold parallel algorithm to overcome the recurrence problem of the Newton-Euler equations of motion to achieve the time lower bound of O(log sub 2 n) has also been developed
Stabilization of multiple resistance levels by current-sweep in SiOx-based resistive switching memory
Using current-sweep measurements, the set process in SiOx-based resistive random access memory (RRAM) has been found to consist of multiple resistance-reduction steps. Variation in set behaviors was observed and attributed to different defect distributions in the resistance switching region. Physical mechanism of electroforming process is discussed, which further explains the observed variation of defect distributions. A compliance current study confirms that the achievable memory states of SiOx RRAM are determined by its set behavior. This finding provides additional insight on achieving multi-bit memory storage with SiOx RRAM. (C) 2015 AIP Publishing LLC.Microelectronics Research Cente
Spectral Weights, d-wave Pairing Amplitudes, and Particle-hole Tunneling Asymmetry of a Strongly Correlated Superconductor
The spectral weights (SW's) for adding and removing an electron of the
Gutzwiller projected d-wave superconducting (SC) state of the t-J-type models
are studied numerically on finite lattices. Restrict to the uniform system but
treat exactly the strong correlation between electrons, we show that the
product of weights is equal to the pairing amplitude squared, same as in the
weakly coupled case. In addition, we derive a rigorous relation of SW with
doping in the electron doped system and obtain particle-hole asymmetry of the
conductance-proportional quantity within the SC gap energy and, also, the
anti-correlation between gap sizes and peak heights observed in tunneling
spectroscopy on high Tc cuprates.Comment: 4 Revtex pages and 4 .eps figures. Published versio
