Trust in business is a fundamental element within capital and business success. Businesses need social interaction and networking. Hierarchical mechanism in the corporation, on the one hand aims to streamline the corporate performance targets in the pursuit of profit, but on the other hand there is the critical issue of how the relationship between the shareholders or the investors in monitoring the performance and behavior management in running the company. The problems is simply to look for answers from the existence of a contract containing agreements and management job descriptions, so that the irregularities that occurred outside the context of the contract will be consequential sanctions. The problem is, if then the existence of the contract will streamline the monitoring of behavior and performance management, which all it really comes down to mutual trust relationship, between management and shareholders.DOI: 10.15408/sjie.v1i1.259

    Trust and Business Transaction

Aim of this paper is to explore the root and role of trust within business cycle and transaction. Any business and social transactions contain complexity and are built on the basis of trust and rational calculation. Fluctuation of price of any commodities and level of their selling products are determined by the degree of consumers\u27 trust. Lessons learned from the field teaches that the trust easy to be gone and hard to be re-treated. Keeping trust is very important since any transactions tend to face business failure but existing trust in business commitment will diminish the risk of losing. It is reason why businessmen rely on not only rational calculation but also on emotional, cultural and ethnicity based of trust. If not, it will engender serious risk. DOI: 10.15408/sjie.v5i2.339

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the Department of Social and Pekanbaru City Cemetery under Development of Street Children in the city of Pekanbaru and to know what are the factors that hinder the performance of Department of Social Welfare and Development In Pekanbaru City Cemetery Street Children in the city of Pekanbaru in Pekanbaru . Theory (approach) is used as an analytical tool in this study is the theory of performance indicators efficiency , effectiveness , fairness , and responsiveness . While the methods used in this research is descriptive qualitative research that is intended to provide a systematic overview of the observed phenomena .Based on these results , Performance and Social Service Funeral Pekanbaru City , particularly the field of POM in dealing with street children is still not good . Efforts undertaken in the field of POM handle street children include coaching , mental guidance , and the provision of venture capital . However , the recruitment of street children conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and Funeral Pekanbaru City has not reached the desired target . Obstacles encountered in handling the business of street children is the attitude or mindset of street children who do not want to set a target , causing stunted POM field program . Another problem is the limited human resources in both the Department of Social and Pekanbaru City Cemetery is the source of the lack of budget funds . The process of mentoring street children street children should be done to the self . Supervision of the assistance also needs to be done. Keywords : efficiency , effectiveness , fairness , responsivenes

This research was conducted on vegetables farm area in Tanah Datar district, Kec. X Koto, Nagari Koto Laweh and Nagari Paninjauan, West Sumatera. The aim of this research is to find out the different rate income between Nagari Koto Laweh and Nagari Paninjauan by looking at influece of Tumpang Sari plantation system, workers, and farmer's work hour in both Nagari. The amount of samples in this research are 40 families as respondent, and technique took the samples was by using purposive sampling. Analysis methode that used in this research is descriptive methode. Based on the research was found that different rate income between vegetable farmers in Nagari Koto Laweh and Nagari Paninjauan. Final income from total of all vegetable commodities that get by each farmer families is 223.270.221,1, per hectare per plantation season ( 11 months) or about 20.297.292,8 in a month. Where an total final income from all vegetable commodities that get by each farmer families in Nagari Paninjauan is Rp 341.040.910,9,- a month in a plantation season or about Rp 31.003.719,1,- in a month. That means there is found different final income per hectare in a year Rp 117.770.689,8 or Rp 10.706.426,3,-in a month. The factors that causing this different rate income are Tumpang Sari system and farmer's work hour

Kajian Nilai-Nilai Pancasila di Sektor Perbankan: Peningkatan Peran Perbankan dalam Pemerataan sebagai Wujud dari Keadilan Sosial di Perekonomian Indonesia

This study aims to determine the role of Pancasila values in the banking sector in order to achieve social justice in the form of equity, both of which are applied in the UU pokok perbankan and UU pokok Bank Indonesia, as well as in the level of banking operations. The approach used in this study is a descriptive study using literature review as a kind of research. From the results of literature review found that the UU pokok perbankan and UU pokok Bank Indonesia, which is used by the Indonesian banking industry does not yet reflect the values contained in Pancasila, so that the operational phase toward social justice in the banking sector there is no jurisdiction foundation and the leveling process that became national banking purpose is released to the market mechanism

Tailoring mechanical properties and degradation rate of maxillofacial implant based on sago starch/polylactid acid blend

A polymeric bone implants have a distinctive advantage compared to metal implants due to their degradability in the local bone host. The usage of degradable implant prevents the need for an implant removal surgery especially if they fixated in challenging position such as maxillofacial area. Additionally, this fixation system has been widely applied in fixing maxillofacial fracture in child patients. An ideal degradable implant has a considerable mass degradation rate that proved structural integrity to the healing bone. At this moment, poly(lactic acid) (PLA) or poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) are the most common materials used as degradable implant. This composition of materials has a degradation rate of more than a year. A long degradation rate increases the long-term biohazard risk for the bone host. Therefore, a faster degradation rate with adequate strength of implant is the focal point of this research. This study tailored the tunable degradability of starch with strength properties of PLA. Blending system of starch and PLA has been reported widely, but none of them were aimed to be utilized as medical implant. Here, various concentrations of sago starch/PLA and Polyethylene glycol (PEG) were composed to meet the requirement of maxillofacial miniplate implant. The implant was realized using an injection molding process to have a six-hole-miniplate with 1.2 mm thick and 34 mm length. The specimens were physiochemically characterized through X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy. It is found that the microstructure and chemical interactions of the starch/PLA/PEG polymers are correlated with the mechanical characteristics of the blends. Compared to a pure PLA miniplate, the sago starch/PLA/PEG blend shows a 60–80% lower tensile strength and stiffness. However, the flexural strength and elongation break are improved. A degradation study was conducted to observe the mass degradation rate of miniplate for 10 weeks duration. It is found that a maximum concentration of 20% sago starch and 10% of PEG in the PLA blending has promising properties as desired. The blends showed a 100–150% higher degradability rate compared to the pure PLA or a commercial miniplate. The numerical simulation was conducted and confirmed that the miniplate in the mandibular area were shown to be endurable with standard applied loading. The mechanical properties resulted from the experimental work was applied in the Finite Element Analysis to find that our miniplate were in acceptable level. Lastly, the in-vitro test showed that implants are safe to human cell with viability more than 80%. These findings shall support the use of this miniplate in rehabilitating mandibular fractures with faster degradation with acceptance level of mechanical characteristic specifically in case of 4–6 weeks bone union
