La formación del Parnaso portugués en el siglo XVII

Fondée sur des sélections, des listes et des critiques de poètes, réalisées entre 1614 et 1658, cette étude a pour objet de comprendre, pour la première fois peut-être, ce que l’on entend par canon – ou l’un des canons – du Parnasse portugais au XVIIe siècle, dans le cadre complexe de la situation politique, sociale et linguistique du Portugal à ce moment-là. En appendice est publiée la table des 187 poètes qui a permis d’élaborer ce canon.Recurriendo a algunas selecciones, enumeraciones y críticas de poetas entre 1614 et 1658 se intenta, por primera vez, comprender lo que podrá haber sido el canon –o uno de los cánones– del Parnaso portugués del siglo XVII, formado en el marco de la compleja situación política, social y linguística de Portugal en esas fechas. En apéndice se publica la lista de los 187 poetas que permitieron sugerir la formación de ese canon.Based on a selection of texts, reviews and criticisms of poets between 1614 and 1658, we will for the first time seek to understand what may be called the canon –or one of the canons– of Portuguese poetry in the 17th century, wich emerged in the complex political, social and linguistic conditions. A table of the 187 poets who have contribued to this proposal for a canon is published in appendix

Os recebimentos de relíquias em S. Roque (Lisboa 1588) e em Santa Cruz (Coimbra 1595) : relíquias e espiritualidade : e alguma ideologia

Preliminary study of some cases of relics translated during the second half of the 16th century in Portugal: the relics donated by D. Juan de Borja (ambassador of Phillip II to Portugal and Germany, mordomo-mor at the Court of Empress Mary of Austria, etc.) to the Church of S. Roque in Lisbon (1588) and the relics donated by D. Félix de Rojas (a canon regular) to the Monastery of Santa Cruz of Coimbra in 1595. The study of that period detailed accounts not only throws some light in very important aspects of the spirituality conveyed by the sermons and celebrations held during those ceremonies, but also allow us to understand some of the social and political aspects observed in Portugal in the early days of a dynastic peninsular union
