Da Internet para as Ruas: O Ativismo Virtual como Movimento Modificador da Participação Popular no Cenário Brasileiro

The purpose of this article was to analyze the changes generated by Internet activism and its influence on the construction of popular participation, especially the implementations generated in Brazil. The research was based on the bibliographic type and the deductive method was used to initially explain the origin of democracy and popular participation, presenting the Brazilian model. Then, the effects of activism on the Internet were analyzed, explaining the movement of cyberactivism, and then special emphasis was placed on changing the Brazilian scenario, in light of the manifestations in June 2013 in the country. Finally, it sought to demonstrate the impact of cyberactivism and its implementations in Brazil.O presente artigo teve por finalidade analisar as modificações geradas pelo ativismo oriundo da internet e sua influência na construção da participação popular, sobretudo as implementações geradas no Brasil. A pesquisa baseou-se no tipo bibliográfico e foi utilizado o método dedutivo para que, inicialmente, se explanasse sobre a origem da democracia e a participação popular, apresentado o modelo brasileiro. Em seguida, passou-se a analisar os efeitos do ativismo na internet, explicando o movimento do ciberativismo e, depois, deu-se especial ênfase na modificação do cenário brasileiro, à luz das manifestações de junho de 2013 no país. Por fim, buscou-se demonstrar o impacto do ciberativismo e as implementações geradas por ele no Brasil
