The objective of this work was to select, under the Bayesian perspective, white oat genotypes that have high phenotypic adaptability and stability for the organic system. The study was carried out in four different environments Itapúa in Paraguay and Palotina, Candói and Três Passos in Brazil, in the 2019 crop season. The experimental design used was randomized blocks, organized in a 4x7 factorial scheme, with four environments and seven white oat genotypes (URS Taura, URS Corona, URS Brava, URS Altiva, UFPA Ouro, IPR Artemis and IPR Afrodite) arranged in 4 repetitions per environment. The following characters were evaluated: final plant population, plant height, days until flowering, days until maturation, lodging and grain yield. The use of the Bayesian method provides greater accuracy in the selection of white oat genotypes with high phenotypic adaptability and stability. The genotypes URS Brava, IPR Aphrodite and UPFA Ouro are classified as highly adaptable to unfavorable environments. The genotypes IPR Artemis, URS Corona and URS Taura exhibited high adaptability to favorable environments. The URS Brava genotype is the ideal genotype and can be placed in any environments. The characters plant height and days from emergence to flowering can be used in indirect selection for grain productivity

This work aims to reveal control alternatives for foliar diseases through different anti-fungal molecules applied in pre-flowering in the linseed crop. The experiment took place in the experimental area of Escola Fazenda, Universidade Regional do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul - UNIJUÍ, located in the municipality of Augusto Pestana – RS. The experimental design used randomized blocks, with ten fungicide treatments in foliar application and three replications, totaling 30 experimental units. In the useful area of each experimental unit, the following characteristics were measured: plant height, plants per square meter, number of grains per plant, weight of grains per plant, grain yield, normalized green red difference index, green leaf index, spectral saturation index. The active ingredient Pyraclostrobin + Fluxapyroxad can contribute favorably to the maintenance of floral units, capsules and grains per plant. The correct positioning of the use of the molecule is decisive and requires further studies in linseed culture.Molecule rotation in the control of fungal diseases is essential to ensure sustainability and avoid the tolerance of pathogens to fungicides. Evidencing managements that promote greater efficiency in the control can contribute to increase the efficiency in the control of diseases. This work aims to reveal control alternatives for foliar diseases through different anti-fungal molecules applied in pre-flowering in the linseed crop. Afterwards, analysis of variance was carried out at 5% probability, with the significant variables, Tukey's test of multiple comparison of means was applied at the level of 5% of probability. In order to identify the tendency of association between the characters, Pearson's linear correlation was determined at 5% probability by t test. Optimized Method for Locating the Source of Voltage Sags

Short-Duration Voltage Variations (SDVVs) are the power quality disturbances (PQD) that mainly affect industrial systems, and are originated for various reasons, in particular short circuits over large areas, even those originating in remote points of the electrical system. The location problem aims to indicate the area or region or distance from the substation that is connected to the source causing the voltage sags, and is a fundamental task to ensure good power quality. One of the strategies used to determine the location of sources causing SDVVs and for an implementation of machine learning algorithms in modern distribution networks, called Smart Grids. Monitoring a Smart Grid plays a key role, however mostly it generates a large volume of data (Big Data) and as a result, multiple challenges arise due to the properties of this data such as volume, variety and velocity. This work presents an optimization through genetic algorithm to select meters which already exist in the Smart Grid, using a voltage sag location method in order to reduce the data obtained and analyzed throughout the localization process. Optimization was evaluated through a comparison with a non-optimized localization method, this comparison showed a difference between the hit rates of less than 1%

Objectives: to analyze the impact of social distance policies on the spread of COVID-19 and the need for beds in intensive care units.
