    Toda actividad investigadora presupone una práctica teórica mediada por la sobredeterminación de la actividad creativa. Un modo de producción es una relación social compleja que está en la base y es lógica de mediación social de las formas de pensamiento y enseñanza. En nuestro caso, de la Comunicología. No hay posibilidad de conocimiento sin trabajo. Toda mediación cognitiva es o presupone un proceso de producción. Eludir esto es negar la dimensión constitutiva esencial de toda obra o pensamiento, cuando no idealizar la llamada sociedad cognitiva. Si los procesos de acumulación por desposesión son una característica del modo contemporáneo de explotación capitalista, por otra parte, discutir los sistemas de propiedad intelectual y sus efectos en el conjunto de las industrias culturales y sistemas de información y conocimiento de la región se torna, a nuestro entender, una prioridad estratégica. Este esfuerzo apunta a repensar las formas de determinación del trabajo creativo, la jerarquización de los discursos científicos −y de las autorías− con la que hoy se encubren desigualdades de la división internacional del trabajo intelectual entre el Norte y el Sur globales

    The processes of production of the collective identities, the transformation and the acculturation of the forms of popular expression today they are shown us intimately connected with the dynamics of the social communication. In fact, the same notion of culture assumes, as indicates Williams, a communicative act in continuous dialogue with the other and its time. In the mass media, in the advertising and journalistic activity, in the cultural production industrialized, the cultural identities are produced and they conform through a complex process of symbolic consumption that requires to know in detail the bonds and existing relations among the mass media, the media cultures and the forms of popular expression in the contemporary companies. The consideration of these and other central questions in the study of the communication and the culture constitutes a line of investigation to consolidate as horizon of strategic knowledge in the comprehension of the media, the contents and the processes of public communication that transform the referring and cultural bosses. In this article, the scientific principles of this new perspective of analysis they are outlined, the terms and present tendencies of the academic debate, as well as the intellectual challenges of the investigation in communication in the framework of the cultural transformations initiated with the process of construction of it called global company of the information

    In this text the autor explores the main conflicts and trends in the Information Society by developing a critical diagnosis and proposals for what can be considered civilizing challenges in the new global culture. The hypothesis of the article is that the proposals for informative democratization should first be deconstructed on the basis of integrated thought in the globalized culture and, as something complementary, should also go through the political and cultural design for the Information Society using radical methods for active participation according to the principles of what has been called the “McBride spirit”. Such conditions need to be accompanied by a different culture and style of research that the critical theory still hasn´t taken on consistently in an ecosystem marked by its complexity, and by an accelerated social change
