Higgsino Dark Matter in Nonuniversal Gaugino Mass Models
We study two simple and well motivated nonuniversal gaugino mass models,
which predict higgsino dark matter. One can account for the observed dark
matter relic density along with the observed Higgs boson mass of ~ 125 GeV over
a large region of the parameter space of each model, corresponding to higgsino
mass of ~ 1 TeV. In each case this parameter region covers the gluino mass
range of 2-3 TeV, parts of which can be probed by the 14 TeV LHC experiments.
We study these model predictions for LHC in brief and for dark matter detection
experiments in greater detail.Comment: 35 pages, 11 figures, pdflatex, new references and a few relevant

Raman anomalies as signatures of pressure induced electronic topological and structural transitions in black phosphorus: Experiments and Theory
We report high pressure Raman experiments of Black phosphorus up to 24 GPa.
The line widths of first order Raman modes A, B and A of the
orthorhombic phase show a minimum at 1.1 GPa. Our first-principles density
functional analysis reveals that this is associated with the anomalies in
electron-phonon coupling at the semiconductor to topological insulator
transition through inversion of valence and conduction bands marking a change
from trivial to nontrivial electronic topology. The frequencies of B and
A modes become anomalous in the rhombohedral phase at 7.4 GPa, and new
modes appearing in the rhombohedral phase show anomalous softening with
pressure. This is shown to originate from unusual structural evolution of black
phosphorous with pressure, based on first-principles theoretical analysis.Comment: 13pages, 12figure
A Review on Beneficiation Prospect of Some of the Graphite Deposits of Palamu District of Bihar
Graphite constitutes one of the important minerals for the manufacture of special types of refractory materials. In nature it occurs both in crystalline as well as amorphous forms. It is reported to occur in almost every State of India. In Bihar economic deposits of graphite are confined to the district of Palamu only with some minor occurences in Monghyr and Ranchi districts. G.S.I has located some important workable deposits whose estimated total reserves amount to about 16 lakhs tonnes upto 20 meters depth. These depsits are poorer in grade but sometimes the fixed carbon content is of the order of 50% F.C. A few customary processing plants have also been put up by some private parties
Reheating furnace's soaking zone hearth refractories - a rational approach
The technology of steel processing subsequent to ingot casting, follows heating in soaking pit and rolling to form blooms, billets etc. Further reduction is carried out through heating and rolling to yield the final usable products. Reheating furnaces are used in reheating the "Semis" before they are used in secondary-processing
New classes of spin chains from SO(q)(N), Sp(q)(N) Temperley-Lieb algebras: Data transmission and (q, N) parametrized entanglement entropies
International audienceA Temperley-Lieb algebra is extracted from the operator structure of a new class of N2 ×N2 braid matrices presented and studied in previous papers and designated as S O(q)(N), S p(q)(N) for the q-deformed orthogonal and symplectic cases, respectively. Spin chain Hamiltonians are derived from such braid matrices and the corresponding chains are studied. Time evolutions of the chains and the possibility of transition of data encoded in the parameters of mixed states from one end to the other are analyzed. The entanglement entropies S(q, N) of eigenstates of the crucial operator, namely, the q-dependent N2 ×N2 projector P0 appearing in the corresponding Hamiltonian are obtained. Study of entanglements generated under the actions of S O(N), S p(N) braid operators, unitarized with imaginary rapidities (spectral parameters) is presented as a perspective
