Low Temperature Symmetry of Pyrochlore Oxide Cd2Re2O7
We report the X-ray study for the pyrochlore oxide Cd2Re2O7. Two
symmetry-lowering structural transitions were observed at Ts1=200K and
Ts2=120K. The former is of the second order from the ideal cubic pyrochlore
structure with space group Fd-3m to a tetragonally distorted structure with
I-4m2, while the latter is of the first order likely to another tetragonal
space group I4122. We discuss the feature of the lattice deformation.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
A q-analogue of gl_3 hierarchy and q-Painleve VI
A q-analogue of the gl_3 Drinfel'd-Sokolov hierarchy is proposed as a
reduction of the q-KP hierarchy. Applying a similarity reduction and a
q-Laplace transformation to the hierarchy, one can obtain the q-Painleve VI

The NLO QCD Corrections to Meson Production in Decays
The decay width of to meson is evaluated at the next-to-leading
order(NLO) accuracy in strong interaction. Numerical calculation shows that the
NLO correction to this process is remarkable. The quantum
chromodynamics(QCD)renormalization scale dependence of the results is obviously
depressed, and hence the uncertainties lying in the leading order calculation

Feynman rules for the rational part of the Electroweak 1-loop amplitudes
We present the complete set of Feynman rules producing the rational terms of
kind R_2 needed to perform any 1-loop calculation in the Electroweak Standard
Model. Our results are given both in the 't Hooft-Veltman and in the Four
Dimensional Helicity regularization schemes. We also verified, by using both
the 't Hooft-Feynman gauge and the Background Field Method, a huge set of Ward
identities -up to 4-points- for the complete rational part of the Electroweak
amplitudes. This provides a stringent check of our results and, as a
by-product, an explicit test of the gauge invariance of the Four Dimensional
Helicity regularization scheme in the complete Standard Model at 1-loop. The
formulae presented in this paper provide the last missing piece for completely
automatizing, in the framework of the OPP method, the 1-loop calculations in
the SU(3) X SU(2) X U(1) Standard Model.Comment: Many thanks to Huasheng Shao for having recomputed, independently of

A Study of the PDGF Signaling Pathway with PRISM
In this paper, we apply the probabilistic model checker PRISM to the analysis
of a biological system -- the Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) signaling
pathway, demonstrating in detail how this pathway can be analyzed in PRISM. We
show that quantitative verification can yield a better understanding of the

Towards W b bbar + j at NLO with an automatized approach to one-loop computations
We present results for the O(alpha_s) virtual corrections to q g -> W b bbar
q' obtained with a new automatized approach to the evaluation of one-loop
amplitudes in terms of Feynman diagrams. Together with the O(alpha_s)
corrections to q q' -> W b bbar g, which can be obtained from our results by
crossing symmetry, this represents the bulk of the next-to-leading order
virtual QCD corrections to W b bbar + j and W b + j hadronic production,
calculated in a fixed-flavor scheme with four light flavors. Furthermore, these
corrections represent a well defined and independent subset of the 1-loop
amplitudes needed for the NNLO calculation of W b bbar. Our approach was tested
against several existing results for NLO amplitudes including selected
O(alpha_s) one-loop corrections to W + 3 j hadronic production. We discuss the
efficiency of our method both with respect to evaluation time and numerical

NLO QCD corrections to WZ+jet production with leptonic decays
We compute the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to WZ+jet production at
the Tevatron and the LHC, including decays of the electroweak bosons to light
leptons with all off-shell effects taken into account. The corrections are
sizable and have significant impact on the differential distributions.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figure
The impact of heavy-quark loops on LHC dark matter searches
If only tree-level processes are included in the analysis, LHC monojet
searches give weak constraints on the dark matter-proton scattering cross
section arising from the exchange of a new heavy scalar or pseudoscalar
mediator with Yukawa-like couplings to quarks. In this letter we calculate the
constraints on these interactions from the CMS 5.0/fb and ATLAS 4.7/fb searches
for jets with missing energy including the effects of heavy-quark loops. We
find that the inclusion of such contributions leads to a dramatic increase in
the predicted cross section and therefore a significant improvement of the

Semiclassical Wigner distribution for two-mode entangled state
We derive the steady state solution of the Fokker-Planck equation that
describes the dynamics of the nondegenerate optical parametric oscillator in
the truncated Wigner representation of the density operator. We assume that the
pump mode is strongly damped, which permits its adiabatic elimination. When the
elimination is correctly executed, the resulting stochastic equations contain
multiplicative noise terms, and do not admit a potential solution. However, we
develop an heuristic scheme leading to a satisfactory steady-state solution.
This provides a clear view of the intracavity two-mode entangled state valid in
all operating regimes of the OPO. A nongaussian distribution is obtained for
