Darshana Shastra is the outcome of comprehensive perception of nature, which explains and narrate the state of human existence. Darshanas and Ayurveda both are having same source that is Veda. Objectives of Ayurveda is to accomplish the physical, mental, social and spiritual well being by adopting the preventive and promotive approach as well as treating the diseases with various remissive approaches. Darshanas are the path to get free from miseries and to attain ultimate happiness i.e., Moksha which is the goal of life. Yoga Darshana is one of the oldest practices of Hindu tradition which is considered as path for Moksha. Tattvas of Yoga Darshana are merely influenced on Ayurveda. So, it is a need of hour to study the historical background of Yoga Darshana and some Sanskrit scholars explains that, Praneta of Charaka Samhita, Mahabhashya and Yoga Shastra was the same person. This paper throws a light on critical analysis of Charaka and Patanjali

Chromosomal duplications and cointegrates generated by the bacteriophage lamdba Red system in Escherichia coli K-12

BACKGROUND: An Escherichia coli strain in which RecBCD has been genetically replaced by the bacteriophage λ Red system engages in efficient recombination between its chromosome and linear double-stranded DNA species sharing sequences with the chromosome. Previous studies of this experimental system have focused on a gene replacement-type event, in which a 3.5 kbp dsDNA consisting of the cat gene and flanking lac operon sequences recombines with the E. coli chromosome to generate a chloramphenicol-resistant Lac- recombinant. The dsDNA was delivered into the cell as part of the chromosome of a non-replicating λ vector, from which it was released by the action of a restriction endonuclease in the infected cell. This study characterizes the genetic requirements and outcomes of a variety of additional Red-promoted homologous recombination events producing Lac+ recombinants. RESULTS: A number of observations concerning recombination events between the chromosome and linear DNAs were made: (1) Formation of Lac+ and Lac- recombinants depended upon the same recombination functions. (2) High multiplicity and high chromosome copy number favored Lac+ recombinant formation. (3) The Lac+ recombinants were unstable, segregating Lac- progeny. (4) A tetracycline-resistance marker in a site of the phage chromosome distant from cat was not frequently co-inherited with cat. (5) Recombination between phage sequences in the linear DNA and cryptic prophages in the chromosome was responsible for most of the observed Lac+ recombinants. In addition, observations were made concerning recombination events between the chromosome and circular DNAs: (6) Formation of recombinants depended upon both RecA and, to a lesser extent, Red. (7) The linked tetracycline-resistance marker was frequently co-inherited in this case. CONCLUSIONS: The Lac+ recombinants arise from events in which homologous recombination between the incoming linear DNA and both lac and cryptic prophage sequences in the chromosome generates a partial duplication of the bacterial chromosome. When the incoming DNA species is circular rather than linear, cointegrates are the most frequent type of recombinant

Randomized clinical trial to evaluate ferric carboxymaltose and iron sucrose for treatment of postpartum anaemia in a tertiary hospital

Background: Ferric carboxymaltose and iron sucrose are two iron carbohydrate complexes optimized for iron delivery and extensively used in postpartum anaemia. This study compares the efficacy and safety of ferric carboxymaltose with that of iron sucrose in patients with postpartum anaemia. Methods: One hundred women diagnosed with postpartum anaemia were randomized prospectively in a 1:1 ratio to receive either ferric carboxymaltose or iron sucrose. Fifty patients received intravenous iron carboxymaltose depending on the iron deficit at rate of 1000 mg/week and fifty patients received intravenous iron sucrose at a rate of 200 mg/day on alternate days till the calculated dose is given. Results: Fifty patients were enrolled in each treatment group. Both groups showed increases in mean haemoglobin from baseline at 2 weeks and 6 weeks. The increase in haemoglobin was significantly higher in ferric carboxymaltose group compared to iron sucrose at both week 2 (2.64±0.91 versus 2.17±0.76; p=0.010) and week 6 timepoints (4.65±1.17 versus 3.96±1.06; p=0.005). The proportion of patients achieving target haemoglobin of 12 gm/dl was significantly higher in ferric carboxymaltose group compared to iron sucrose at week 6 (77.3% versus 50.0%; p=0.013). The incidence of adverse events was similar across treatment groups and no specific safety concerns were observed. Conclusions: Both ferric carboxymaltose and iron sucrose caused increase in baseline haemoglobin. Ferric carboxymaltose had significantly higher increases in haemoglobin compared to iron sucrose at both follow up timepoints (week 2 and week 6). It was more likely to achieve target haemoglobin with ferric carboxymaltose within 6 weeks compared to iron sucrose. Ferric carboxymaltose may be considered in women with postpartum anaemia for faster rise in haemoglobin while requiring fewer injections compared to iron sucrose

Today Android has the biggest market share as compared to other operating system for smart phone. As users are continuously increasing day by day the Security is one of the main concerns for Smartphone users. As the features and power of Smartphone are increase, so that they has their vulnerability for attacks by Malwares. But the android is the operating system which is more secure than any other operating systems available for Smart phones. The Android operating system has very few restrictions for developers and it will increase the security risk for end users. I am proposing an android application which is able to perform dynamic analysis on android program. To perform this analysis i have to deploy the android application, In this proposed system I am going to deploy android application on a cloud. This application executes automatically without any human interaction. It automatically detects malware by using pattern matching algorithm. If malware get detected then user get inform that particular application is malicious and restrict the user from installing application. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.150315

An Investigation on the Influence of Modeling Approach and Load Pattern on Seismic Performance of RC Structures

    Get PDF
Non-linear Static Analysis serves as a suitable measure to evaluate the performance of a structural system. The careful selection of modelling approach and the load pattern is critical to arrive at an adequate performance evaluation. The present study seeks to evaluate and compare the response of an existing eight story reinforced concrete structure, through the application of different modeling approaches and load patterns prescribed by FEMA 356. The results indicates that, with extreme clarity, that in all cases, the shape of the lateral load distribution is what the response of the buildings is finely accustomed to. This is especially true when different patterns of load are considered. It can also be observed that there is a very small difference between various load patterns

Housing conditions, knowledge and perceived health effects of indoor air pollution in tribal women of rural Maharashtra

Background: Dependence on using biomass fuels for cooking and heating leads to Indoor Air Pollution (IAP) which can lead to adverse health outcomes. Aim of this study was to observe the housing and kitchen conditions in households of tribal areas, assess the knowledge of women regarding the IAP and perceived health effects due to it.Methods: Cross-sectional community- based study conducted in 100 women above the age of 18 years in a tribal village. A semi-structured questionnaire was used and spot observations were made. Chi-Square was used to calculate the association between type of stove, housing conditions and health effects of IAP. Logistic regression was used to identify determinants of the health effects of IAP.Results: The mean age of women was 29 years; all houses had a separate kitchen; 34% used mud stove with wood. Easy availability and economic reasons were cited for using wood. 47% of women thought IAP present in their homes and the most common source was cooking. Symptoms like asthma, sweating, burns/rash, and headache had a significantly higher association in women using mud stove (P<0.05) than LPG stove. A strong association was found between cooking hours and health effects due to IAP (P< 0.004).Conclusions: IAP due to cooking and unfavorable housing conditions are associated with health problems in women. Knowledge regarding IAP is poor. Reasons for reliance on using mud stove needs to be addressed
