Lepton Mass Effects in Single Pion Production by Neutrinos
We reconsider the Feynman-Kislinger-Ravndal model applied to
neutrino-excitation of baryon resonances. The effects of lepton mass are
included, using the formalism of Kuzmin, Lyubushkin and Naumov. In addition we
take account of the pion-pole contribution to the hadronic axial vector
current. Application of this new formalism to the reaction nu(mu) + p --> mu +
Delta at E(nu) approx 1 GeV gives a suppressed cross section at small angles,
in agreement with the screening correction in Adler's forward scattering
theorem. Application to the process nu(tau) + p --> tau + Delta at E(nu) approx
7 GeV leads to the prediction of right-handed tau polarization for
forward-going leptons, in line with a calculation based on an isobar model. Our
formalism represents an improved version of the Rein-Sehgal model,
incorporating lepton mass effects in a manner consistent with PCAC.Comment: 14 pages, 5 figures. Typos in eq. 9 and 27 corrected. Numbers in

Glueball Spin
The spin of a glueball is usually taken as coming from the spin (and possibly
the orbital angular momentum) of its constituent gluons. In light of the
difficulties in accounting for the spin of the proton from its constituent
quarks, the spin of glueballs is reexamined. The starting point is the
fundamental QCD field angular momentum operator written in terms of the
chromoelectric and chromomagnetic fields. First, we look at the restrictions
placed on the structure of glueballs from the requirement that the QCD field
angular momentum operator should satisfy the standard commutation
relationships. This can be compared to the electromagnetic charge/monopole
system, where the quantization of the field angular momentum places
restrictions (i.e. the Dirac condition) on the system. Second, we look at the

Bounds on Cross-sections and Lifetimes for Dark Matter Annihilation and Decay into Charged Leptons from Gamma-ray Observations of Dwarf Galaxies
We provide conservative bounds on the dark matter cross-section and lifetime
from final state radiation produced by annihilation or decay into charged
leptons, either directly or via an intermediate particle . Our analysis
utilizes the experimental gamma-ray flux upper limits from four Milky Way dwarf
satellites: HESS observations of Sagittarius and VERITAS observations of Draco,
Ursa Minor, and Willman 1. Using 90% confidence level lower limits on the
integrals over the dark matter distributions, we find that these constraints
are largely unable to rule out dark matter annihilations or decays as an
explanation of the PAMELA and ATIC/PPB-BETS excesses. However, if there is an
additional Sommerfeld enhancement in dwarfs, which have a velocity dispersion
~10 to 20 times lower than that of the local Galactic halo, then the
cross-sections for dark matter annihilating through 's required to
explain the excesses are very close to the cross-section upper bounds from
Willman 1. Dark matter annihilation directly into 's is also marginally
ruled out by Willman 1 as an explanation of the excesses, and the required
cross-section is only a factor of a few below the upper bound from Draco.
Finally, we make predictions for the gamma-ray flux expected from the dwarf
galaxy Segue 1 for the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. We find that for a
sizeable fraction of the parameter space in which dark matter annihilation into
charged leptons explains the PAMELA excess, Fermi has good prospects for
detecting a gamma-ray signal from Segue 1 after one year of observation.Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures. References added. Final published versio
The CP-violating asymmetry in \eta\to\pi^+ \pi^- e^+e^-
We study the CP-violating asymmetry {\cal A}_{\rm CP}, which arises, in
\eta\to\pi^+\pi^- e^+e^-, from the angular correlation of the e^+ e^- and
\pi^+\pi^- planes due to the interference between the magnetic and electric
decay amplitudes. With the phenomenologically determined magnetic amplitude and
branching ratio as input, the asymmetry, induced by the electric bremsstrahlung
amplitude through the CP-violating decay \eta\to\pi^+\pi^-, and by an
unconventional tensor type operator, has been estimated respectively. The upper
bound of {\cal A}_{\rm CP} from the former is about 10^{-3}, and the asymmetry
from the latter might be up to O(10^{-2}). One can therefore expect that this
CP asymmetry would be an interesting CP-violating observable for the future

Baryon Magnetic Moments and Proton Spin: A Model with Collective Quark Rotation
We analyse the baryon magnetic moments in a model that relates them to the
parton spins , , , and includes a contribution
from orbital angular momentum. The specific assumption is the existence of a
3-quark correlation (such as a flux string) that rotates with angular momentum
around the proton spin axis. A fit to the baryon magnetic
moments, constrained by the measured values of the axial vector coupling
constants , , yields , , where the error is a theoretical
estimate. A second fit, under slightly different assumptions, gives , with no constraint on . The
model provides a consistent description of axial vector couplings, magnetic
moments and the quark polarization measured in deep
inelastic scattering. The fits suggest that a significant part of the angular
momentum of the proton may reside in a collective rotation of the constituent

Positronium Decay : Gauge Invariance and Analyticity
The construction of positronium decay amplitudes is handled through the use
of dispersion relations. In this way, emphasis is put on basic QED principles:
gauge invariance and soft-photon limits (analyticity).
A firm grounding is given to the factorization approaches, and some
ambiguities in the spin and energy structures of the positronium wavefunction
are removed. Non-factorizable amplitudes are naturally introduced. Their
dynamics is described, especially regarding the enforcement of gauge invariance
and analyticity through delicate interferences. The important question of the
completeness of the present theoretical predictions for the decay rates is then
addressed. Indeed, some of those non-factorizable contributions are unaccounted
for by NRQED analyses. However, it is shown that such new contributions are
highly suppressed, being of order alpha^3.
Finally, a particular effective form factor formalism is constructed for
parapositronium, allowing a thorough analysis of binding energy effects and

Searching for dominant rescattering sources in B to two pseudoscalar decays
Various rescattering sources are analyzed in the context of the SU(3) flavor
symmetry. In particular, the possibility to account for intermediate charm at
the hadronic level in B to PP is thoroughly investigated. Then, the
rescattering sources are compared in light of recent B to two charmless
pseudoscalar decay measurements, with emphasis on the size of strong phases and

Two aspects in relation to host Lipaphis erysimi and parasitoid Diaeretiella rapae are studied. It in found that parasitization percentage depond on the host as well as the parasitoid density. Even single copulated female. Diaeretiella rapae in capable of parasiting 94 aphids within the three days. If number of host decrease super parasitism may also occur. Parasitization also effect the development rate of the parasitoid and it depends upon the stage of the host aphid. In I and II Instar nymphs of aphid development of Diaeretiella rapae is delayed and in other stages of aphid nymphs, normal development occurs
