Phase synchronization in an array of driven Josephson junctions
We consider an array of N Josephson junctions connected in parallel and
explore the condition for chaotic synchronization. It is found that the outer
junctions can be synchronized while they remain uncorrelated to the inner ones
when an external biasing is applied. The stability of the solution is found out
for the outer junctions in the synchronization manifold. Symmetry
considerations lead to a situation wherein the inner junctions can synchronize
for certain values of parameter. In the presence of a phase difference between
the applied fields, all the junctions exhibit phase synchronization. It is also
found that chaotic motion changes to periodic in the presence of phase
differences.Comment: 13 pages, 6 figures, accepted for publication in "CHAOS
Dynamics of coupled Josephson junctions under the influence of applied fields
We investigate the effect of the phase difference of applied fields on the
dynamics of mutually coupled Josephson junction.
The system desynchronizes for any value of applied phase difference and the
dynamics even changes from chaotic to periodic motion for some values of
applied phase difference. We report that by keeping the value of phase
difference as , the system continues to be in periodic motion for a wide
range of system parameter values which might be of great practical
applications.Comment: 13 pages 13 figure
Phase effects on synchronization by dynamical relaying in delay-coupled systems
Synchronization in an array of mutually coupled systems with a finite
time-delay in coupling is studied using Josephson junction as a model system.
The sum of the transverse Lyapunov exponents is evaluated as a function of the
parameters by linearizing the equation about the synchronization manifold. The
dependence of synchronization on damping parameter, coupling constant and
time-delay is studied numerically. The change in the dynamics of the system due
to time-delay and phase difference between the applied fields is studied. The
case where a small frequency detuning between the applied fields is also
discussed.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figures, Accepted for publication in "CHAOS
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence Accessibility,Power Electric,Water Supply, Roominess, The Floor Level of Residential Rental in Economic Region and Education Region and the was difference between residential rental in economic and education region. Data used in this study are primary data obtained from interviews with respondents who guided the list of questions. analyze by using Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result showed that variable of Power Electric, Water Supply and Roominess have significant effect to Residential Rental and then Accessibility and The Floor Level have not significant effect to Residential Rental in Economic Region and Education Region. Variable of Power Electric and The Floor Level have negative effect to Residential Rental. There is differences residential rental in Economic and Education Region. Residential rental in Education Region is greater than Economic Region
Effect of random interactions in spin baths on decoherence
We study the decoherence of a central spin 1/2 induced by a spin bath with
intrabath interactions. Since we are interested in the cumulative effect of
interaction and disorder, we study baths comprising Ising spins with random
ferro- and antiferromagnetic interactions between the spins. Using the
resolvent operator method which goes beyond the standard Born-Markov master
equation approach, we show that, in the weak coupling regime, the decoherence
of the central spin at all times is entirely determined by the local-field
distribution or equivalently, the dynamical structure factor of the Ising bath.
We present analytic results for the Ising spin chain bath at arbitrary
temperature for different distributions of the intrabath interaction strengths.
We find clear evidence of non-Markovian behavior in the low temperature regime.
We also consider baths described by Ising models on higher-dimensional
lattices. We find that interactions lead to a significant reduction of the
decoherence. An important feature of interacting spinbaths is the saturation of
the asymptotic Markovian decay rate at high temperatures, as opposed to the
conventional Ohmic boson bath.Comment: 13 page
Creation and annihilation of fluxons in ac-driven semi-annular Josephson junction
The dynamical behavior of a fluxon in a semi-annular long Josephson junction
in the presence of an ac-drive is studied. The non-uniformity due to the non
uniform distribution of bias current is investigated. The oscillating potential
is found to increase the depinning current. Finite difference method is used
for numerical analysis and the response of the system to the ac-bias is
studied. The creation and annihilation of fluxon is also demonstrated
numerically for the first, second and third Zero-Field step cases.Comment: 10 pages 8 figure
