The Higgs decay rate to two photons in a model with two fermiophobic-Higgs doublets
We consider a three Higgs doublet model with an symmetry in which
beside the SM-like doublet there are two fermiophobic doublets. Due to the new
charged scalars there is an enhancement in the two-photon decay while the other
channels have the same decay widths that the SM neutral Higgs. The fermiophobic
scalars are mass degenerated unless soft terms breaking the symmetry are
added.Comment: typos were corrected, the figures have been modified and the

Current Algebra in the Path Integral framework
In this letter we describe an approach to the current algebra based in the
Path Integral formalism. We use this method for abelian and non-abelian quantum
field theories in 1+1 and 2+1 dimensions and the correct expressions are
obtained. Our results show the independence of the regularization of the
current algebras.Comment: 8 pages, Revtex. One reference added. To appear in Mod. Phys. Lett.

On the Orbital Period of the Intermediate Polar 1WGA J1958.2+3232
Recently, Norton et al. 2002, on the basis of multiwavelength photometry of
1WGA J1958.2+3232, argued that the -1 day alias of the strongest peak in the
power spectrum is the true orbital period of the system, casting doubts on the
period estimated by Zharikov et al. 2001. We re-analyzed this system using our
photometric and spectroscopic data along with the data kindly provided by Andy
Norton and confirm our previous finding. After refining our analysis we find
that the true orbital period of this binary system is 4.35h.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures, Accepted for publication in A&A Letter
Resonance enhancement of particle production during reheating
We found a consistent equation of reheating after inflation, which shows that
for small quantum fluctuations the frequencies of resonance are slighted
different from the standard ones. Quantum interference is taken into account
and we found that at large fluctuations the process mimics very well the usual
parametric resonance but proceed in a different dynamical way. The analysis is
made in a toy quantum mechanical model and we discuss further its extension to
quantum field theory.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures(eps), using RevTe
Abstract: This document studies the consequences of informality over informal and formal firms as well as the impact of the new program for firms´ registration -CAEs- created recently in the six principal cities of Colombia. The analysis uses data from the 2001 Encuesta 123, the 2005 Enterprise Census of Cali and Yumbo, the 2007 Investment Climate Survey and firms´ registration data from the Chambers of Commerce (matrículas mercantiles"). Estimations show that informal firms face on average loweraccess to credit and training programs, higher problems with technical service and lower profits per worker than formal firms. In addition, formal registration of new firms increased by 5.2 percent after the introduction of CAE."Informalidad, informalidad empresarial, Colombia.Informality, firms´ informality, Colombia.
A review of international pharmacy-based minor ailment services and proposed service design model
© 2018 Elsevier Inc. Background: The need to consider sustainable healthcare solutions is essential. An innovative strategy used to promote minor ailment care is the utilisation of community pharmacists to deliver minor ailment services (MASs). Promoting higher levels of self-care can potentially reduce the strain on existing resources. Aim: To explore the features of international MASs, including their similarities and differences, and consider the essential elements to design a MAS model. Methods: A grey literature search strategy was completed in June 2017 to comply with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses standard. This included (1) Google/Yahoo! search engines, (2) targeted websites, and (3) contact with commissioning organisations. Executive summaries, table of contents and title pages of documents were reviewed. Key characteristics of MASs were extracted and a MAS model was developed. Results: A total of 147 publications were included in the review. Key service elements identified included eligibility, accessibility, staff involvement, reimbursement systems. Several factors need to be considered when designing a MAS model; including contextualisation of MAS to the market. Stakeholder engagement, service planning, governance, implementation and review have emerged as key aspects involved with a design model. Conclusion: MASs differ in their structural parameters. Consideration of these parameters is necessary when devising MAS aims and assessing outcomes to promote sustainability and success of the service
Dimensionality reduction via an orthogonal autoencoder approach for hyperspectral image classification
Nowadays, the increasing amount of information provided by hyperspectral sensors requires optimal solutions to ease the subsequent analysis of the produced data. A common issue in this matter relates to the hyperspectral data representation for classification tasks. Existing approaches address the data representation problem by performing a dimensionality reduction over the original data. However, mining complementary features that reduce the redundancy from the multiple levels of hyperspectral images remains challenging. Thus, exploiting the representation power of neural networks based techniques becomes an attractive alternative in this matter. In this work, we propose a novel dimensionality reduction implementation for hyperspectral imaging based on autoencoders, ensuring the orthogonality among features to reduce the redundancy in hyperspectral data. The experiments conducted on the Pavia University, the Kennedy Space Center, and Botswana hyperspectral datasets evidence such representation power of our approach, leading to better classification performances compared to traditional hyperspectral dimensionality reduction algorithms
De la mediación pedagógica y los rasgos clave biopedagógicos hacia los cambios trascendentales en las prácticas de TEFL.
The present article offers a literary review and description of the educational mediation notions and their relationship with the Bio-pedagogy features in education. This description is specifically oriented to the crucial changes in education that have also affected the TEFL practices. In a nutshell, the purpose here is not to portray a teacher’s model but to be concerned about some features that would encourage the teaching experience with pedagogical mediations. The bibliographic search method was performed through the ERIC, SCIELO, SAGE, and Editorial Magisterio databases. The exploration was developed under the following stages: familiarization with the content of the documents, preliminary classification, selection and extraction of the most relevant information, verification of the concepts, and synthesis of the information. Pedagogical mediation occurs here when apprentices’ emotions and identities become the main pretext to mediate meaningful learning activities attending their second language needs. Finally, this article presents a personal concern about pedagogical mediation in my mediation experience.
