Új módszertani lehetőségek és ezek alkalmazása a hormonális rendszer daganatainak genetikai kivizsgálásában
The technical developments leading to revolution in clinical genetic testing offer new approaches for patients with cancer. From one mutation or one gene approach the scale of genetic testing moved to whole exome or whole genome scale. It is well known that many tumours are genetically determined ans they are part of familial tumour syndromes. In addition, some mutations indicate specific molecular targeted therapies. Although sampling and sample preparation are different for testing germline and somatic mutations, the technical background of the analysis is the same. The aim of clinical genetic testing is to identify patients who are carriers of disease-causing mutations or to test tumour tissue for the presence of genetic alterations which may be targets for therapeutic approaches. In this review the authors summarize novel possibilities offered by next-generation sequencing in clinical genetic testing of patients with endocrine tumours. In addition, the authors review recent guidelines on technical and ethical issues related to these novel methods. Orv. Hetil., 2015, 156(51), 2063-2069
N2-Fixierleistung von Sojabohnen und Erbsen im ökologischen Anbau
The aim of this study was to detect the N2-fixation of soybeans and peas in organic farming for improvement of the economic evaluation. Therefore experiments were established in Forchheim am Kaiserstuhl and Hohenkammer in 2015. The N2-fixation is calculated by the difference method after Stülpnagel with the extension III after Hauser. The results at both sites are quite different with regard to the soybeans. A much higher N2-fixation was calculated at the site of Hohenkammer, whereas the results for the peas are in a similar range for both sites
Induced Magnetic Ordering by Proton Irradiation in Graphite
We provide evidence that proton irradiation of energy 2.25 MeV on
highly-oriented pyrolytic graphite samples triggers ferro- or ferrimagnetism.
Measurements performed with a superconducting quantum interferometer device
(SQUID) and magnetic force microscopy (MFM) reveal that the magnetic ordering
is stable at room temperature.Comment: 3 Figure

An Experimental Hybrid User Interface for Collaboration
We present EMMIE (Environment Management for Multi-user Information Environments), an experimental user interface to a collaborative augmented environment. Users share a 3D virtual space and manipulate virtual objects representing information to be discussed. This approach not only allows for cooperation in a shared physical space, but also addresses tele-collaboration in physically separate but virtually shared spaces. We refer to EMMIE as a hybrid user interface because it combines a variety of different technologies and techniques, including virtual elements such as 3D widgets, and physical objects such as tracked displays and input devices. See-through head-worn displays overlay the virtual environment on the physical environment. Our research prototype includes additional 2D and 3D displays, ranging from palm-sized to wall-sized, allowing the most appropriate one to be used for any task. Objects can be moved among displays (including across dimensionalities) through drag & drop. In analogy to 2D window managers, we describe a prototype implementation of a shared 3Denvironment manager that is distributed across displays, machines, and operating systems. We also discuss two methods we are exploring for handling information privacy in such an environment
Ertragsstabilität und Qualität von Weizensortenmischungen im Ökologischen Anbau
Disease development, yield and baking quality were assessed on the winter wheat cultivars Arina and Capo and their 1:1 mixture in a total of 12 sites on-farm in 2002/2003. Due to a severe drought disease severities were very low and probably had little effect on the plants. The more drought tolerant variety Capo over-yielded in mixtures on average by 21% while Arina yielded in mixtures as expected. Protein and gluten contents and baking volume in pure stands of Arina were usually higher than for Capo. Both varieties changed their quality parameters in mixtures. However, the parameters of the mixtures were not equal to the mean of the pure stands indicating some unknown interactions. The quality parameters of each variety or mixture were compared to the mean of all treatments in a given site allowing for regression analysis across sites. Capo was least able to improve its quality in reaction to improved site potential (expressed as mean baking volume) (slope: 0.64) while the mixtures reacted strongest (slope: 1.47). This indicates that mixtures might be better able to profit from good growing conditions than pure stands
