Efektivitas Metode Edukasi Audiovisual terhadap Self Management pada Pasien Hipertensi

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of audiovisual education methods on self management in hypertensive patients. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pre and post test design, with a total sample of 38 respondents consisting of an intervention group and a control group. Obtained a significant difference in the average self-management of the intervention group after the audiovisual education method was performed with (p = 0,000). There was no relationship between age (p = 0.71), sex (p = 0.955) and self-management in hypertensive patients. While self management will increase after the audiovisual education method is carried out and controlled by knowledge (p = 0.005). The conclusion of this study is the audiovisual education method can improve self management in hypertensive patients.  Keywords: Audiovisual Education, Hypertension, Self Managemen

Pengaruh Puasa Ramadhan terhadap Kadar Gula Darah pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II

This study aims to determine the effect of Ramadan fasting on blood sugar levels in diabetics in Purwakarta City Health Center, West Java. The research design used a quasi-experimental pre and post test with control group. The results of this study using the T-Independent test of fasting differences in blood sugar levels after Ramadan fasting in the control group and the intervention group obtained p value = 0.039 <α = 0.05. This means that the results of this study indicate the effect of Ramadan fasting on blood sugar levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at Puskesmas Kota Purwakarta. In conclusion, carrying out fasting in the month of Ramadan can be used as an alternative diet method that has positive benefits if it is carried out by people with type II diabetes mellitus, which can lower blood sugar to make it more stable.   Keywords: Type II Diabetes Mellitus, Blood Sugar Levels, Ramadan Fastin

Pengaruh Puasa Ramadhan terhadap Kadar Gula Darah pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Ramadan Fasting towards blood sugar levels in diabetics in the health center in West Java of Purwakarta. The design of this research uses quasi experiment of pre and post test with the control group, the method uses Purposive sampling done by the sum of 36 samples of respondents. The results of this research are using Independent T-test fast differences in blood sugar levels after fasting Ramadaan in the control group and the intervention group obtained the value of p = 0.039 < α = 0.05. Conclusion the results of this study showed the presence of the influence of fasting of Ramadan towards blood sugar levels in type II diabetes mellitus patients in Healty Center of Purwakarta. It can be concluded that fasting during Ramadan can be used as an alternative diet method that has positive benefits if it is run by type II diabetes mellitus patients which can reduce blood sugar to be more stable.  Keywords: Ramadhan Fasting, Blood Glukose Level, Diabetic Mellitus Type I

Pengaruh Edukasi Pendekatan Spiritual Berbasis Video terhadap Kepatuhan Pembatasan Cairan Klien ESRD yang Menjalani Hemodialisa

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education with a video-based spiritual approach to compliance with fluid restriction or interdialysis weight gain in End Stage Renal Disease clients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The research design used was pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. The results showed a difference in the average Interdialysis Weight Gain after education with a video-based spiritual approach (p value = 0.011;). While there is a proven relationship between family support (p value = 0, 047) with adherence to fluid restriction or interdialysis weight gain, while age (p value = 0.364), education level (p value = 0.949) has no relationship with adherence to fluid restriction or interdialysis weight gain. Conclusion, education with a spiritual approach can improve compliance with fluid restrictions in clients undergoing hemodialysis.   Keywords: End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Spiritual Based Vide

Efektivitas Exercise Intradialisis Menggunakan Barbell dan Range of Motion (ROM) terhadap Adekuasi Hemodialisa pada Pasien Penyakit Ginjal Kronik

The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of intradialysis exercise using barbells and Range of Motion (ROM) on the adequacy of hemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney disease in the hemodialysis room of RSIJ Sukapura in 2018. The design of this study uses a design with non-probability pre and post test two groups without control design . The result of the difference in the effectiveness of the adequacy values between the two intervention groups after the intervention was given was the barbell intervention obtained 1,33 with a standard deviation of 0.485, an error standard of 0.114. Whereas in the ROM intervention group 1.67 the standard deviation was 0.485, the standard error was 0.114 and the p-value was 0.047 (> 0.05). Pengaruh Pemberian Permen Karet Xylitol terhadap Kesehatan Mulut (Xerostomia) pada Pasien Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of xylitol gum administration in CKD patients. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a pre post test design with a total sample of 20 respondents. Oral health of respondents was measured using the OHIP questionnaire with a Likert scale and scoring. The results showed there were differences in oral health before and after being given xylitol gum with a value of ρ value <0.05. This study aims to identify the effect of 1 minute hyperoxygenation on the suctioning process on oxygen saturation of patients with mechanical ventilators. Quasi experimental research design pre-post test with control group design. The results showed oxygen I saturation before median hyperoxygenation 97 min 95-99, after median hyperoxygenation 99 min 98-100 with p value 0.05. While in the intervention group II before median hyperoxygenation 97 min 95-100, after median hyperoxygenation 99 min 95-100, with p value 0.05. Efektifitas Foot Spa Diabetic terhadap Nilai Ankle Brachial Index pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II

The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of diabetic foot spa towards ankle brachial index. Design of this study is Quasy-Experiment with two group. The population were all diabetes mellitus patients type 2 in Public Health Centre Wawonasa Manado. Number of sample was 32 person, divided into 2 group, that are treatment group during 3 and 5 time, with 16 person each group, taken by purposive sampling technique. Data analyzed by Mann-Whitney test with α=0.05. Study results on difference between ABI treatment 3 dan 5 time. Analysis of Mann-Whitney test P=0.112> α=0.05, with average ABI in treatment group during 3 and 5 time pre test 0.012 and post test 0.0562, which means diabetic foot spa 3 and 5 time is effective towards ABI.   Keywords: Ankle Brachial Index, DM Type 2, Foot Spa Diabeti

Paket Edukasi Kelompok dan Peran Model Menurunkan Tingkat Isolasi Sosial Pasien HIV/AIDS

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of group education packages and the role of the model in reducing the social isolation scores of PLWHA in Tangerang District General Hospital. This type of quantitative research is quasi-experimental, pre-test and post-test with control group design. The results of the dependent t-test obtained a mean score of social isolation before the intervention 57.78 and after the intervention 54.44 (p value 0.00 or p <0.05). The conclusion of the study is the effect of group education packages and the role of the model on the reduction of social isolation scores in PLWHA in Tangerang District General Hospital.
