Tissue macerating instrument
A surgical tissue macerating and removal tool is described which has a rotating rod with a cutting member at one end and which disposed in a tube which is then contained in an extension of the tool handle. A frusto-conical member extends into the extension at the cutter member end of the rotating rod with its small end engaging the tube. The portion of the frusto-conical member outside of the extension forms a tissue engaging member and may be cut-off at an angle to the axis of the rod to form a tissue engaging edge. Apertures are provided in the extension adjacent the frusto-concial member so that treatment fluid supplied in the annular space between the tube and the extension may flow to the operative site. An aperture is provided in the frustoconical member between the extension and the tube so that fluid may also flow into the tube where it mixes with macerated tissue being directed through an aperture in the tube to a passageway which may have suction applied to help remove macerated material

Quantum Walks with Entangled Coins
We present a mathematical formalism for the description of unrestricted
quantum walks with entangled coins and one walker. The numerical behaviour of
such walks is examined when using a Bell state as the initial coin state, two
different coin operators, two different shift operators, and one walker. We
compare and contrast the performance of these quantum walks with that of a
classical random walk consisting of one walker and two maximally correlated
coins as well as quantum walks with coins sharing different degrees of
entanglement.
We illustrate that the behaviour of our walk with entangled coins can be very
different in comparison to the usual quantum walk with a single coin. We also
demonstrate that simply by changing the shift operator, we can generate widely
different distributions. We also compare the behaviour of quantum walks with
maximally entangled coins with that of quantum walks with non-entangled coins.
Finally, we show that the use of different shift operators on 2 and 3 qubit
coins leads to different position probability distributions in 1 and 2
dimensional graphs.Comment: Two new sections and several changes from referees' comments. 12

It\u27s Elementary, My Dear Lawyer : Use Online Investigative Resources
The web is a handy investigative tool, allowing a researcher to obtain a variety of information about persons, property and things. One can find email addresses, home addresses, telephone numbers, criminal records, military service information, property records, vital statistics information, photographs and more. This information may help locate a missing heir, reveal useful information about a potential expert witness, confirm the legitimacy of a business, determine who owns a piece of property or expose the litigious nature of a potential client
Crossing Borders: Adventures in Transnational Legal Research
Lists organizations and online resources designed to assist the domestic lawyer in global transactions or litigation. offers helpful definition and guidance for getting started. Focuses on free resources available in English, although a few resources available in other languages are included as well
Around the World in Twenty Minutes: International Legal Research on the Web
A researcher in “international law” may need to locate primary sources such as international treaties, decisions of international and domestic tribunals, and foreign laws while also seeking secondary sources such as treatises and articles. The Internet has improved access to foreign and international materials immeasurably in the past few years. Items that formerly were not available in a published format might now be available with a click of the mouse. Many international organizations and countries are now placing primary legal materials on the Web, although not always in English and usually only for recent years. Like other areas of the Web, finding these materials is not always easy. The rapid growth of electronic materials in this area makes maintaining an accurate set of links impossible. However, many resources exist to help the researcher find relevant foreign and international information in this vast web of resources
Process in Poland? Evidence in Ethiopia?: Online Help with Transnational Legal Transactions
With the globalization of the economy, American attorneys face increasing challenges in transactions and contract formation. When conducting business between entities in more than one country, whose law governs the transaction? If a dispute arises, where and how will it be solved? How is service of process completed outside of the United States? How is “discovery” of documents and other types of evidence accomplished? If judgment is entered in one country, will it be enforced in another? These are questions that many American attorneys face, regardless of whether they intended to practice “international law.” This paper discusses organizations and online resources which will assist the transnational lawyer in global transactions or litigation. The focus is on free resources available in English, although a few resources available in other languages are included as well
Direction of the Play/Musical: The Orphan Train
This project entailed the selection, background research and documentation, music research, casting, direction, vocal coaching, and post-production analysis of McKnight Middle School\u27s production of Tamara E. Burnett\u27s The Orphan Train. Documentation includes research and analysis of the play and an evaluation of the play as a production vehicle for the department of Theatre Arts at Central Washington University
