National identity discourse and perception in the media outlets of Kazakhstan
This project examines perceptions of the civic "Kazakhstani" national identity in the
discourse of Kazakh- and Russian-language media of Kazakhstan and highlights the divergent views on
the civic nationhood of Kazakhstan in these two linguistic realms as well as explores implications for the
nation-building process in Kazakhstan. In particular, this study illustrates how the usage of two languages,
Kazakh and Russian, in the country's media industry, marks different understandings of ethnicity and
identity issues in their respective audiences

Концепция образования Макса Шелера в свете его философской антропологии
In modern pedagogy, the educational ideal of knowledge is gradually being established as a special property of a person included in the existence of the world. The formation of a person comes to the fore here, not just the process of transferring a certain amount of knowledge. One of the founders of this approach is Max Scheler. Materials and methods. The general foundations for the study of his concept of education were the method of philosophical and anthropological reconstruction and the method of meaningful and semantic interpretation, as well as dialectical, hermeneutic, comparative, ascent from the abstract to the concrete, systemic and other methods. The main results of the study. The German thinker developed his theory of education on the basis of philosophical anthropology and the sociology of knowledge, the component parts of which are phenomenology and axiology. The main task of philosophical anthropology is to analyze the essence and essential structure of man, the sources of his being, which combines a powerful but blind energetic-vital “impulse” and a seeing, but weak content-semantic “spirit” axiologically striving towards the Divine. First of all, a person is a loving creature, and then - a knowing and willing. Scheler identified three types of knowledge - practical, positive, aimed at achieving pragmatic goals; essential, educational, aimed at the formation and development of the individual, and metaphysical, salvific, striving to comprehend the higher basis of being, which can be used in the process of education and spiritual development of a person, where the second type of knowledge plays the main role. Education is the process of self-creation of a person through love for other people, God and the whole world, the philosopher emphasizes. The metaphysical prerequisite for the self-formation of a personality is freedom as the spontaneity of its spiritual center. The goal of education is the realization of the ideal of the whole human as a comprehensively and spiritually developed personality, consistently revealing all its essential capabilities. In the absolute sense, the “whole human” is the “guiding idea” of a person who, in infinite form and finite variety, consistently reveals all his essential capabilities. In a relative sense, this ideal is embodied in the idea of a “well-formed human” striving for self-development in specific historical conditions and life circumstances. The comprehensive and holistic worldview of the individual, the philosopher comes to the conclusion, is possible through the acquisition and assimilation of essential, educational and other types of knowledge that determine the structure of ordering and understanding the facts of the possible experience of people. © 2020 LLC Ecological Help. Application of a Dy3Co0.6Cu0.4Hx addition for controlling the microstructure and magnetic properties of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets
The focus of new technologies on the formation of inhomogeneous distributions of heavy rare-earth metals (REMs) in hard magnetic Nd-Fe-B materials is of scientific importance to increase their functional properties, along with preserving existing sources of heavy REMs. This paper focused on the coercivity enhancement of Nd2Fe14B-based magnets by optimizing the microstructure, which includes the processes of grain boundary structuring via the application of a Dy3Co0.6Cu0.4Hx alloy added to the initial Nd-Fe-B-based powder mixtures in the course of their mechanical activation. We have studied the role of alloying elements in the formation of phase composition, microstructure, the fine structure of grains, and the hysteretic properties of hard magnetic Nd(R)(2)Fe14B-based materials. It was shown that the Dy introduction via the two-component blending process (the hydrogenated Dy3Co0.6Cu0.4 compound is added to a powder mixture) resulted in the formation of the core-shell structure of 2-14-1 phase grains. The efficient improvement of the coercivity of Nd(RE)-Fe-B magnets, with a slight sacrifice of remanence, was demonstrated.Web of Science1224art. no. 423
Low-temperature magnetostriction and distortions in the rare-earth Laves phases
The effects of partial substitution of dysprosium in Tb0.2Dy0.8Co2 by terbium and gadolinium on the structure and magnetic properties have been studied. Two compositions, Tb0.3Dy0.7Co2 and Tb0.2Dy0.7Gd0.1Co2 have been synthesized. Their crystal structure, in contrast to the structure of the original compound, has both tetragonal distortions and rhombohedral distortions at lower temperatures. Anomalies of magnetostriction and magnetocaloric effect near the observed magnetic phase transitions have been studied. The sign-alternating temperature dependences of the longitudinal and transverse magnetostrictions associated with various types of crystal structure distortions of the alloys are revealed
