Keterlaksanaan Kpl dan Pembinaan Dosen Muda Berbasis Lesson Study

This study aims at assessing the accomplishment of Lecture and Practice Field (KPL) which its implementation is integrated with young lecturer training based on Lesson Study. This research employed a qualitative methodology. The data collection of this study was using documentation and observation sheet. The data analysis technique in qualitative descriptive study resulted in a description of the implementation of lesson study. The results showed that (1) the time and place of lectures is categorized good, (2) providing students KPL and young lecturers with excellent category, (3) the implementation of Lesson study is categorized excellent, (4) the performance of young lecturers and students of the MPA in learning is categorized excellent, and (5) evaluation conducted is categorized excellent.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji keterlaksanaan Kuliah dan Praktik Lapangan (KPL) yang perlaksanakannya diintergrasikan dengan pembinaan dosen muda berbasis Lesson Study. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif menghasilkan deskripsi tentang kajian pelaksanaan lesson study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) waktu dan tempat perkuliahan dengan kategori baik, (2) membekali mahasiswa KPL dan dosen muda dengan kategori sangat baik, (3) pelaksanaan Lesson study dengan kategori sangat baik, (4) kinerja dosen muda dan mahasiswa KPL dalam pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik, dan (5) evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan kategori sangat baik

Application of support vector machine for classification of multispectral data

In this paper, support vector machine (SVM) is used to classify satellite remotely sensed multispectral data. The data are recorded from a Landsat-5 TM satellite with resolution of 30x30m. SVM finds the optimal separating hyperplane between classes by focusing on the training cases. The study area of Klang Valley has more than 10 land covers and classification using SVM has been done successfully without any pixel being unclassified. The training area is determined carefully by visual interpretation and with the aid of the reference map of the study area. The result obtained is then analysed for the accuracy and visual performance. Accuracy assessment is done by determination and discussion of Kappa coefficient value, overall and producer accuracy for each class (in pixels and percentage). While, visual analysis is done by comparing the classification data with the reference map. Overall the study shows that SVM is able to classify the land covers within the study area with a high accuracy

Evaluasi Aspek Teknis Peternakan Sapi Perah Rakyat di Kabupaten Karo Sumatera Utara Evaluation of Technical aspects on Smallholder Dairy Farm in Karo Regency of North Sumatera

Dairy farm has strategic roles in meet the demand of foods. The development of dairy cattle encourages creation of sustainable. In North Sumatera, Karo Regency is known as one of regions with most dairy farms, but now the farms is in stagnancy status. The stagnancy was affected by genetic and environment factors, so this research is aimed to evaluating technical aspect of dairy farms based on Good Dairy Farming Practice (GFDP). The method that used in this research was survey, respondent was collected by census with respondents as total sampling. Data was analyzed with chi-square test. Result of this research showed that highest GDFP point was management aspect, with 3.05 points (good) when lowest GDFP point was dairy cattle health aspect, with 1.52 points (less good). Key word: GDFP , Karo Regency , Dairy Cattl

Efektivitas Penyelenggaraan Pemerintahan Kampung di Distrik Silimo Kabupaten Yahukimo Provinsi Papua

This study departs from the phenomenon that the villages in the district governance Silimoindicated Yahukimo Papua Province has not been effective . This condition seems to be related to severalfactors inhibiting . Thus , this study aims to : ( 1 ) To determine the effectiveness of village governance ;and ( 2 ) . To determine the factors inhibiting the achievement of effective governance at the village SilimoDistrict Yahukimo .This study used a qualitative approach to the application of descriptive methods . Data andinformation gathered through interviews with 16 informants techniques , and equipped with observationand documentation , then analyzed by applying descriptive analysis techniques .Based on the analysis of data , it is known that : Implementation of the village administration .Particularly in Silimo District Yahukimo generally not effective . This condition can be seen from thereality of the interview in which the criteria for effectiveness penyelnggaraan village administration hasnot been implemented to the maximum .Thus , it can be concluded that there is some obstacle , namely : low accessibility factors , quantityand quality of human resources village government officials are inadequate , infrastructure andgovernment facilities were inadequate , and still strong patriarchal values that characterize the activity ofthe community , especially government officials village that gave birth to the paternalistic culture asinhibitors of achieving effectiveness village governanceTherefore , it is suggested that regional governments need to reform Yahukimo in several sectors , amongothers : land transportation network , infrastructure , equipment , facilities and budget supporting thedelivery of village governance , improving the quality and quantity of resources and village governmentofficials to build a culture system oriented achievement through religious guidance

Stimulasi Perilaku Kawin Owa Jawa (Hylobates Moloch Audebert, 1798) Jantan Menggunakan Sanrego (Lunasia Amara Blanco) 300 Mg

Javan gibbon is endemic and endangered species in Java Island, because of that this species needs intensive conservation program. Javan Gibbon Center (JGC) has concern for conservation javan gibbon. The former research has identified that male javan gibbon in JGC not quite enough to response breeding behavior whose performed by female. Therefore, the research was conducted to stimulating on mating behaviour of male by using sanrego, as one of an aphrodisiac plant with 300 mg dose. Sanrego was give everyday throuhg oral and combined with food. The monitoring start at 06.30 until 16.30 with direct observation, and journalize the behavior in tally sheet between the javan gibbon couple, in particular the male gibbon. The result was show that sanrego was gived the effect to mating behavior of male gibbon, although not until on significant level

Pengaruh Implementasi Prinsip-prinsip Good Governance terhadap Kinerja Organisasi (suatu Studi di Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Manado)

This research moved from the problem that the performance of the Department ofIndustry and Trade organization Manado indicated relatively low. This is presumably related to theapplication of the principles of good governance do not optimal. Thus, this study aims to: (1). Todescribe the application / implementation of the principles of good governance. (2). To describealso the achievement of the organization's performance; and (3). To analyze the effect of theapplication / implementation of the principles of good governance to organizational performanceDepartment of Industry and Trade of Manado.By using a quantitative approach and descriptive method, data were collected throughquestionnaires distributed technique to 30 employees and 30 respondents respondents were fromindustry and commerce businesses. Once the data is collected, then processed and analyzed usingdescriptive analysis techniques stratisk (Table freuensi) to describe the variable-varabel research isconducted and to test the hypothesis applied inferential statistical analysis techniques (correlationand regression analysis).The results showed that (1) the application of the principles of participation, according to therespondents' assessment of employees are in the category of "moderate" tend to be high, while forthe group of businesses that are in the category of "moderate" or medium, tend to be low, but thetwo groups of respondents agree that the principle of participation has not been implementedoptimally, because only about 28.3% of all respondents (60 people) to assess the "high" applicationof the principles of good governance in the context of the application. (2) the application of theprinciples of transparency, responsiveness, rule of law and responsiveness, according to theassessment respondents the average employee in the category of "high", while the respondentbusinesses categorized only "moderate".Organizational performance through employee achievement in reality has not achieved optimally,even a group of businessmen assess the "low" while the employee group precisely assess the "high"the achievement of the organization's performance. However, the majority (36.7%) of the twogroups of respondents agree that the achievement of the organization's performance is still in thecategory of "low". This indicates that the achievement of performance at the organizational level ofthe Department of Industry and Trade of Manado has not been recorded in full so necessaryrearrangement.Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of good governance and a real positive impacton organizational performance. This means that when the principles of good governance (goodgovernance) can be applied with no-Sunggu, it will encourage the improvement of organizationalperformance
