Shamanic Personal Tales in the Genesis of the Nanai Heroic Epic

Личные сказки представляют собой рассказы шаманов о событиях, пережитых и переживаемых каждым из них в пространстве духовного мира, о преодолеваемых ими в этом пространстве препятствиях и об их отношениях с духами-помощниками. Личные сказки обладают обрядовой функцией, так как способны, по мысли рассказчика, отождествляющего себя с героем, воздействовать на действительность. Это воздействие осуществляется за счет вплетенных в «достоверное биографическое повествование» вымышленных эпизодов, повествующих о якобы благополучном разрешении критических обстоятельств, переживаемых рассказчиком. Но перенос таких преобразований из духовного пространства нарратива в физическое пространство реального мира осуществляется, как считают шаманы, только при условии невольной поддержки дезинформированной аудитории, воспринимающей нарратив как общепринятый и традиционный и не догадывающейся об истинном отношении рассказчика к его содержанию. Такая поддержка обеспечивает дальнейшее коллективное бытование текста и способствует переходу его из статуса личной сказки в статус эпоса. Десакрализирующиеся со временем повествования закрепляются в традиции, пополняя фонд обретающих коллективное бытование сюжетов эпического фольклораPersonal tales are stories of shamans concerning the events experienced by each of them in the space of the spiritual world, the obstacles they overcome in that space and their relationship with the helper spirits. Personal tales have a ritual function, as they are targeted, according to the narrator, who identifies himself with the hero, to influence reality. This effect is carried out due to fictional episodes woven into the “authentic biographical narrative”, which tell about the allegedly successful resolution of critical circumstances that the narrator has been facing. However, such a favorable result can be achieved, according to shamans’ explanations, only with the involuntary support of a misinformed audience that perceives the narrative as generally accepted and traditional one and does not guess the true attitude of the narrator to its content. That support ensures the further collective existence of the text and contributes to its transition from the status of a personal tale to the status of an epic. «Современный дискурс о необходимости возрождения полузабытых традиций коренных народов Сибири в контексте актуализации их этнической идентичности парадоксальным образом противоречит наблюдаемому исследователями феномену игнорирования традиций и подмены их культурными манифестациями, востребованными в условиях усиления этнического самосознания. Эксперименты по возрождению культуры (фактически по замещению ее «изобретенными традициями») совершались в Сибири даже в тех случаях, когда прежние традиции не были еще утраченными и оставались для части населения актуальными. Тем не менее деятельность по возрождению традиций ориентировалась вовсе не на продолжающие еще бытовать традиции, но на некие упрощенные конструкты, укоренившиеся в массовом сознании как образы культуры коренных народов Сибири. Nanai Shamanic Vocabulary with the Component -so/-su

Представлен анализ в нанайском языке компонента -со/-су, который, добавляясь к корневой основе производящего слова из группы бытовой лексики в качестве суффикса, способствует семантическому сдвигу, переводя производное слово в группу лексики религиозной. Выявление слов с корневой основой су ‘амулет, талисман’, суе ‘корни мифического шаманского дерева’, сона ‘группа шаманских духов’ позволяет утверждать, что подобный семантический сдвиг указывает на корневое происхождение компонента -со/-су. Авторы полагают, что способ словообразования путем словосложения и последующего редуцирования второго корня при частичном сохранении семантики этого второго корня не только проявляется в рассмотренных словах, но указывает на наличие в нанайском языке определенной, но еще не исследованной закономерностиThe article considers the component -so/-su, which, being added as a suffix to the root basis of the generating word from the group of common and ordinary vocabulary, contributes to the semantic shift by translating the derived word into the group of religious vocabulary. The identification of words with the root basis of su ‘amulet, talisman’, sue ‘the roots of the mythical shamanic tree’, or sona ‘group of shamanic spirits’ suggests that such a semantic shift indicates the origin of the component -so/-su form those roots. The authors consider that the method of word formation by word composition and subsequent reduction of the second root with partial preservation of the semantics of this second root is manifested not only in the words considered in the article, but indicates the presence of a certain pattern in the Nanai language that has not yet been investigate
