Part I Literature Survey Up to now, few articles have been written on the subject of Experimental Pulp Digester Installations. In our searches we have been able to find information concerning only The Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada in Montreal, P.Q., Canada, The Chemical Pulp Experimental Department of the Central Laboratory in Finland, and a sulfite digester for research and instruction at the University of Washington at Seattle, Washington, U.S.A

A Smoke Screen Theory of Financial Intermediation

This paper analyzes a stylized (two period) credit market where investors care about the appropriability of the information they produce when they engage in costly ex ante evaluation of borrowers quality. We show that diversified intermediation arises as a dissimulation mechanism allowing investors to extract informational rents in the second period, thereby mitigating the underlying appropriability problem.Financial intermediation ; informational rent ; asymmetric information ; free riding ; diversification

Black Hole-Wormhole transition in (2+1) Einstein -- anti-de Sitter Gravity Coupled to Nonlinear Electrodynamics

In this paper we present two results in (2+1)(2+1) gravity coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics. First it is determined the general form of the electromagnetic field tensor in (2+1)(2+1) gravity coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics in stationary cyclic spacetimes. Secondly, it is determined a family of exact solutions in (2+1)(2+1) gravity sourced by a nonlinear electromagnetic field. The solutions are characterized by five parameters: mass MM, angular momentum JJ, cosmological constant Λ\Lambda and two electromagnetic charges, qαq_{\alpha} and qβq_{\beta}. Remarkably, the solution can be interpreted as a traversable wormhole, provided the fulfillment of certain inequalities by the characteristic parameters; fine tunning of the cosmological constant leads to an extreme black hole, whereas by switching off one of the electromagnetic charges, we obtain the Ba\~nados-Teitelboim-Zanelli (BTZ) black hole.Comment: Typos corrected. Asymptotic Cram\'er type decomposition for Wiener and Wigner integrals

We investigate generalizations of the Cram\'er theorem. This theorem asserts that a Gaussian random variable can be decomposed into the sum of independent random variables if and only if they are Gaussian. We prove asymptotic counterparts of such decomposition results for multiple Wiener integrals and prove that similar results are true for the (asymptotic) decomposition of the semicircular distribution into free multiple Wigner integrals
