Hubungan Konsep Diri, Komitmen, dan Motivasi Berprestasi dengan Prestasi Renang Gaya Bebas

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri, komitmen, dan motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan survai. Sampel penelitiannya atlet renang Jawa Barat berjumlah 35 orang dan diambil melalui teknik random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara: (1) konsep diri dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; (2) komitmen dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; (3) motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; dan (4) konsep diri, komitmen, dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas

Perencanaan Bendung Gerak dengan Pintu Air (Floodgate) Tipe Drum Gate untuk Kontrol Banjir pada Daerah Aliran Sungai Bendung Walahar Kabupaten Karawang

Air merupakan sumber kehidupan dan mengambil peranan yang penting dalam menunjang aktifitas manusia. Perkembangan dan gejala alam yang selalu mengalami dinamika dapat berpengaruh juga terhadap lingkungan sekitar kita. Potensi banjir besar di daerah aliran sungai akan sangat berdampak besar terhadap stabilitas hulu dan hilir bendung. Drum Gate merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengantisipasi kondisi tersebut. Spillway dengan tipe Drum Gate dapat secara otomatis terbuka pada saat banjir datang dengan kontrol ketinggian level permukaan banjir. Tujuan utama simulasi bendung gerak dengan Drum Gate ini adalah untuk menentukan dimensi persatuan panjang Drum Gate dengan mengambil studi kasus pada bedung walahar. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perhitungan manual dengan bantuan Microsoft excel dan analisa mekanika untuk bendung Drum Gate menggunakan software solid work. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan debit banjir rencana dengan periode ulang 100 tahun dengan metode FSR Jawa Sumatra. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persatuan panjang Drum Gate didesain dengan pelat dan kerangka baja berjari-jari 1.5 m, sudut pintu 45° dan tebal pelat 6 mm mampu mengalirkan debit banjir rencana 100 tahuna

Growth Potential of Mangrove Crab (Scylla Serrata) in Mantehage Island Waters, Bunaken National Park, North Sulawesi

Scylla serrata is one of the dominant muddy crabs caught in Mantehage Island coastal waters, North Sulawesi. The study was aim to determine the temporal distribution of S. serrata condition i based on carapace length - weight relationship and its condition factors. Data carapace width and weight of muddy crabs collected by enumerators from Oktober 2014 to April 2015. The results showed that b value of male (2.219 – 2.835) and female (1.264-2.352) were significantly different (P<0.05). Male and female crabs have a negative allometric growth pattern with b value of males tend to be larger than females. Range of values for K and Kn male crabs longer than females that male crabs tend to be fatter. Temporal distribution of this mangrove crab condition factors is assumed to be related with the reproductive cycle. The value is increasing since October to a peak season in January which estimated related to a peak of the muddy crabs spawning season in Mantehage Island coastal waters. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi pertumbuhan kepiting bakau ditinjau dari hubungan panjang karapas dengan berat. Data panjang karapas dan berat kepiting bakau dikumpulkan melalui nelayan setempat sebagai enumerator sejak Oktober hingga April 2015. Hasil menunjukkan nilai b antara kepiting jantan (2,219 – 2,835) dan betina (1,264 - 2,352) berbeda nyata (P<0,05). Keduanya memiliki pola pertumbuhan allometrik negatif dengan nilai b kepiting jantan cenderung lebih besar dibandingkan betina. Kisaran nilai K dan Kn menunjukkan kepiting jantan lebih panjang dibandingkan betina sehingga kepiting jantan cenderung lebih gemuk. Sebaran faktor kondisi kepiting bakau diduga terkait dengan siklus reproduksinya. Nilai faktor kondisi meningkat sejak bulan Oktober 2014 hingga puncaknya pada bulan Januari 2015yang diduga pada saat tersebut merupakan puncak musim pemijahan kepiting bakau di perairan P. The Existence of Intertidal Gastropods in Malalayang Beach, North Sulawesi

This study aims to determine the density, relative density and patterns of distribution of gastropods and diversity index gastropod community in the intertidal Malalayang Beach (behind Minanga Hotel), North Sulawesi. Gastropods sampling using quadratic size 0.5x0.5 m2 placed systematically and proportionally on dead coral sandy substrate mix mud, rocks slightly sandy substrate and substrate-sized stones. The results found have been changes in the number of species of the 30 species of gastropods (Manginsela, 1998) now to only 15 species. While the density of intertidal Malalayang gastropods contained 0,13 and the current range of 0.06 - 0.13 individu/m2 and relative density ranged from 2%-38.5%. Diversity index contained in the intertidal gastropod dead coral layered thin smear highest H\u27 = 2.412 following the rocky region is H\u27 = 2.232, and the lowest in the region b is H\u27 = 2.059. Dispersal patterns in the intertidal gastropod are all randomized except Cypraea felina the distribution pattern of the group

Understanding Social Enterprises in Indonesia:

Entrepreneurship has been one of the biggest growth topics in the past decades. Someentrepreneurs engage in socially active activities that are strongly embedded in their entrepreneurialactivities and are known as social entrepreneurship. This research maps the presence ofsocial enterprises in Indonesia by investigating the personal and organizational contexts of thesocial entrepreneurs. Qualitative research was conducted by engaging in in-depth interviewswith 8 social enterprises in Indonesia. Higher media multi-tasking activity is associated with smaller gray-matter density in the anterior cingulate cortex

Media multitasking, or the concurrent consumption of multiple media forms, is increasingly prevalent in today’s society and has been associated with negative psychosocial and cognitive impacts. Individuals who engage in heavier media-multitasking are found to perform worse on cognitive control tasks and exhibit more socio-emotional difficulties. However, the neural processes associated with media multi-tasking remain unexplored. The present study investigated relationships between media multitasking activity and brain structure. Research has demonstrated that brain structure can be altered upon prolonged exposure to novel environments and experience. Thus, we expected differential engagements in media multitasking to correlate with brain structure variability. This was confirmed via Voxel-Based Morphometry (VBM) analyses: Individuals with higher Media Multitasking Index (MMI) scores had smaller gray matter density in the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC). Functional connectivity between this ACC region and the precuneus was negatively associated with MMI. Our findings suggest a possible structural correlate for the observed decreased cognitive control performance and socio-emotional regulation in heavy media-multitaskers. While the cross-sectional nature of our study does not allow us to specify the direction of causality, our results brought to light novel associations between individual media multitasking behaviors and ACC structure differences
